Fenerbahce Stadium. Istanbul stadiums. Istanbul Olympic Stadium

In the historical part of Istanbul is the most famous stadium in Turkey with an interesting name - "Inonu". It has one of the richest histories in Europe. The football club "Besiktas" holds its home matches on it.

The stadium was opened in 1947, immediately becoming the home arena for Besiktas. Its capacity was very meager - only 15 thousand people. But over time, several restorations and redevelopments were made, which increased the arena's capacity to 32,000 spectators. The stadium has a classic antique design on the outside. The stands are square in shape with rounded corners. Soon the club government will begin another renovation, the purpose of which is to refresh the design of the stadium and increase its capacity to 41,000 people.

The stadium has a number of features. For example, this is the only stadium in the world from which you can see two continents at once - Europe and Asia. Also, architectural monuments are visible from the stands, including the Dolmabahce Palace and the Maiden Tower. Also, it was this arena that set the European record for the level of noise produced - 132 dB, which was achieved in the football match "Besiktas" - "Liverpool".

Sights of Istanbul

A week before the New Year, I realized that it was not at all worth staying in Moscow for the weekend. I opened the list of visa-free countries, opened ticket.yandex.ru I keep this cozy little magazine on the topic of football, then the story of how on New Year's Eve I found myself first without registration, then at a rave, and then woke up in some kind of hospice in the corridor on the sofa where a Russian girl brought me (thanks to her) I'll leave Nadia, whom I met at a rave, for gatherings over a can of grandfather's slightly fermented grape juice :)

in Istanbul, I walked along the local stadiums, apart from saying that they are all unrealistically cool, there is nothing special to say! The stadiums of Besiktas and (less known in our regions of the club) Kasimpas are located in the center of Istanbul and have the most gorgeous viewing platforms for these stadiums!

BJK İnönü Stadı Besiktas Stadium. The stadium has a good fanshop and club museum.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium

Kasimpasa SK stadium, I still don't understand if they play in the top Turkish league. But in any case, this is a club, as they say, for the locals. Walking along the mikrash (by the way, with the same name Kasimpasa, or rather the club is named after the district) on every second front door you can see the pennant of this club! Unfortunately, there is no store :((or I just didn’t find it). Then we take the metro and go north, transfer to a special stadium line from one station, where a brand new handsome stadium of the Galatasaray football club is located behind the local Tambul Ring Road "(Istanbul). The metro station, by the way, was made purely for football! Convenient navigation, wide tunnels. If necessary, then at the exit of the car you will be diverted into different streams.

Turk Telekom Arena

Well, this is just finally a colossus! And next to it (in the photo you can barely see it on the left) there is a two-story fan shop where there is a bunch of everything. Uncle, the security guard of the private security company, in broken English forbade me to go around him, but I remembered the precepts of comrades Ovalny and others, and still went around him. Like a puddle, everything is the same around the perimeter, nothing interesting. You can get to the metro from the stadium by an elevator for the disabled (which always works, and not only when the check arrives!), which I did .. on the occasion, by making a bow

We return to the center, go down to the water, buy CSK MOSKOVA colors

we sit on a steamboat, swim across the river, the Bosphorus Strait almost directly to the Fenerbahce stadium, a colossus that can simply be passed by, because. It is located in a dense building, and from afar you can not see it in any way. Everything was mixed up around: kebabs, mosques, Turks!

Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadyumu It doesn't really look like a stadium, from the bottom everything is in shops: a car dealership, burger, fener fanshop, some other hat. You can't go around. In fact, it is very crowded around him, and seeing the situation around him with his own eyes, it became clear why not all Spartak fans got to the game! Then we take the train and go deep east to the Kartal area, where the patrimony of the first Turkish league club Kartalspor FC is located. The station, by the way, is also designed for the fact that sometimes there can be a flow of people, i.e. not one platform, like everywhere else, but two. We pass by Super College (if there was such an opportunity in Moscow, I would gladly go to study at a vocational school as a fraser, if it were SUPER). Here, for sure, if you do not know that this is a stadium, then it will be difficult to understand. But I knew. And I found the only place where I can take a picture for you.
Kartal Stadium Holds 10k by the way. In general, here it is. Then they threatened me with a finger so that I would not climb where it was not necessary, I did not argue and went to leave this benevolent micron. Near the stadium, by the way, for some reason there is a fan shop Fenerbahce. I don't have my shop :(
Overview map of Istanbul stadiums. As an attentive reader can understand, I bypassed the two most western of them, the Olympic and some other. True, judging by the pictures on the Internet, they are complete dull shit, and there was not much to catch there ... there will be a continuation, but while you are waiting, a cat suddenly appears on a scooter ..

An excerpt characterizing Fenerbahce Sükrü Saracoglu

“Look, look…” and a bright, joyful light suddenly shone in his dark, gloomy cave!.. “How do you like such a house?”
Our "sad" friend's eyes lit up happily. He looked around in bewilderment, not understanding what had happened here... And in his creepy, dark cave, the sun was shining brightly and cheerfully, lush greenery was fragrant, birds were singing, and there was a smell of amazing smells of blossoming flowers... in its far corner a brook murmured merrily, splashing droplets of the purest, freshest, crystal water...
- Here you go! As you like? Stella asked cheerfully.
The man, completely stunned by what he saw, did not utter a word, only looked at all this beauty with eyes widened in surprise, in which trembling drops of “happy” tears shone like pure diamonds ...
- Lord, how long have I not seen the sun! .. - he whispered softly. - Who are you, girl?
- Oh, I'm just a man. Just like you - dead. And here she is, you already know - alive. We walk here together sometimes. And we help, if we can, of course.
It was clear that the baby was happy with the effect and literally fidgeting with the desire to prolong it ...
- Do you really like? Do you want it to stay that way?
The man just nodded, unable to utter a word.
I didn’t even try to imagine what happiness he should have experienced, after that black horror in which he was daily, and for so long, was! ..
“Thank you, dear…” the man whispered softly. “Just tell me, how can it stay?”
- Oh, it's easy! Your world will only be here, in this cave, and no one will see it except you. And if you don't leave here, he will stay with you forever. Well, I will come to you to check... My name is Stella.
- I don't know what to say for this... I didn't deserve it. This is probably wrong ... My name is Luminary. Yes, not very much “light” has brought yet, as you can see ...

Stadium Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu(tour. - Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadyumu) is one of the largest football arenas in Turkey and belongs to the local football club Fenerbahce.

History

One of the oldest stadiums in Turkey began its existence in 1908, although since the beginning of the 20th century this place has served as a ground for football matches and has been known as PapazIn CayIrI.

With the start of the Istanbul championship, the field was overgrown with stands and became home to many clubs, including “ Fenerbahce", "Besiktas", "Galatasaray". The stadium was originally called Silahtar Ağa Sahası, then Union Club Field And İttihat Spor Field.

On a permanent basis, Fener settled here in 1929, and in 1933 the stadium became the property of the club and became known as Fenerbahce. Thus, the "canaries" became the first club in the country with its own arena.

A year later, the global reconstruction of Sukru Saracoglu started, during which all the stands of the stadium were gradually rebuilt.
