SPONSORED CHERENKOV

He should have appeared in the Spartak base much earlier. I was waiting for at least his substitution already in the matches with Feyenoord. Waited - but did not wait. This year the guy was fatally, just deadly unlucky. Not only that, in just a couple of winter months, he got two injuries at once. To top it all off, on the eve of the rendezvous with the Dutch, he developed a severe form of angina: for a whole week with a temperature of under 40, he was not even able to get out of bed. The doctors' verdict was inexorable - forget about football for a month.

The disease tormented, tormented, but receded, and Oleg Romantsev, not without reason, counted on his trip to Antwerp - someone, in the absence of Volodya Beschastnykh, must create sharpness at the gates of rivals. But it is known, after all, that the trouble is that she prefers not to come alone. And something happened that could happen only in our not quite normal country: - because of some stupid bureaucratic red tape, he did not have time to issue travel documents. And instead of going out on the field, he watched the tragedy taking place on the field, sitting in Moscow watching TV.

But bad luck still has one positive property - sooner or later it will end. So, as fate did not mock him, the first appearance of the 22-year-old forward of the Moscow "Spartak" Andrei Tikhonov in the starting lineup of the team even she. could not prevent. And this exit fell exactly on the derby with Dynamo, which tuned in to Spartak like a hungry wolf for a piece of raw meat. How it all ended, you know without me. You probably also remember Tikhonov's goal - the goal with which he opened his personal account in the Russian championship.

... Life sometimes throws tricks worse than any ingenious literary plots. Andryusha Tikhonov, not even suspecting at that moment that he was to become a Spartak footballer, was born a few hundred meters from the red-and-white monastery - Tarasovka. Do you think, as he grew up a little, he immediately ran to enroll in the Spartak section? No matter how. I ran to run, but not at all to Spartak, but to the city of Kaliningrad near Moscow.

Of course, I thought about the career of a professional football player, but I didn’t dare to dream about Spartak - I didn’t dare to dream about the first league. And when I finished school and turned 18, they took me into the army.

In a sports company?

What kind of sport is there! In the most ordinary army, in the internal troops, in Siberia. Where he plowed honestly for two years. And I think not in vain. The army radically changed my outlook on life, made me a hundred times more serious and responsible.

Did you play football in the army?

Believe it or not, but I have never seen a ball in two years.

And so he missed the ball during these 730 Siberian days that he returned home - and could not tear himself away from it. Yes, I didn't want to. I quickly remembered my dream of professional football and went to the Kaliningrad Vympel, which played in the championship of physical education teams. A year later, he ended up in the second league, in a team with the modest name "Titan" from Reutov, near Moscow.

Andrey Tikhonov in a match against the Ukrainian team.

And soon "Titan" managed to run into the double of the Moscow "Spartak" in the championship match. To the misfortune of "Titan", but, as it turned out later, to the happiness of forward Tikhonov. For that game in Balashikha, where the Spartak double was lodged, not only the full-time doubles coach Viktor Zernov, but also the top Spartak leadership, headed by Oleg Ivanovich Romantsev, came with his pupils. Do you think Tikhonov scored a bunch of goals in that match? You are mistaken - you did not score a single one. "Titan" lost - 0:1.

But it’s not without reason that Romantsev has such fame: he sees on the field what is inaccessible to others. Even one movement can calculate the future master. So here, apparently, Tikhonov's game sunk into the soul of the Spartak coach, once a few days later Tarkhanov showed up in Reutov and invited Andrei to try his hand at Spartak.

And it happened, to be honest, God knows what. A modest guy from the Moscow region, without showing any special ambitions, went out to himself calmly for the Spartak double and scored two dozen goals for the remaining half-season, which did not expect such agility from his rivals. He nailed it - and became the best sniper not only of the team, but also of his zone of the second league.

Everyone saw - the player is growing outstanding. Classic striker. The speed, however, is not so hot and is slightly deprived of a sprout, but the scoring flair, the ability to open up, a coolly delivered shot, the desire to fight until the last second - all this is with him. Let's listen, however, to Viktor Zernov: “He is an amazing person, and his fate can be considered unique. To go through two years of the army without a hint of football and still break into Spartak - what kind of purposefulness should a guy have? And he is a gentle, kind and very, very modest person. The same rare breed as Fedor Cherenkov. Suddenly, they became friends. And what I am absolutely sure of is that Andrey will not be overtaken by star disease.

And here is what his friend and senior mentor Fyodor Cherenkov says about Tikhonov: “Andrey and I met in the preseason, and I quickly recognized him as a talented player. Aiming at the goal, the ability to understand the game situation caught my eye at first sight. And then I got to know him as a person. At the winter training camp in Germany, we lived in the same hotel room. He is a kind and open guy. Often suitable: "If I'm doing something wrong, Fedorych, tell me, explain it on your fingers."

I saw for myself Tikhonov's modesty. Probably five or six times during our not too long conversation, he asked: “Yes, you don’t need to write anything about me. Who am I for this? Such an honor, in my opinion, must be earned.

Modesty is modesty, but Oleg Romantsev is still worried: “The guy is, of course, talented, but I beg you - do not overpraise him. Because he is now on the edge. On the one hand - the basis of Spartak, on the other - the second league, some kind of Reutov. To earn praise, he must firmly stand on the first path. For all Andryushin's virtues, he has a small defect, quite correctable - in my opinion, he still does not quite feel that football has turned from just pleasure into serious work for him. This is quite natural - for some year he went from almost yard football to Spartak. It's hard to understand everything at once. But I am very pleased that Fyodor Cherenkov took patronage over Tikhonov. Both in human terms and in game terms, he will be able to tell Andrei a lot of things that no one else can tell.

I confess - I did not listen to Tikhonov's persistent requests and nevertheless decided to write about him. About a guy who, telling that he lives in his native Kaliningrad, to my question: “Are you really not chasing an apartment in Moscow?” shrugs in bewilderment: “Why do I need it? ...”

As a player, Andriy, of course, needs to grow and grow - after all, he has just started his journey in serious football. But I believe that under the tutelage of Fyodor Cherenkov this growth will accelerate. And the most important goal in his life so far - to Dynamo Moscow - will be only the first sign of his future scoring fireworks.

Igor RABINER, Newspaper "Football Courier", 05/12/1993

MY TIKHONOV

I will say a seditious, probably, thing: Andrei Tikhonov has never been my idol. Neither in 1996, when he scored the golden goal of Alania and defended the gates of Spartak in the UEFA Cup match with Silkeborg, nor in 1998, when he upset the star Inter in the Champions League, nor in the last three years, when he pleased with his game, first of all, the Samara fans.

From what? I don't know myself. Maybe because I never seriously rooted for Spartak. And his photograph on my desktop - short-haired, in a civil suit, with a bouquet of gladioli in his hand - is dear to me, most likely, as a gift.

Nevertheless, the last championship became for me, paradoxically, Tikhonov's championship. Even though his team has never dropped so low in the standings before (the Wings finished only ninth) and that he ends the season effectively on the bench. Even though there's a nasty feeling that next year we won't see him at the Councils or any other Premier League club...

And it all started - nowhere better! In the very first round, in front of 36,000 Samara fans (I am happy to have witnessed this event. - Note V.K.), the captain of Krylia scores first the 99th, and then the 100th goal in official matches, plowing open the door to the elite club of Russian scorers. Note: having been a midfielder for most of his career.

That evening, for the first time, I saw a poster in the stands of Metallurg, on which the insightful words of Apollon Grigoriev were paraphrased: “Tikhonov is our everything!” And the comparison with Pushkin did not seem like blasphemy or exaggeration to me, because many people saw in this football player a hero, a prophet, and a savior. Fortunately, Tikhonov went through fire, water and copper pipes while still in Spartak, so that a wave of euphoria did not overwhelm him.

By and large, I don’t care who will score, as long as the team wins, ”he admitted after that meeting with Rotor. - I don't mind that these two goals would remain in my asset, and the Wings would continue to win.

Naturally, the Samara captain did not stop at two balls, and by the end of the season he had given out quite a Stakhanovite norm - nine goals and seven assists. Yes, three times he hit the opponents' goal from the penalty spot, in two more cases he did not score, but does this detract from the merits of the one who at the decisive moment goes to the “point”, like a torero to a bull?!

For a long time, the picture continued to seem idyllic. When the line-up was announced, the players at the tribune greeted the loudest player number 11, the press actively exploited the image of Tikhonov as not only a great master, but also in the board of his boyfriend, and the strictest judges treated the captain with reverence. However, a more tenacious eye could have noticed for a long time that Tikhonov for Wings is not at all the same as he was for Spartak for seven years. Personally, I realized this in the off-season during a friendly match between Samarans and Dynamo in Marbella, Spain, when the veteran, who was forced to go on a substitution, casually threw the captain's armband in the direction of his teammate who was changing him. The next day, Tikhonov, of course, apologized for this trick, but for some reason it stuck like a thorn in my memory.

Three years in Samara were not at all easy for Tikhonov. Firstly, the style of play, the character and psychology of the team were noticeably different from Spartak in the mid and late 90s. Secondly, in your 30s, when you have a well-established family and a brilliant career in the capital behind you, it is very difficult to play away from home. It's like an actor of the Moscow Art Theater to go to the stage of a provincial drama theater. Finally, a person accustomed to playing in the Champions League was hardly satisfied with a single outing to Europe in the framework of the Intertoto Cup, and even that was not the most successful one.

But the main thing is that for all these years the team has not become an unshakable monolith. Whose fault is another question. The players of the middle and older generation - Tikhonov, Bulatov, Bushmanov, Karyaki and others - had their own company, the foreigners, of whom there are almost a dozen in the Wings, had their own, the youth also had their own interests. So it turns out that the captain had to assert his authority again and again - in the locker room, on the field, outside it. And in my opinion, Tikhonov managed to save face.

It is clear that he will not be among the winners of the season. He is unlikely to even be awarded the tailcoat of the football gentleman of the year - if only because he already has one in his wardrobe. But it seems to me that in recent years we have another original team (albeit finishing ninth today), it is a great merit of him, Tikhonov. An old soldier who honestly pulled the strap for another year. So I would like it not to be demobilized!

That is why the current championship has become for me first of all the championship of Tikhonov, and only then - Olic and Yaroshik, Petrzhela and Berdyev, Loskov and Kerzhakov.

« I HAVE NOT PLAYED FOOTBALL YET»

Last spring, the captain of the Samara "Wings of the Soviets" Andrey Tikhonov made an unexpected decision to change the Russian championship to the Kazakh one. There were a great many comments on this matter - Tikhonov is one of the most colorful and popular figures in our football. Skeptics claimed that the 38-year-old footballer was tired of the loads and decided to “quietly” end his career in hothouse financial conditions. Their opponents were sure that Tikhonov was and remains a real pro and will show himself in Kazakh football in all its splendor, despite his advanced age.

The latter were right. Although even the most ardent fans of Andrey could not imagine that he would get up in his new club - Lokomotiv (Astana). In 14 matches of the championship of Kazakhstan, Tikhonov, playing, as a rule, in his usual position of the left midfielder, has already scored 11 goals! In the list of scorers of the championship, the Russian is second, only one ball behind Aktobe striker Murat Tleshev.

However, one more question remains. Maybe the local forwards are so frankly weak that they are unable to compete with the Russian honored veteran? Or is Tikhonov really still in perfect order? No one can explain the situation better than him. And Andrey, who scored another two goals last Monday - against the Okzhetpes club, readily answered all the questions of the Sports Weekend.

Haven't been in a while « clean» attackers

Andrei, congratulations on the occasion of the recent victory and two goals scored. Judging by the score 5:1, did the away game with Okzhetpes turn out to be very easy for your Lokomotiv?

Thank you for your congratulations. As for the last game, not everything is clear here. We met with the same team in the previous round, only played at home. Then "Okzhetpes" made us worry. At the end. Before that, however, we scored two goals and missed another 4-5 scoring chances. In particular, Shatskikh and Kukeyev did not convert clean one-on-one exits. And in the second half, the opponent won back one goal, and with the score 2:1, the last 10 minutes turned out to be very nervous for us. Three points were hard-fought. Therefore, the return match at a party was somewhat feared. But the victory in it was really given to us quite easily. Already scored four goals in the first half...

- ... And two of them were conducted by Andrei Tikhonov. Moreover, the decisive two goals - with the score 1:1, you scored the second and third goals of Lokomotiv. How did they score?

In the middle of the half, we got the right to dangerous free throws twice, and I managed to convert both.

Having won, Lokomotiv still takes second place in the championship of Kazakhstan ...

Yes. And this is our task, at least for the current season. Although the club's management still aims us at the maximum result. We are 4 points behind the leader of the Aktobe club championship. The distance is not very long, given that there is still a whole circle ahead. But the situation is complicated by the fact that we recently lost to our main competitor at home with a score of 0:2. Now it is imperative to win in Aktobe. Moreover, this most important game for us was supposed to take place in the next round - next Sunday, July 19th. But "Aktobe" is now playing matches of the preliminary round of the Champions League. Aktobe residents filed a request to postpone the match with us, and this request was satisfied the other day.

Matches against Aktobe are not going well for your team: Lokomotiv also lost in the two-round cup match. Uncomfortable opponent?

I wouldn't say so. Just two times Lokomotiv had to play in the minority. The judges removed our players, and this affected the final result. Aktobe residents, in my opinion, have only one unconditional trump card in a dispute with us - teamwork. They have been playing almost the same lineup for several seasons. We have added a lot of new players to the team. And besides, do not forget that our head coach Sergei Yuran received Lokomotiv just a week before the start of the championship.

By the way, what kind of football is Yuran trying to instill in Lokomotiv?

Attacking. We play in a 4-5-1 system with one prominent center forward. But the actions of almost all midfielders are focused on the attack.

Including - and your actions?

I guess, yes. I play on my usual left flank in midfield and attack more often than I defend. Although, of course, I don’t forget about defensive duties, like any extreme midfielder. By the way, in a couple of matches of the first round, due to personnel problems, the team had to perform the functions of the very only “clean” forward of Lokomotiv. I haven't been in this role for a long time (laughs).

Youth calls on « you»

I have heard that the current Lokomotiv is a very young team with literally two or three "uncles". Apparently, you and Yegor Titov. Is it so?

No. Lokomotiv cannot be called quite young. We have seven people in our team who are already over thirty. But almost all the other players are really just starting their way in football. Thus, the team lacks a little "middle level" - players who are at the very football age. Although we have several players from the national team of Kazakhstan - Karpovich, Abdullin, Kukeyev, and a number of players are invited to the youth team.

Are there any specifics in your relationship with head coach Yuran? You're practically the same age as him...

So what? In my previous team - Samara "Wings" - I was generally older than head coach Leonid Slutsky. And there were no problems.

I agree, but there is one caveat. Tikhonov never played TOGETHER with Slutsky. And for several years you and Yuran went out side by side on the field in Spartak Moscow ...

This fact was decisive only in one case: when I gladly accepted an invitation to play in a team led by coach Juran. And I'm playing it now. And believe me, I have always observed the necessary subordination in the relationship “head coach - football player”.

That is, football players Tikhonov and Titov should not expect any concessions from a former teammate?

Yes, what concessions are you talking about! On the contrary, at my age one should train with special zeal and keep in shape more carefully than ten years ago. After all, you can deceive yourself. But you can't fool football.

And all the same, I don’t believe that you, Andrey, are not listed in Lokomotiv on a special account!

Well, guys, of course, respect. Several young football players stubbornly call me “you”, although this, of course, is not quite usual in the work process. Moreover, they even tried to call me by my first name and patronymic, but I resolutely stopped these attempts (laughs). I received the benefit only in the case of a game number. When I arrived at Lokomotiv, I said that I would like to play under the usual and beloved number 11, but if it is busy, I am ready to take on another one. Eleven was really busy. But the player who owned it agreed to change it for another, after which they handed me the T-shirt with the 11th number. It was nice.

Everyone fights against the leaders

- Tell me, is Juran still over-emotional on the touchline during matches?

What do you think, can a person at the age of 40 take and change his own character at once? Of course, Juran is emotional during the game. Just like me, or Titov, or my other teammates. We all live the game - and we can react violently, for example, to some kind of judicial decision, if it seems unfair to us.

What, by the way, is the level of refereeing in the championship of Kazakhstan?

Occasionally there were moments when I simply did not understand on the field: either a person deliberately makes completely inexplicable decisions, or he is simply incompetent in his field. But in general, they judge us normally.

- Do Aktobe and Lokomotiv stand out from the rest of the clubs?

I would say that in the championship of Kazakhstan there is a certain leading group of four clubs, which looks stronger than others. In addition to Aktobe and Lokomotiv, I would like to mention Shakhtar and Tobol. All these teams play more stable than others.

Could the best clubs in Kazakhstan compete in the Russian Premier League?

I think that just the first three or four clubs in the standings - those that I have named, would not have been lost in the Russian championship. The rest would be more difficult for us to compete.

Are there many footballers known for their performances in the Premier League playing in Kazakhstan now?

They are not very many, but they are. In "Aktobe", for example, the captain of the team Samat Smakov, who once played in Rostov-on-Don, stands out noticeably. In the same Aktyubinsk, my former Spartak teammate Konstantin Golovskoy has been performing for a long time. He scored a hat-trick in the last round. Andrei Karpovich moved to Lokomotiv together with me and Titov, who spent last season at Dynamo Moscow. Bayramov from Rubin plays in Tobol, Rogachev, who once scored for Saturn, has now arrived in Vostok ...

Recently, your team was joined by the famous striker Maxim Shatskikh, who played ten seasons for Dynamo Kiev. Did he immediately improve Lokomotiv's play?

Shatsky's reputation speaks for itself. And the fact that a person can do everything in football became clear after the very first training session. Maxim lacked only "physics", he came to us not in the best shape. But in two weeks he managed to noticeably improve his condition. And Shatskikh has already scored "his" goal in the last match against Okzhetpes. We all hope that he will consistently score in the future. The struggle is going to be serious, and Maxim's goals will be very useful to us.

You mentioned a serious struggle. Should it be understood that you are not at all disappointed with the level of Kazakhstani football?

Not at all. Rather, on the contrary: it somewhat exceeds my expectations. I was mentally prepared for the worst. But here even outsiders - at least in matches with the leaders - tune in and fight with all their might, demonstrating a good game at the same time.

thirty second floor

What was the decisive argument in favor of your move from Samara to Astana?

Figures of two people - Yegor Titov and Sergei Yuran. Maybe if only one of them ended up in Lokomotiv by the will of fate, I would not have moved there. But it just so happened that they both ended up there. One as a player, the other as a coach. The opportunity to work and be close to both was very tempting. And I, having previously consulted with my wife and enlisted her support, agreed to transfer to Lokomotiv.

Is it true that the president of Lokomotiv himself enters the field as a striker?

Right. By the way, he scored two goals in the first two rounds. And then he got injured.

The Russian press reported a lot about the opening of a new handsome stadium in Astana, which will become the home arena for Lokomotiv. Have you already played it?

The opening match became a real holiday, many fans came. Andrey Shevchenko, Kakha Kaladze arrived in Astana from Milan to take part in it, two more well-known Turks - Khakan Shukur and Hasan Shash arrived. The stadium is really great. Only now we have to play on it no earlier than in a month and a half. Somewhere at the end of August. Because the stadium was opened ... and immediately closed. Eliminate existing defects.

How many people go to Lokomotiv's home matches?

While we are playing in a small arena, about ten thousand people, with a good, green field. Full houses on it are a rare thing, but 6-7 thousand fans usually come to support us. Not much, of course, to be sure. We try to play in such a way that more people come, but it's difficult. Still, the number one sport for local fans is hockey.

And what about attendance in other cities?

Of course, Aktyubinsk stands apart. At the local stadium - it, by the way, is somewhat reminiscent of the football arena in Ramenskoye - they know how to get sick. They say that Tobol in Kustanai also enjoys the support of the stands, but I haven't played there yet.

Does the hot weather interfere with football now, in the summer?

To me personally - not especially, especially since there is no heat now. After all, Astana is located in the northern part of Kazakhstan and, moreover, stands on a flat place open to all winds. And the winds blow constantly here, the weather can change quickly. In my memory, in the heat, we played only once - just a home match with Aktobe. On that day, the thermometer reached plus 38, and it was really hard on the field.

Does your family live with you in Astana?

How did you settle into the new place? Do you live “closer to the ground”, as in Tarasovka near Moscow, where you have your own house, or did you choose an apartment to live in?

No, I'm pretty off the ground now. The 32nd floor is, you know, quite high (laughs).

I heard right - the thirty-second floor?!

Yes, we live in a comfortable apartment on the thirty-second floor of a 38-story building. Residential complex "Triumph". Approximately similar house-colossus stands in Moscow near the CSKA stadium on Peschanaya street. Life is well established, it's a sin to complain.

When the football player Tikhonov played in Russia, the fans literally did not give him a pass on the streets - in Moscow, in Khimki, in Samara. Do fans behave more calmly in Astana?

No problems. They come up for an autograph or ask to be photographed together - but all this is absolutely cultural, without too much excitement. It appeals to me.

You can't easily replace Tymoshchuk

Do you manage to follow the matches of the Russian championship?

As far as possible. I, unfortunately, can not watch all Russian matches, I see only compressed reviews of the tours. But, of course, up to date with all the news.

Rubin is the leader in the Russian Premier League for the second year in a row. Is it logical?

You yourself said that it was the second year. This is no longer a coincidence, but a pattern. I think that Dominguez's return to Kazan from Zenit played a very important role in Rubin's success today.

By the way, what do you think about the current game of "Zenith"?

Of course, I was surprised how many points during the first round lost St. Petersburg. Should we be surprised though? When a team leaves its leaders, this cannot pass without a trace. And several leading players left Zenit at once - Arshavin, Tymoshchuk, the same Dominguez ... Say, Tymoshchuk, due to his unique individual qualities, managed to block the entire center of the field. You can't easily replace a player like that...

The begs the question to the football player Tikhonov: how does he evaluate the game of Spartak?

To be honest, Spartak has always been a "lucky" team. So it was in those days when I myself played for the Red-Whites, and it remains so now. Now, remembering, you are only amazed at the incredible angles from which it was sometimes possible to score! And now… I didn't see Spartak's game in the last round in Rostov, but I was told that the team was lucky again in the end. And Welliton scored the only goal again - a man who now plays a huge role in the attacking formations of Spartak. Came a new coach in the face of Karpin, advises Romantsev - and the team is now playing on positive emotions.

You, judging by your goalscoring exploits in Kazakhstan, also play on such emotions.

You're right. Football is still fun for me. And I haven't played it yet.

TIRELESS

Andrey Tikhonov's Kazakhstan business trip is a thing of the past. Only memories remain, good and not so good. The piggy bank of awards was replenished with a silver medal, memory - new, vivid impressions, and the soul - sediment and misunderstanding.

When during our conversation it was necessary to touch the football player to the quick, Andrey's bright eyes became sad, but the interlocutor did not feint and go aside from a single question. An hour of communication flew by like five minutes, during this time I discovered a lot of new things about Tikhonov, whom I seemed to have known all my life before.

Girl, where are you?

This question made me shudder and look at the road leading from the Khimki Arena stadium to the Moscow Ring Road. A few minutes ago, the presentation of Khimki newcomer Andrey Tikhonov ended, with whom we agreed to meet the next morning for a detailed conversation. I really did not expect that the friendly face of Tikhonov would appear from the descending window of an impressive jeep.

Would you really go on foot like that? - in all seriousness asked Andrei.

Getting into the car, I did not even find what to answer. Trips to the Khimki Arena and back have become an ordinary part of my life.

Why don't you buy a car? No rights?

Yes, but I'm afraid of crazy traffic on Moscow roads.

Aren't you afraid of guest workers?

Here is such a sympathetic person Andrei Tikhonov, although which of the Spartak fans will be surprised by this?

In the footsteps of the father

Let's talk about the Tikhonov family. Your two sons play football. At what age do children become addicted to sports and how are their successes progressing?

The youngest son, Denis, started training at the age of six, and Misha at the age of seven or eight. They used to train in Khimki, but it was far away and it was inconvenient for my wife to take them, and I was absent for a whole year. Now the sons attend the section in Mytishchi. It is fifteen minutes from home.

Eight years - not too late to join the football?

I actually got into football when I was nine. And then, I talked with Leonid Slutsky, who said that a child under ten years old has nothing to do in football. As you can see, everyone has a different opinion on this. If the boy is gifted? - he will play, and if there is no talent, then bring it at least from the age of six, at least from the age of five.

Is the prospect already visible in children?

You can see perspective in any child if you want to. It depends on who is evaluating. The coach does it differently, not like a father, because he does not look at one student, but at the team. Personally, I see a future in my sons.

Who is more gifted, in your opinion, the older or the younger?

- Misha has more developed fighting qualities, character, and the smaller one is better equipped technically. But football is played by characters. I didn’t have any data at all as a child. Only due to the desire it turned out to break through. And then, with experience, everything else came. And ??? sons ... That's when they are fourteen years old, then it will become clear who is capable of what.

It turns out that the older one is more inclined to play defense, and the younger one to attack?

They are both right midfielders. For example, Yura Drozdov's son played in Lokomotiv until the age of fourteen, then he transferred to Khimki, and now he is studying at a military school. That is, the interest of the child did not coincide with the desire of the pope. Sometimes children think more not about football, but about how to dress better, for example, or they are fascinated by computer games. Those who have such interests end up in the army. I myself have been involved in various sports since childhood. And bandy, and tennis, and billiards, and basketball. But at that time, sport had no alternative, because there was nothing but stadiums, and now there are many different temptations.

Have you abandoned your skates?

No, in the village where I live, there is a skating rink. Seven years ago, when I was in Samara, we had a training camp in Novogorsk and we went to Leningradka to the Umka hockey center. Tarkhanov conducted training there - we played bandy every day.

What team do your sons support?

They are rooting for dad. When I played in Khimki, they came to every game, however, for some reason, the youngest slept all the time. He was four and, apparently, fresh air had such an effect on the body.

Do you pass on football skills and your knowledge to children?

In the courtyard of the house, I put a small area with synthetic grass especially for them, and when there is time, we go out to practice. I try to explain something to them, to show some things. In general, there is where to kick the ball on New Year's holidays. When I finish my career, I will come to grips with transferring experience to my children, but for now, coaches are working with my sons. If I see that they have good prospects, I will send them to a serious school. But today we do not even know if they will remain in football, which I would very much like.

Do classes interfere with education?

When we sent the elder to the preparatory class of the lyceum, he studied from morning to evening, and there was not much time to train. And when he began to take football seriously, the craving for study disappeared. Therefore, we assigned him to a regular school, where I myself studied, and now he attends it with pleasure, brings home fives and fours. There is time not only for training, but also for a walk. If children are seriously interested in football, we are certainly ready to give them some indulgence in their studies.

Does the loud paternal surname impose additional responsibility on them?

Misha and Denis still do not fully understand this. But when I come to training, I hear what they say about them as the sons of Tikhonov. Maybe it gives them some privileges, but not everyone likes it. There are enough different people. But the sons feel that everyone treats them in a special way.

« Locomotive» sued

Let's talk about your career in Kazakhstan. Shortly after you moved to Lokomotiv Astana, you said that you like many things that are being done for the formation and development of the team. What exactly did they mean?

- We were impressed with the conditions created for Lokomotiv. At that moment everything was just perfect. The team lived in the best hotels, trained on excellent fields, flew on comfortable charters, salaries and bonuses were paid to the day. The management of the club treated us very well. That is why at the start we won seven matches in a row.

What happened next?

They don’t talk about it, but when we won so many victories, and several controversial penalties were put in our favor, movements began at the top. When something like this happens in Russia, they say that the team is being dragged. Apparently, the leadership of the federation thought so, because Lokomotiv had just entered the big leagues and immediately declared itself loudly. Upstairs, the judges were hinted that it would be bad for them if they helped our team. The arbitrators took it in such a way that it is better to make a mistake against us than to get a scolding from above. Therefore, there were moments when we were simply killed. Of course, Sergey Yuran was very dissatisfied with this, he began to speak out in the press, and in Kazakhstan they do not like speaking out against the top leadership. They have everything differently, not the same freedom of speech as in Russia. Here you can say anything, any criticism, but there it is perceived negatively. As a result, the team was under pressure.

But this hardly explains the financial problems that have begun.

It turned out that the budget allocated by our sponsor - KTZh (Kazakhstan Temir Zholy - Kazakh Railways - "Sport") was already exhausted by August. The club's management apparently did not fully calculate the premium limit, plus charters, expensive hotels. The numbers didn't match or something. And since August, they stopped paying us money.

But the team continued to live in a big way?

Yes, living conditions have not changed, we just did not receive any salary or bonuses. Lokomotiv still performed well and completed the task for the season - they took second place.

Management tried to solve financial issues - to find money?

KTZ fully fulfilled its obligations to the club, allocating all the funds that should have been spent on the team in 2009. They have no complaints. The miscalculation was on the part of the club's management, so at the moment other people are already at the helm. Some recalculations, reconciliations are being carried out ... And the players are still waiting for when they will give back the money for the last year.

Do you keep in touch with any of your former Lokomotiv teammates?

Sometimes I call up some guys and Andrei Karpovich, who moved to Aktyubinsk, is also not from a good life. Our agency is negotiating with the management, and we hope that the issue will be civilly closed, because if this does not happen, we will be forced to work differently. But this can hit the image of Kazakhstan, which aspires to Europe, to UEFA.

Since August, nothing has been paid at all: no salaries, no bonuses?

Before the new year, we were paid a monthly bonus and some other money. It's all.

It turns out that Lokomotiv has a big debt to you.

It depends on what you compare it to. The sponsor of the club, KTZ, is the same as Russian Railways with the Moscow Lokomotiv. That is, there is money. If it worked out, like Vova Beschastnykh did, when the club was simply closed, and you won’t find any ends, this is one thing. And here the reputation of Kazakh railways is at stake. And for such a company, it costs a lot.

Don't you regret that you didn't heed the Beschastnykh's advice not to go to Kazakhstan?

No, because any football experience is always a plus. We played great, we saw another country. And yet the conditions that were created for us were good. The only negative point is the underpayment, but I think that everything will be resolved safely.

And what interesting things did you see in another country?

Not the best stadiums. It's the twenty-first century, but some arenas fall short of modernity. I saw how people live. It's a different world! There is a capital that is being built up, some buildings are even more beautiful than in Moscow, but all this is somehow uninhabited. They opened a crazy stadium where we played the last few matches. It is like Lokomotiv in Cherkizovo, only with a retractable roof. Astana is a magnificent city, although it stands in the steppe, but two hundred kilometers from it there is a place that the Kazakhs call Switzerland. Greenery, lakes. On the other hand, civilization has not reached all corners of Kazakhstan, people live in the past, as in the USSR.

Finally loaned

Did your family come to you?

Yes, for two months, the benefit of Sergei Yuran was allowed to take children to training. They ran side by side on the playground. But it was still hard for me, because when I played in Samara and Khimki, I often went out for the weekend in Sochi to swim, which contributed to the psychological and physical relaxation. And when there is no such opportunity, it is difficult, despite the excellent living conditions: Titov and I lived in an elite high-rise building, which had everything: a bathhouse, a swimming pool, a large bar.

At the end of the Kazakh topic, I would like to learn more about the unpleasant situation that happened in Turkey, when you and Egor were not allowed into the Cornelia Hotel, where Lokomotiv was based.

When the training camp started in January, we were told at the club that you were supposedly foreigners and we would invite you to the second training camp, because we would watch youth. But even later we were not called, and the team flew away. The agents advised us not to wait, because they could get fired for a pass, and Egor and I flew in for our own money, but they didn’t let us into the hotel, saying that there were no empty seats. That is, the team did not even assume that we could come ourselves. The Cornelia staff had the task of not letting us in. But later we still entered the hotel, talked with the new coach - a German. He said that he wanted to see us, but nothing depended on him and he did not understand this situation. By the way, I was told that they showed him discs with Lokomotiv games, but when he accepted the invitation and arrived, more than half of the players were no longer in the team. The club's management explained this by the fact that someone had injuries, someone else had not arrived yet.

What do you associate the ugly act against you with Titov?

The leadership has changed, plus part of the budget for 2010 will go to pay off debts, so four people did not fit into the expenses. Apparently, they decided to break contracts with those who are not needed by skipping fees. Although it was possible to calmly sit down at the table and find a compromise.

You said that financial turmoil began in August. The desire to play did not disappear even then. Did your hands drop?

We were fed breakfast, but we did our job, although, of course, our hands fell. When the guys left after the season, some of them didn't even have money to get home. The players borrowed to leave.

Nobody borrowed from you?

There was a case, I had to help a little, but it's okay.

Was the money returned?

Not yet, but promised. So what to do? When people are really bad, it is impossible not to help out.

Have you ever borrowed money yourself?

There are situations with the purchase of housing or a car, when you know that you will receive money under the contract, but later. You take two or three months. I remember that Vlad Radimov lent me a small amount. I took money from Yegor.

Why make a purchase now, you can put it off and save money?

If there is a huge desire to buy something now and you know that there will be financial returns, why wait? But this applies more to young people who do not yet have savings, but want comfort. I had the same when I started playing. He spent the last, borrowing for a purchase, and then gave in parts from his salary and bonuses. When my wife and I were building a house, we did not go to stores for things for a year and a half. There was an amount for the necessary expenses, the rest went to the house. It is better to do it right once, to invest and get into debt, than to redo it ten times later.

Didn't want to do long-term work?

Anyway, I had to suspend construction for a year, because there was no financial opportunity. It was at the beginning of 2000 when I left Spartak. Then there were no special savings, because the more income, the more expenses. You cannot deny yourself something if you are used to going to certain stores and eating well.

Never chic

Do you have any idea what you will be doing after your career ends?

I would not want to leave the sport, because we did not learn how to run a business. But if friends offer - I'll think about it. See what you have to do.

Does the example of Dmitry Alenichev, who chose a political career, not inspire you?

It's definitely not mine. I don’t want to do what I don’t know how, and where I don’t pull. I know roughly how Dima got there, and I prefer to do what I love. And not work for someone.

But Alenichev was not dragged into politics by force.

A man was offered, and he could not refuse out of the kindness of his soul.

Did he see the makings of a politician when he was a player? In general, did you expect Dmitry to work in this field?

I don't think we have any of those things. Although there were examples of successful political careers among athletes who completed performances.

You said you don't want to be a coach, but do you see yourself in football?

I won’t become a functionary, but I don’t mind doing some work closer to the team. Maybe I will become an assistant coach, or someone else. But I don’t want to be a head coach - it takes a lot of nerves and health. Some people get heart attacks, some people have strokes. It seems that they are still young, but they already have heart problems. See what emotions the mentors have, what experiences. Pay attention, for example, to Leonid Slutsky, how he screams, what kind of eyes he has. I'm an emotional person and can't handle that kind of stress.

You don't seem emotional enough to run up the curb and scream.

This is such an appearance. I just became much more restrained, because times have changed. Previously, there were “fathers” in the teams who could shut anyone up by the knee, but now it’s time for democracy, and the coaches have a different attitude towards the players. There is no such thing as someone walking and kicking. Therefore, I became calmer and more balanced.

The other day I was in Tarasovka and saw Oleg Ivanovich Romantsev. He still sits on the bench, watches the training process and smokes.

The last time I talked to him was last year at the farewell match that Lokomotiv arranged for their players. The team of stars played - the Russian team. There were many former Spartak players, and he was the head coach of our team. When we see each other, we always say hello. We have no antagonism. Although I can not say that we are friends. Oleg Ivanovich has always been a closed person. But as he was the best coach in Russia, he still remains.

Yegor Titov, unlike you, decided to end his career. Have you discussed this with him?

We talked, of course. He has his own vision of the future, he is an independent, ambitious person, so I will always support him, no matter what he decides. Although Titov could easily have played for another two or three years, no suitable options were found. If Khimki hadn't called me, I would have hung up my boots too.

You are not afraid of the post-football future, because the financial well-being of the family will suffer. Surely you know how many veterans live, how hard it is for them?

It is necessary to prepare psychologically for this, and there is nothing to be afraid of. It must be understood that a career will end sooner or later, and large incomes will stop. You need to look for yourself in another business in order to earn and live a normal life.

Yegor Titov initiated you into his future plans, what does he want to do?

He has certain ideas, but so far this has not been made public. This is to some extent connected with sports, and now Egor is working on this option.

How did he react to your decision to continue your career in Khimki?

He congratulated me, called me well done. We have no jealousy towards each other. We have been friends for a long time, and then, we had no thought of ending our careers together.

Were you not afraid to go to Khimki, knowing what the situation was in the team last season?

No. I know Vladimir Strelchenko, Alexander Tarkhanov, Evgeny Bushmanov very well, so there was no fear. If the team was led by someone else, maybe I wouldn't go. We talked with Strelchenko, and I was convinced that we still need to play football.

Did he give you financial guarantees?

At my presentation, it was said that we would live within our means. None of the guys have exorbitant contracts.

Who in your family is responsible for budget planning, financial expenses…

When it comes to serious purchases, we decide everything together, and we buy products together. But, for example, utilities are always paid by the wife.

Do you have a monthly budget that you try not to spend above?

There is no such. We do not save, although we do not seek to squander money either. I have been playing football at a serious level for twenty years, so I want to live a normal life. Do not bury money somewhere in the ground, but use it.

Why don't you want to start a business? For example, to buy a house and rent it out, because there is no need for special education?

If at one time we knew where to invest, we would do it. And so I think every player has some kind of property that is worth or rented out. I also have it, because I did not live to spend money on pleasure and entertainment, but thought about the future.

Was there a period in your life when you were chic?

No, although it all depends on what you consider chic. For example, buying a car for a hundred thousand dollars or just throwing money away by buying unnecessary clothes are two different things. To show off is to go to the Cote d'Azur and spend thirty thousand dollars there. And if you have earned and bought yourself a good car that you dreamed about, this is a necessity.

« Spartacus» need to get better

How do you like Spartak's selection this season?

To be honest, it's not impressive, only Suhi can be noted, and then he was rented. Drincic and Sheshukov went to the club for free. Spent only on Ari. With such a sponsor, I think it was necessary to buy at least three, and in the main team, and not for the bench.

Is this a selection defect?

The coach is also responsible for this. If the team goes half a season with a bang, no one will even hint that there were few purchases. Apparently, they could not agree or waited a long time, then to take it for free. Because now, in a crisis, everyone is trying to buy players cheaper, to rent, but it’s better for nothing.

Oleg Romantsev said that he was optimistic for this season, that it would not be a miracle for him if Spartak became the champion.

We have been waiting for this since 2002, but it is not enough just to believe. See how many teams are vying for gold, unlike in previous years. It is good, of course, that Oleg Ivanovich sees the future, and God forbid that he is not mistaken, but judging by the first rounds, it will be hard. Including because of the short bench.

There are a lot of young people in the team now ...

Youth is excitement, emotions, but not stability. In my time, we were recruited from the reserve one or two people at a time, and we grew gradually, but now they take four or five players in a crowd and want them to give results right away. This doesn't happen. Remember, Vladimir Fedotov, when no one was bought for him in the team, put four or five young players on the match, and they performed successfully in several meetings on emotions. They say to the coach - what a fine fellow, pulled up a good Spartak youth. And then, when the guys failed due to the recession, Fedotov was abruptly removed.

He became a hostage of the situation.

Yes, because no one was specially bought for him. At that time, the situation was not very good, when the management considered that it was necessary to manage on their own.

Who do you like from the current Spartak youth?

Take Jeannot, for example. The player is wonderful, but at the moment he is not a main team player, although it is clear that the guy has good technique, data ... But take the European cups in which Spartak will play now: rubber guys with dark faces come out there, and try something with them to do something. You won’t get out here on one technique, you will simply be crushed. For success, more confident and experienced players are needed. At some point, you can shoot, but it is unrealistic for a young player to play four games in the Champions League. We follow the youth and want to see Russian guys in Spartak, and not six foreigners in the starting lineup, as it is now.

But so far, it is foreign players who are pulling the team.

Because they want results. If there is a problem in defense, then a foreign footballer is bought who will stand firmly on his feet.

Robson was taught to run by skinheads

You once even said, comparing the legionnaires of your generation and the current one, that Robson ran faster than Welliton.

Yes, he really ran very fast and would not have lost in speed to today's Brazilian.

Did you visualize it?

Yes, we see everything and can compare. Of course, I didn’t play with Welliton, but Robson became one of our first Brazilians, and it was harder for him. Now, after all, a whole diaspora is in Spartak. And before, “Maximka” used to run around Sokolniki from skinheads. Fortunately, his speed is good - he always ran away.

That is the secret to the success of his speed.

- (Laughs). Yes, he faced different situations. It was hard for him, then skinheadism flourished in our country.

And if you technically compare Welliton with Robson, who is stronger?

Football was a little different. Still, Spartak played more in a combinational style, and now it is strong, aggressive. But when Robson came to us, he minted a tennis ball so well that then the big one forgot how to fill it (laughs). And he needed a year to adapt, to get used to the football that we played then. In terms of plasticity, Robson is clearly the leader, in running, in the Brazilian manner, too. Welliton is more of a power forward.

In the game with Zenit, it seemed that the Brazilian diaspora was pulling the blanket over itself, sometimes ignoring other players who were in a better position.

I didn't see this match in its entirety. I managed to watch only the first half an hour, and then we flew away from Turkey. But in principle, I think this is a normal situation. When legionnaires are invited, they expect more from them than from their guys. Therefore, they must stand out and work off the money they are paid.

If we talk about Valery Karpin, when you played with him, did you feel the makings of a coach in him?

No. Valery's character was not tough, he laughed at everyone all the time, teased. He had a little arrogance, of course, but not hostility towards someone, although he tried to keep his head above some, because he felt a leader in himself. Such moments now appear in the coaching field. Those who knew him immediately noticed it.

When was the last time you spoke to him?

At last year's tournament, when the veterans of Lokomotiv of the 90s were seen off.

Have you thought about your farewell match yet?

I'll tell you a secret, Yegor Titov and I talked about this. We want to make joint wires. We will have a very serious and interesting project, and not just a match. True, now Yegor will have to wait for me.

Maybe you will play again until the Spartak stadium is completed, so that you can arrange an unforgettable show for the fans in the new arena?

It will be built in three years, everyone will have forgotten about us by that time (laughs). You need to leave while you are remembered and loved.

Are you kidding? Who will forget such legendary players? When else will Spartak have players who can win so many league titles?

We look forward to the victories of our team, but it will be very difficult to do.

If we return to Spartak, it is no secret that the most problematic line of recent years is defense.

For example, when Shtrantsl was brought in, he didn't impress me at all. There was a lot of criticism against him. Here is Jiranek, a solid footballer. Although it's not only the level of defenders, it's just that football is now very fast, attacking. Increased competition and skill of attackers.

How do you like the start of the season for Spartak - the first two rounds?

It can safely be called unsuccessful. It was about the same game against Dynamo, as Karpin later said: the game was equal ... By the way, I think that this expression is wrong, the coach should talk about his team. In St. Petersburg, they were impatient. This was frustrating, because at least three points had to be taken at the start.

To « Wings» I have no complaints

Do you follow the Wings of the Soviets and their problems? Still, the team is not a stranger to you.

The situation, of course, was not simple, and I do not understand what is happening there. How can such a serious company as Rostekhnologii achieve something like this? It seems that a solid financial structure has arrived, one of the largest in Russia, there were trips to Inter, signings with Pirelli, other PR moves, and now it’s unclear what is happening. After all, the players have not been paid since August, neither wages nor bonuses, plus there were last year's debts. What happened, accumulated over the years. There, apparently, there was no support from the governor of the Samara region. And I am very glad that our first leaders extended a helping hand to such a region, because Samara has always lived for football, and those who were there understand what this sport means for the Volga people. When the team wins - the whole city is in beer. I don’t know what will happen in a year, but of course, it’s hard to do something with the debts that have been voiced.

Wings and you have financial debts. How are things with them?

We agreed with the Samara club, and on Thursday I wrote to the dispute resolution chamber that I withdraw my claims against them so that they can declare the players.

Titov recently said that Wings of the Soviets should have ceased to exist. What is your opinion?

The team had problems, but their solution was constantly pushed back and huge debts accumulated. But personally, I am wholeheartedly in favor of such a club, with a name and traditions, to exist. I keep in touch with Adzhindzhal, Oleg Ivanov, Fedoseev, with people from the leadership.

How are they feeling?

It was decadent before the season began and they were promised to repay some interest, and part to delay at the end of the year. Because no one now will find the amount that has been accumulating for a year and a half. Therefore, the team did not approach the season well enough, plus the ban on adding players, and hence the two lost starting matches.

What do you think about the expansion of the transfer window? How good is this for our football?

This is a one-time action and the leadership of the league, I think, will warn the clubs that this will not happen again. If the teams do not provide financial guarantees before the next season, they will not be allowed to the championship. It's just that the RFU went to extend the window due to the fact that at the very top they decided to lend a helping hand. Plus, Moscow got into a situation where the players were left without work just before the season.

That is, everything will be done in advance, so that if a team is not allowed, its place could be taken by a club from the first division.

Yes, because they prepare the budget in advance. If such a situation as with the “Wings” repeats, then it would be better if fourteen teams play in the Premier League. Or they will do four circles, as in Scotland.

Hiddink taught to win

- I would like to talk a little about the Russian team. Are you a supporter of inviting a foreign specialist or would you like a domestic coach to take the helm?

I am exclusively for the Russian mentor. All conditions were created for Hiddink, he received seven million euros, and at the same time, we accidentally, with the help of the Croats, reached the European Championship.

Doesn't the success at the Euro justify the financial costs of Hiddink?

I do not detract from the achievement of the team. The Dutchman liberated our guys, made them believe that they can do everything, but I'm not sure that Advocaat will give the same result. He might behave differently. So I don't know who would be the best candidate right now.

Everyone was pleasantly surprised by how Hiddink managed to prepare our team for performance in the final part of the European Championship. Will the Russian specialist be able to repeat this?

It's all about the atmosphere in the team. Hiddink presented himself, made the players treat him with respect, and plus - the luck that was passed from the coach to the guys. They felt confident that they could win.

Which of our specialists is able to inspire the same confidence in the souls of our football players?

There are coaches who have gained good experience abroad, for example, Gazzaev and Semin, and there are those like Slutsky. By and large, his only achievement is CSKA reaching the quarterfinals of the Champions League. And this is an excellent result, since none of our coaches has brought the team to such a level. His next task is to win the championship of Russia. And when he feels the taste for victories, and the fact that he has outgrown the level of the championship a little, then he should be put on. I think that in a few years Slutsky will be the number one candidate.

RFU President Sergei Fursenko loudly announced that Russia should become world champion in the near future ...

They also talk about the transition to the autumn-spring system. I think this is nonsense, because the people who advocate this have not played or run in the mud themselves. In general, I would start the championship not in March, but in April. See what the fields look like now. Of course, it is convenient to sit in the VIP boxes and watch the players swim in the goo. I have a negative attitude to artificial turf - this is not the same football. And what is it like for the fans to sit in the cold? Who will go to such football? And then, CSKA and Zenit proved that our clubs can perform well in Europe. And Spartak and I also left the group and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup.

|Football and airplanes

Once such an incident happened to me: my agent told me to come to see Southampton for two weeks. I was in Bulgaria and decided to fly via Moscow. For about forty minutes we circled over the capital's airport - landing was not done because of bad weather. The plane was shaking so much, and it was so scary that sweat just dripped from my forehead. I remember that I felt so bad - my head just fell apart, which was already on the drum: we fall or we don’t fall. The woman sitting next to me was all white with fear. We tried to land, but the plane did not hit the runway: I look out the window - there are a hundred meters left to the ground and then we sharply soar upwards. We flew to another airport, but they didn’t accept us there, we had to go back. Sat down just a miracle.

In general, there are many stories associated with aircraft. I remember Valera Kechinov was very afraid of flying, Igor Ledyakhov too. They literally clung to the seat with their hands during takeoff and landing. When the plane was shaking, they just started to panic. After all, football players are not allowed to drink strong drinks, there is nothing to relieve stress.

I myself am already so used to constant flights - we made voyages forty times a year, that I don’t pay attention to it. If every time they are afraid, the heart would not have survived for a long time. Therefore, I sit down, as in an electric train, take light reading: magazines, newspapers, crossword puzzles, and go about my business. But serious books are somehow not very good for me on the plane. It is not always possible to focus on them.

The legendary Italian Paolo Maldini, for example, has one less. Tikhonov miraculously retained the love of fans even of those teams that he left ...

In November 1999, the captain of Spartak became, according to Sport-Express, the best player in the Russian championship. A little younger than now, the Sport-Express correspondent went to Tarasovka, near Moscow, to make an interview with the winner about life and football. I remember Andrei Tikhonov sitting in an armchair with boots in his hands: after the conversation, training was waiting for him. On Sunday, he will lace up his football shoes again: Tikhonov is waiting for the last official match in his long career ...

There are not too many players in football who, even when moving to another club, continue to be loved by the fans. One of these players was Andrei Tikhonov. Biography this player has 10 trophies as part of Spartak, but he became a legend of the Moscow club not at all because of this.

Tikhonov Andrey Valerievich was born in Korolyov near Moscow (then Kaliningrad) on October 16, 1970. At the age of nine, he began to take his first steps in football, training in the football section of a local club. "Pennant". Tikhonov's first mentor was Viktor Konstantinovich Fomenko, whom the ex-footballer considers one of the most significant people in his sports career. Already at the age of 16, he began playing for the Labor Reserves and played there until 1988.

Andrei Tikhonov in the army

When Tikhonov was 18 years old, he went to the army. By his own admission, he was not going to “mow down” from the service and hoped to get into the sports company, given the performances in the "Labor reserves". But, no matter how he looked for his name in the lists, football player Andrey Tikhonov did not find himself among those enrolled in the sports company and, by distribution, ended up in Internal troops. The service was held in Novobiryusinsk, where is Andrey Tikhonov two years guarded the prisoners. During this time, the football player had to go through a lot, and once he even tried dog barbecue. According to Tikhonov, it was precisely the service in the army that made him the person everyone now knows.

Tikhonov was demobilized two weeks before the deadline. The football player, who by that time had risen to the rank of head of the guard, fell ill with jaundice, and the command of the unit decided to send him home ahead of schedule. After demobilization, Tikhonov was going to work as a loader, but his wife insisted that he return to football.

Tikhonov football player of "Spartak"

In the summer of 1992, football player Andrei Tikhonov played for the Moscow Region "Titanium", for the match of which he came with a double of Spartak Oleg Ivanovich Romantsev. The coach of the main team of the "red-whites" was impressed by the performance of the young midfielder, and he wanted to take him for a trial. After brief negotiations with the management of Titan, Tikhonov moves to Spartak to begin the most successful period of his career.

After moving to Spartak, Tikhonov played for some time as an attacker and as part of double "red-white" he scored 77 goals in 77 matches. Since 1993, Romantsev began to involve him in the game as a basis and, soon, Moscow fans had a new idol - a football player Andrei Tikhonov. "Spartacus" in those years he was the undisputed leader of Russian football, and Tikhonov became one of the main players in that brilliant team.

Since 1995, Tikhonov has been transferred to the left flank of midfield, and since then he has been an indispensable player in the main team. Together with Dmitry Alenichev and Ilya Tsymbalar, he forms the main shock backbone. In 1996, Spartak for the fourth time becomes champion of Russia, and the football player Andrei Tikhonov, according to the results of the season, is recognized as the best player in the championship. In the same year, he scored 16 goals for the Red-Whites, including a goal against "Alania", which became gold for Spartak.

Toward the end of the nineties, Tikhonov becomes not just a key player in the "red and white", he becomes a symbol of "Spartak" era of Romantsev, which was perhaps the most successful in the history of the club in terms of trophies won. Among the many football qualities of Tikhonov, the ability to score goals in the most important matches stood out. His distinguishing feature was a shot into the near corner, which is very difficult to reflect. Goalkeepers always answer for this goal area with their heads, and in most cases the players hit the far one, because with an accurate execution, such a kick is almost never taken. But Tikhonov hit in the middle, which was often unpredictable and made the goalkeepers make mistakes.

In 2000, football player Andrei Tikhonov had a recession and the idol of Spartak fans began to play not as confidently as everyone was used to. Soon, on this basis, contradictions began to brew between the football player Tikhonov and Oleg Romantsev, which ended with the fact that coach expelled club legend from the team. By that time, the Spartak mentor had almost absolute power in the club, and he could make such decisions, practically, alone. After quite a bit of time, the leadership of the "red-whites" admitted that Tikhonov's expulsion was a mistake, but by that time it was already too late. In 2006 Andrei Tikhonov was recognized Footballer of the Decade in Spartak.

After Spartak

After leaving Spartak, Tikhonov managed to play in the Samara Wings of the Soviets, Khimki and the Israeli Maccabi from Tel Aviv. Since 2008, he acted as a playing coach, and in 2011, ten years later, he returned to Spartak, where he played his farewell match. It happened on September 18, 2011, when the Red-Whites played with "Wings of the Soviets". On the day of the last game for the Moscow club, Tikhonov was 40 years and 337 days old.

Trainer Andrei Tikhonov

The legendary Russian footballer is married and has two sons: Mikhail and Denis. Andrei Tikhonov's wife - Nadezhda, was always there and supported his desire to make a career as a football player after serving in the army. After the end of his sports career, the ex-midfielder entered the Spartak coaching staff, but did not stay there for long. In 2013, together with Shchelkovskaya "Sparta" he became the silver medalist of the championship of Russia among amateur clubs.

On June 2, 2014, after the contract with the Red-Whites expired, Andrey Tikhonov joined the Krasnodar coaching staff, assisting Oleg Kononov.

On June 14, 2016, after a meeting with the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, it became known about the appointment of Tikhonov as the head coach of Yenisei. According to Andrei Tikhonov himself, the Krasnoyarsk club has every chance of getting into and gaining a foothold in the Premier League. “The main task is to unite them and move forward systematically, without stepping over steps.” - quote "Arguments and Facts" Tikhonov. - “It is very important that your team not only knows how to play football, but also keeps the kick well.”

The son of Yenisei head coach Andrey Tikhonov, 18-year-old Mikhail, followed in the footsteps of his legendary father and in August 2016 made his professional football debut in Barnaul in the Russian Cup 1/32 final match against the local Dynamo. Namely, with the help of Mikhail Tikhonov, the guests scored the third goal - the Krasnoyarsk team won 3:0. so, it is quite possible that under the guidance of an experienced father, a new talented football player will grow out of him.

A footballer in the past, Andrey Tikhonov rarely talks about his personal life. However, some facts about his family are still known. Andrei Valeryevich earned his popularity in the world of football thanks to the game for Spartak Moscow. Today Tikhonov works as the head coach of the Wings of the Soviets team.

Personal life

Tikhonov met his wife before the army. After two years of service, Andrei and Nadezhda got married. When Andrei decided to leave the sport, Nadya did not support him and advised him to continue his career. In 1998, the couple had their first son Mikhail, and a few years later Denis was born.

Today, the eldest son of Tikhonov plays in the Wings of the Soviets team. In an interview, former football player Andrei Tikhonov said that in his personal life, the support and love of loved ones comes first.

Biography

Andrei was born in the small town of Kaliningrad near Moscow on October 16, 1970. He started going to the football section at the age of nine. At school, Tikhonov studied without deuces. Until the age of 16, Andrei Tikhonov was in the Vympel club, after which he moved to Labor Reserves. Upon reaching the age of 18, the young football player was drafted into the army.

Two years later, Andrei returned home and wanted to leave to work as a loader, but his wife persuaded him to continue his football career. Since the fall of 1990, Tikhonov again began to play for Vympel, and then moved to the Titan club.

In the summer of 1992, a series of sparring sessions took place between Spartak and Titan. Coach Oleg Romantsev of the Moscow team liked the striker's technique, and after a few matches he invited Alexander Tikhonov to train with Spartak. Soon Andrei finally left his club and tried on the red and white uniform of Spartak.

During the first season, Andrey Tikhonov proved to be the best scorer in the second division. He scored 22 goals in 23 matches. In 1922, Andrei became the debutant of the main team of the club. In the following season, Tikhonov began to play constantly in the Major League of the Russian Championship.

Closer to 2000, Tikhonov was chosen as the captain of the Moscow Spartak. Andrey has become a real symbol of the famous football club. About a year later, in Tikhonov's football career, one of the most difficult moments came. Due to a number of negative events, as well as a decline in the game, Tikhonov was expelled from the club. The player was invited by the Samara "Wings of the Soviets". At that time, this club successfully played domestic matches. With the arrival of Andrey, the Samara club took the final fifth place and got into European competition. Tikhonov played for Wings of the Soviets until 2004. Then the player took a place as a player in the first division of the Khimki club.

In 2008 Andrey signed a new contract with Wings of the Soviets. A year later, Astana Lokomotiv made a serious offer to Tikhonov. His friends Yegor Titov and Sergey Yuran have already played in this club. In March 2009, Andrei joined Lokomotiv as a captain.

In 2010, Lokomotiv got a new management that refused to pay the debts of the former owner. It was decided to remove the highest paid members of the team from training.

Andrei Tikhonov and his friend Titov went to the Turkish training camp on their own, but the leaders prevented the players from entering the field. As a result of the scandal, the Kazakhstan Football Federation paid off part of the debt. Soon Tikhonov signed a one-year contract with the Khimki club. Then Tikhonov took the place of the playing coach in the "Wings".

After some time, Andrei took a similar position in the famous Spartak club. In 2011, Andrei Tikhonov officially entered the football field for the last time as a player. To this day, former footballer Andrei Tikhonov is coaching, and his personal life is his wife and children.

Andrei Tikhonov is a professional football player, a legend of the Moscow club Spartak. For a long time he was considered one of the most productive forwards of the Russian championship.

Childhood and youth

Born in the city of Korolev in 1970. He immediately went to school, began to be interested in sports, in particular football. The first coach of the young talent was Viktor Fomenko, who noticed a hidden talent in the boy. Under the guidance of this mentor, Tikhonov played his first matches at the Vympel club. Then Andrei was transferred to a local club with a higher rank - Labor Reserves.

An athlete who graduated from school is taken into the army. After training, Andrei is sent to the Krasnoyarsk Territory. There, the soldiers return the "debt to the Motherland" as part of the units involved in the protection of prisons. The commanders characterize Tikhonov as a decent, responsible soldier. Andrey went to the demobilization already in the position of head of the guard.

Personal life

After returning from military service, the guy is engaged in routine affairs for all citizens. He gets a job as a loader, builds a family life.

There is little information about the wife and personal life of a football player. It is only known that it was the wife who insisted on Andrei's return to the sport.

The beginning of a football career

In 1992 Andrey plays in the team of the club "Titan". During the game with the backup team of Spartak, the coaches of the Moscow club pay attention to the technique of the football player Titan. The main mentor of the red and white - Oleg Romantsev invites Tikhonov to the team of Muscovites.

At first, Andrey plays in the backup team. At the end of the first season, Tikhonov becomes the top scorer. In one of his most spectacular matches, he scores 8 goals against the opponent. The fans are delighted, the headlines of the sports press say "Tikhonov is a football player from God."

Golden years, performances for Spartak

Since 1993 Andrey has been playing for the main team of Spartak. He brilliantly plays the first match against Dynamo, and in the future he will remain in the club's leaders for many years. Until 1995, Tikhonov plays the role of the main striker. Then the coach moves the guy to the left flank in midfield.

In the late 90s, Andrei Tikhonov became the captain of the team. By this time, the club has won 8 titles of the domestic championship of the country, 2 cups of the Russian Federation, 5 cups of the Commonwealth. In total, Andrei played 191 matches as part of the red-and-whites, hit the opponent's goal 68 times.

With the beginning of the 2000s, the footballer gradually begins to lose his former physical form, the golden years of his career are coming to an end.

Departure from Spartacus

In 2001, the Moscow club parted ways with their striker, Andrey left to play for the Samara Wings of the Soviets. For "Wings" this acquisition becomes successful. The club is knocked out to the leaders of the championship, takes the fifth line and gets a ticket to the Eurocup.

In 2004, Andrei moved to Khimki, and after a short time he returned to Samara. Then Tikhonov receives a lucrative offer from Astana Lokomotiv. Andrew accepts. At that moment, two of Tikhonov's comrades were already playing in Loko.

But this move turned out to be wrong. The Kazakh club soon has problems with money, they have nothing to satisfy the needs of eminent forwards. Almost all the leading players of the club, including Andrey, leave Astana.

Andrei is again invited to Khimki. As part of the Moscow Region club, he plays 29 matches.

Returns to red and white

In 2011, the coach of Moscow Spartak, Valery Karpin, invites Andrey to Spartak. In the 2012 season, Tikhonov plays for the main team. In the Russian Cup, he enters the game with the captain's armband. He is the first player in the club to enter the field at the age of forty.

The footballer played his farewell match against Wings of the Soviets and even scored an assist. During the break, Andrei was replaced by the youngest member of the team, so symbolically the coach demonstrated the change of generations.

From forward to coach

After the end of his career as a football player, Tikhonov, like many athletes today, begins to try himself as a coach.

At the beginning, he is part of the coaching staff of the Samara Wings. In 2013 he began to train Schelkovskaya Sparta. However, despite the strong support and funding, it was not possible to bring an unknown club to the leaders of domestic football. The team remained in the 3rd division, winning only the Russian Cup among amateur teams.

Later, Andrei Tikhonov moved to Krasnoyarsk, where he works with the local club Enisey, which plays in the first division.
