How to properly assemble equipment for spinning. Proper spinning equipment. Lure fishing

Spinning is a special rod that is designed to catch predatory fish. Any angler should know how to properly assemble a spinning rod. Proper assembly and competent selection of bait is the key to success. You need to pick up a reel, deal with spinners, and also fix it all correctly.

It can be difficult to assemble, so there is a step-by-step instruction with a detailed description of the assembly process. Here are the main steps:

  1. You need to take a set of rings and attach it to the rod. You need to use the entire set, starting with the large ring. The smallest is located at the end of the spinning rod. It is important that the rings are attached to the rod in one line and on one side.
  2. A reel is attached to the rod. There is a special hole for this. As a standard, it is located on the right, but for a left-hander, you can attach a coil on the left.
  3. The fishing line is pulled through the rings and attached to the spool.
  4. Then the swivel is attached. It helps the line not to twist.

The first time this procedure may take time, but in the end, any beginner will get their hands on it, and the process will not cause difficulties.

Coil

The spinning reel is an important part of any spinning. They differ in their parameters, but it is desirable that the coil be as light as possible in weight. A spinning reel is not the only, but the most reliable option. With it, casting and fishing becomes not a very difficult process.

The spool of the reel is where the line is wound. This drum must be smooth and free of any defects. Keep this in mind when choosing a spool in a fishing shop.

When choosing a reel, it is necessary to pay attention to the capacity of the spool, which is indicated in mm., And the number of bearings. The capacity of the spool includes both the amount of line and its diameter. The larger the diameter, the less line you can wind on the same spool.

The number of bearings affects the quality of the reel. Therefore, a large number of bearings is better. The mechanism becomes reliable and moves smoothly, and also has frictional properties.

How to wind a fishing line on a spool

To prevent the line from becoming entangled in a spiral, it is necessary to unfold the rod and wind the line only in this position. The process of threading begins with a tulip, and you will have to draw a fishing line through all the rings. The next step is to secure the line to the spool with a shackle. Tension is necessary for good winding. You can create it yourself or ask for help.

With proper winding, it is important to ensure that the distance from the fishing line to the side is strictly 1-2 mm., No more, no less. You can also buy a device in the store that winds the fishing line.

What to choose: braided or monofilament

Monofilament fishing line and braided line have their advantages and disadvantages. There are supporters of both. It's hard to recommend anything. Let's analyze these types of fishing line separately.

  • Monofilament line. Serves longer. It will not be cut by stones when playing fish. It is inexpensive. Of the minuses, it should be noted that after unwinding it can remain twisted.
  • Network. It does not twist, and therefore it is easier to cast with it. Has more durability. Of the minuses - it costs more, serves less. Can break on sharp rocks.

In any case, both options have their supporters. Therefore, it is worth focusing only on your personal tastes and preferences.

Lures

Lures for spinning are divided into three types. Metal, silicone, wobblers. A huge number of baits confuse beginner anglers. The simplest are metal spinners. They can be oscillating and rotating. Any kind of predator and even simple fish are caught on the latter.

The oscillating lure is better for pike and zander. Silicone lures are a cheap and reliable option. They can be edible and are often used for fishing.

Spinners are suitable only for experienced and professional fishermen.

Gear and equipment

Fans of spinning fishing know how to do it right. Spinning tackle is divided into the following components:

  1. Rods. They differ in class and order. The length of the rod depends on the fishing technique, fishing conditions and casting distance. Action is the flexibility of the rod.
  2. Coil.
  3. Fishing lines.
  4. artificial lures.

Connection of fishing line and leash

To connect the leash to the fishing line, you need to understand several knots. Moreover, each knot is suitable for its type of fishing line.

  1. Water node. It is used to tie the main fishing line and the main leash.
  2. Loop to loop. A loop of thick fishing line is threaded into a loop of thin fishing line. The ends of the latter are threaded into a loop of thick fishing line. The most famous way to tie the leash to the main line.
  3. Blood knot. Convenient for tying lines that vary in length. One end of the line is wrapped around the other. There should be at least 6 turns. Then we return to the beginning and thread the end between the fishing lines. Then wrap the second end around the first. Again we return to the beginning and stretch the end between the fishing lines. We tighten the knot.

The bait is selected individually, depending on the type of fish, as well as on specific fishing conditions. Good anglers have a lure for every species and every situation.

Conclusion

Catching a predator from the shore with a spinning rod is not difficult. But in order to engage in such an interesting and active holiday, you need to learn how to collect spinning rods, as well as understand baits and gear. Fishermen who have experience get real pleasure from such a holiday.

A person who is just going to join the ranks of spinningists has a hard time. At less than five minutes, the angler is immediately bombarded with a huge amount of information, the meaning of which boils down to one thing: buy! Glossy fishing magazines, TV shows, websites, and even future allies are all trying to convince a beginner that budget gear is bad, and without a huge box of the most expensive branded wobblers, the chances of catching a catch drop to almost zero. As a result, a beginner either forks out a considerable amount (and sometimes even manages to take out a consumer loan), or abandons the idea of practicing spinning fishing in general (because he can’t afford it), or begins to think with his head.

I must say right away that the third option is the most difficult, because in the battle of “consumer instinct versus common sense”, thousands of marketers, copywriters, designers and other advertising front fighters are fighting on the side of the consumer instinct. On their side - an excellent education, huge budgets and a fantastic experience of vparivanie and vtyukhivanii. Common sense fights in splendid isolation: it is not surprising that it usually suffers one crushing defeat after another, and the pantry of the spinner and his drawers are filled with a variety of expensive devices.

This article, gentlemen, novice spinningists, is designed to help common sense gain support and successfully resist the pressure of manufacturers and sellers. Below I will tell you about what exactly a beginner really needs and what he can do without - at least at first.

rod

Any glossy magazine will tell you that there are no universal rods, and therefore the best option would be to buy a whole line of spinning rods made of high modulus graphite with SiC guides and fantastic fiber geometry. The price of everything is nothing: from $ 200 for a rod or from $ 600 for a more or less complete set. But you will immediately become a genius of the depths: any movement of the bait, any changes in the bottom topography and every blade of grass will miraculously report itself to the receptors of your fingers, and not one - you understand, not one - even the most careful bite will pass you by.

Nonsense. Complete. Yes, there are no universal rods: there are ultra-light lures and heavy jig, which require sticks with very small and very large dough. The problem is that the average inhabitant of central Russia absolutely does not need both - most of the reservoirs and depths are completely covered with a test of 5-20, 4-17, 7-25 or so. If you do not plan to fish in trout streams or in the center of the Yenisei, this spinning rod will almost certainly be enough for you.

Now about the prices. Yes, of course, St Croix rods, G. Loomis rods or top Japanese brand rods are wonderful, but in fact they will not add anything to your fishing, except for a sense of self-importance and false confidence that you have become much better. A trivial Korean Banax Mega or a budget Shimano Catana will provide you with the necessary dispatch, sensitivity and other performance characteristics at a significantly lower cost. Believe me, the difference between budget and expensive sticks is not worth the difference in price: this money goes to pay for the hard work of marketers. If you focus not on the price tag of your rod, but on fishing, then the pleasure of fishing will be no less.

By the way, on the Russian market there is also a domestic alternative to Mere and Katana - Norstream rods. They are quite good in their characteristics, but not very reliable: repairmen say that Norstreams are brought to them especially often. Another good option is Chinese rods made for the Polish market. At a very reasonable price, these sticks have quite decent characteristics and reliability. The only problem is that you can rarely buy them in Russia.

So, the rod was chosen. The issue price is 70-110 US dollars.

Coil

The picture is about the same as with rods: pay or lose. 500 bearings, diamond spool, built-in barometer, thermometer and bubble meter...

Not needed. In practice, only three things are required from a reel - reliable mechanics, good lubrication and a spare spool. You don’t have to look for a long time - the entire line of Ryobi spinning reels, inexpensive Daiwa or Shimano reels are quite suitable. Many slightly more expensive, but generally very affordable models have a cross-winding system - this is an additional plus. It is also important that the reel and rod are balanced. In order to check the balance, you just need to try to balance the rod on your index finger. The closer the balance point is to the reel seat, the better the tackle is balanced. Everything else - dozens of bearings, minimum weight, etc. - much more important for the seller than for the fisherman.

The price of the coil is 50-80 dollars.

Cord

For spinning fishing you will need a braided line. It has significantly less elasticity than monofilament: in addition, it is softer. Softness is needed for longer casting distances, while inelasticity provides high sensitivity and faster hook transfer.

In my opinion, the best cord for a beginner would be PowerPro - it is quite strong, durable and inexpensive. It is better to take more thickness - this will allow you to release baits from hooks with greater efficiency, and there will most likely be a lot of hooks. Of course, PowerPro is not the only worthy cord: there are many good braids on the market with quite an adequate price. The advantage of this brand is that it is well known to our anglers. True, this is also a disadvantage - PowerPro can definitely be considered the most forged braid in Russia.

Cord price - 20-25 dollars.

Leashes

Remember: leashes are always needed if there is even the slightest chance of catching a pike. And the point here is not the loss of baits - letting go of a fish with a lure or a wobbler in its mouth is at least cruel and irresponsible. As for the rarer bites, this can be experienced: a 100% catch is only in the chilled fish section.

For a completely comfortable one-day trip, you will need at least a dozen metal leashes approximately 5, 7 and 12 cm long (3-4 pieces of each length). Leads made of #1 string, tungsten and metal lead material will do. Leads made of polymers, unfortunately, squint at times. When choosing leashes, pay attention to carabiners - they must be tough and reliable.

The issue price is 3-7 dollars for the whole ten.

Lures

Well, now the most interesting. A set of baits is what distinguishes a real spinning player from a collector of shiny things (sometimes there are 2 in 1).

jig lures

To start, you will need a dozen pairs of twisters and a dozen pairs of vibrotails. Lures up to 5 cm in size are suitable for catching perch, pike is usually caught on 7-15 cm vibrotails, and pike perch - on twisters 6 to 12 cm long. But this is in theory: in practice, the above dimensions are so approximate that they can be neglected . About the same can be said about colors: only experience will allow you to select more catchy colors. Since there is no experience at first, just try to have a variety of lures in your arsenal - a couple of black ones, a couple of milky whites, a couple of dark reds, greens, and so on. It is better to buy silicone at least in pairs - this allows you not to be left without a catchy color after the first hook. Any manufacturer: the main thing is that silicone or rubber is soft and elastic.

For silicone baits, you will definitely need jig heads and offset baits with cheburashka weights. They should be selected based on the length of the rubber and the rod test. Hooks are better to take better, with good sharpening. As for hardening, I prefer a hook unbent on a snag, rather than a broken braid. However, this is a matter of taste.

Spinners

The minimum required set is Mepps or analogues of several sizes. The size should be selected based on the test of your rod: baits, the mass of which is more or less than the test, are unlikely to please you with their behavior. Any colors: if it is possible to purchase a set of "silver + gold + dark colors" - well, no - do not think about it and take the color that you believe in. The main thing is fishing, not a kilogram of spinners in a box.

As for spoons, not everyone needs them and not always, but I would still recommend buying a pair of light narrow oscillating lures from any decent manufacturer - just in case. Spoons are especially good for autumn pike fishing: during the autumn zhora, she prefers such spinners to all other baits. If you plan to fish for asp on large rivers, also get a cast master.

Wobblers

Wobblers are the favorite toy of spinning marketers who will not miss the opportunity to ruin you for a much larger amount than they should.

Remember one thing: the fish are indifferent or almost indifferent to the realism of a stationary bait: this is only necessary to attract a buyer. For fish, play in motion is important, and it is not always as good as the super realistic finish of expensive wobblers. In this regard, you should not listen to advertising promises: it is much more reasonable to use the recommendations of experienced associates.

It is important for beginner fishermen to know how to properly equip a spinning rod. It is known that many trophy predators are caught only on this tackle, especially when it comes to pike, zander or perch. Due to the huge variety of gear and additional components, making the right choice for the right one is problematic. Therefore, before buying a spinning rod, it is important to pay attention to a number of features of such a fishing tool.

Tackle selection

Before you go to a fishing store and buy all necessary goods, be sure to understand the spinning device and consider a lot of important points. At its core, spinning tackle is a special rod on which a reel with tightly wound fishing line is installed, as well as special equipment or bait. When choosing components, you need to buy suitable parts and accessories. Otherwise, the upcoming collection of gear will be unsuccessful.

You should start with the selection of a suitable rod. It is important that it meets certain criteria and characteristics:

  • If you intend to fish from a boat, then it makes no sense to buy rods longer than 1.5-2 meters. If we are talking about coastal fishing, then it is better to give preference to models of 2-2.5 meters.
  • The optimal test load, which is suitable for most existing baits, is 12-15 grams. If the weight of the bait is even less, then you can choose models with a test of 8-10 grams.
  • An excellent solution for all-purpose conditions is a rod with a medium action that only half bends.
  • Models with a rigid top have increased strength. But in order to quickly and effectively respond to a bite, it is important to choose only sensitive tops.
  • The handle of the spinning rod is the most important component of the tackle, because the fisherman is in contact with it throughout the entire fishing process. It is advisable to choose cork handles, although leather or rubber products are also good.
  • The quality of the guides determines the life of the line, so it makes no sense to use parts of dubious quality. Silicon carbide rings are the most popular.

Coil selection

The next step in properly equipping spinning gear is to find a multifunctional reel. Experienced anglers still use inertial models, although adherents of the latest achievements of the modern fishing industry recommend using exclusively spinless versions. In addition, you can also find good multiplier products on the market, although they cannot boast of good sensitivity and an impressive casting distance.

To make the right choice, follow these tips:

  • Choose metal rather than plastic models, as they are characterized by higher reliability and durability.
  • The recommended bobbin sizes are from 2.5 to 3.5 thousand. The coil itself should be of medium size.
  • The coil should have a smooth ride and not creak. When buying, this is verified through manual testing.
  • A good reel has a secure bail and a minimum amount of backlash. To maximize product life, these criteria should play a key role in finding the right model.
  • At least 50 meters of line must intervene on the spool. If this parameter is missing, you will lose the ability to make accurate casts of the bait over a long distance.

When buying a reel, give preference to proven models from well-known manufacturers, as this is the best guarantee of a good reel performance.

For boat fishing or shore fishing can be used both braided line and traditional monofilament line. The latter option is particularly soft and elastic, so it is not always easy to feel the bite of the fish in this case. The appearance of a fish on the hook will be accompanied by a twitch of the fishing line.

If we talk about monofilament fishing lines, then they have such advantages as:

  • Minimum twist frequency.
  • Lack of beards.
  • Good spool setting.

In turn, braided cords have the following advantages:

  • Stronger structure (present in both monofilament and fluorocarbon products).
  • The elasticity of the cord is maintained even under maximum loads. This allows you to use tackle many times in a row.
  • The braid has excellent bite sensitivity.

A variety of fishing solutions can be used as a leash, but the presence of this piece of equipment is mandatory. Due to aggressive behavior and incredibly sharp teeth, predators easily gnaw through any fishing line, and sometimes braids. Therefore, in order to avoid such troubles, it is important to think in advance about buying a reliable leash. Today you can buy the following types of leashes:

  • Rigid. They are made of elastic material, which increases strength and resistance to maximum loads. In addition to the advantages, rigid models also have a significant disadvantage: the fish can notice them in the water, so they are only suitable for pike fishing. By the way, some fishermen make homemade hard leashes based on a guitar string.
  • Semi-rigid. They differ in different diameters and the ability to withstand various loads. Quite durable, but have an unpleasant "memory effect". With prolonged use, they cease to be suitable for operation.
  • Soft. Such leashes are made of fluorocarbon or similar materials. It is difficult to notice them in the water, but the pike easily gnaws through such a leash with its sharp teeth. However, when fishing for less aggressive fish such as zander, chub, asp and perch, these options are justified.

Bait selection

Nowadays, anglers use a huge variety of baits to catch predatory fish. Listed the most promising the following solutions are found:

  • Swinging baubles. The product itself is a kind of plate made of a metal blank in the shape of a fish. Each spinner has a hook or tee, while its thickness is from 1 to 3 millimeters. When posting, the spinner creates a beautiful game that imitates the behavior of a live fish. As a result, the predator awakens an incredible appetite, and he seeks to carry out an attack.
  • Spinners. In the manufacture of turntables, a wire is used on which a petal and a tee rotating in water are installed. When posting, this lure may resemble an insect that has fallen into the water or a fleeing fish. They begin to play beautifully and effectively as soon as they get into the reservoir.
  • Wobblers. They are a highly effective spinning lure that resembles a fish and has one or two tees with a blade in the front. Today in the store you can buy sinking wobblers that sink to the bottom of the reservoir, keeping the horizon only when wiring; suspenders, which are able to descend to a certain depth, keeping the horizon both during posting and after stopping; as well as floating models that can be in the water and then emerge.
  • silicone products. Vibro-tails and other silicone products also qualitatively imitate a small fish with a flat tail. In the manufacture of such models, the popular silicone material is used, therefore, special jig heads or hooks are used for immersion in water. Such baits are effective when performing stepped wiring. In turn, twisters made of silicone or plastic strongly resemble small animals, worms and insects.

Spinning equipment

Once you've got all the parts you need, including a telescopic or pole rod, a quality reel, and more, start building the tackle you'll be able to fish in the future. First of all, it is necessary fix coil on the rod. Here it is enough to unscrew the mount on the handle, and then insert the coil into the reel seat. The mount is placed as tightly as possible, otherwise the coil will simply slip out during aggressive operation.

The next step is to wind the line. This is done as follows:

  1. Starting with a small ring, the end of the fishing line is threaded through all the rings to the spool.
  2. There is a rim on the line laying machine that needs to be folded back and tied around the spool with any line knot.
  3. Then you need to cut off the extra tip of the fishing line on the knot.
  4. The rim returns to its original position, after which you can start winding.
  5. In order for the winding to be uniform and dense, the line at the tip of the rod is carefully held with your fingers.

The connection of the leash and fishing line

To tie a leash and fishing line, you can use common fishing knot. It's easy to make it:

  1. We insert the fishing line into the swivel and scroll through its eye 7 or 8 times.
  2. Insert the free end of the fishing line into the formed loop.
  3. We tighten the knot.

The swivel and carabiner are able to protect the fishing line from unexpected twisting, so they can be called indispensable elements when fishing with spinners. The carabiner is equipped with a clasp, which will allow you to easily change the type of bait in the process of fishing. In turn, the swivel provides reliable protection against twisting of the fishing line, making it easy to install the spinning rod and cast the bait. It also increases the life of the line.

Lure Mounting

There is a wide variety of ways to fix the bait on the spinning gear. Here the type of bait itself plays a key role. For tying silicone products, it is advisable to use a jig head. Such devices can have a different shape and weight category. The weight of the load and the size of the hook are chosen taking into account bait length and water depth.

Among the popular spinning equipment are:

  • Direct connection of the lure with the swivel.
  • Connection by means of a steel or any other leash with increased strength. It is important that predatory fish cannot bite it.
  • Sbirulino is an effective solution for casting light baits, presented in the form of a heavy float.
  • Drop shot. It is a special type of equipment that is more effective for boat or shore fishing.
  • Retractable leash. Allows you to lure fish in the bottom zone.

Operating rules

Before you start fishing, once again make sure that all its components are installed correctly. Only after that, you can make the first cast of the bait, holding the fishing line with your index finger and at the same time removing the restraining arc on the reel. Then the rod is sharply brought back and thrown forward towards the place where the fish can be found. In this case, the finger is removed and the fishing line is released. Casting is done in other ways - it all depends on the individual preferences of the fisherman.

Following simple rules of equipment will allow you to build a highly effective spinning tackle that will provide an excellent catch.

Attention, only TODAY!

Catching pike on spinning is reckless and interesting. At the same time, it is available to everyone, since you can find this fish almost everywhere. But you need to know how to properly equip a spinning rod for a pike so that fishing is comfortable and brought a lot of great trophies and gave you maximum enjoyment.

Best for pike fishing spinning rods fast formation. If you have to fish from a boat or from the bushy and the forest of the shore, you need to choose among rods with a length 1.8-2.4 m. With such spinning rods it is convenient to handle when fishing from a boat, they also make it easy to wade through thickets.

If you have to fish from the open shore, it is better to use spinning rods with a length 2.4 or 2.7, and in some cases, 3m. Such a rod will allow you to make distant casts, reaching promising points.

The more the weight bait used, depth and strength of the current in the place of fishing, the more should be test spinning. Used for pike fishing:

  • spinning rods with dough about 5-15 g- are used mainly for hunting for a medium-sized predator from the shore;
  • spinning rods with dough about 7-28 g- the most versatile, used for both coastal and boat fishing for pike;
  • spinning rods, the upper limit of the test range of which exceeds 40 g- are used mainly for fishing on rivers and reservoirs from a boat.

Once a suitable rod is selected, it must be equipped with a reel.

Coil selection

For pike hunting with spinning, most often used spinning coils. They are easy to handle, and even a beginner can master the technique of casting and wiring with them. At the same time, inertialess machines allow you to work with equipment of any scales, the main thing is choose the right coil size.

You can also use multipliers. These reels are best suited for hunting trophy fish with rigs with large lures. They are durable and can withstand large load during long time. Also due to its power multipliers allow with minimal effort catch fish of trophy size.

Attaching the reel to the spinning rod

coil fixed on spinning through reel seat, which is located in the area handles. One of its elements is screw, which needs to be twisted. Her need tighten carefully so that the coil is securely fixed.

Line selection

The best choice for catching pike on spinning would be braided fishing line. The most commonly used cords with breaking load 6.5-7.5 kg. Such braids are suitable for pike hunting. up to 5 kg. If you intend to catch medium-sized fish, you can use cords with a test of about 4-4.5 kg. To hunt for a trophy pike weighing 7-8 kilograms or more, it is necessary to use a braided line with a break load from 10 kg.

Line winding

Important securely fix braid on the spool of the spinning reel so that it does not turn. This is can be done in two ways:

  • do at the end of the line noose, put it on the spool and glue a small piece of plaster on top;
  • put on loop-noose on the spool, then pass the fishing line through the fixing clip on the side and wind it up.

As a rule, for fishing with inertialess nessesary to use monofilament backing to fill the spool to the end. First, it is wound on a coil monofilament, then a cord is tied to it. After winding is completed, the distance between the braid and the bobbin head should be 1-1.5 mm.

In case of monofilome enough to tie the fishing line to the spool, make 3-4 turns and tie another knot. After that, the monofilament is securely fixed due to its extensibility. Having wound a sufficient amount of monofilament on the spool, you need to tie it to it wickerwork.

Connection of fishing line and leash

There is three ways to attach a leash to the main spinning line:

  • a metal twisted leash or a fluorocarbon leash can be connected using the method;
  • you can tie the main line to the leash with any reliable knot - palomar, uni or clinch are well suited for this;
  • you can make a loop at the end of the main fishing line and fix the leash in it with a swivel or winding ring.

Types of spinning rigs

How best to equip a spinning rod for pike fishing depends on conditions, in which to fish, and sentiments fish. The standard spinning equipment for pike fishing consists of metal leash, to which the bait is attached. This installation is used both for fishing on, spinners and, and for.

Also, when spinning equipment for pike fishing, you can use the so-called spaced apart installations. They are used for fishing with jig baits, their peculiarity is that the sinker is located at a distance from the hook.

Bait selection

Most commonly used for pike fishing:

  • spinners;
  • spinners;
  • silicone baits;
  • wobblers.

Turntables best suited for spinning pike in the coastal zone at shallow depths. They perfectly attract a predator of any size. Models loaded on the axis can also be used for fishing on deep areas, including in the course. Such fishing, as a rule, takes place from a boat, since spinners have poor flight qualities, and it is impossible to cast them far.

wavering spinners remain one of the the most popular lures for pike fishing for decades. They can be used for fishing from the shore and from the boat on shallow, medium and large depths, selecting models that are suitable for weight. An important advantage of oscillators is that they have excellent flight qualities.

silicone fish and on jig heads or spaced rigs - the best way for fishing at great depths. They are affordable, easy to use and still bring great catches. On unloaded rubber, you can catch pike in the coastal zone.

Wobblers- This universal baits that can be used at shallow, medium and large depths in current and still water, choosing the models that are suitable in size, weight, buoyancy and level of penetration. But fishing with them requires certain level of technical craftsmanship, so they are not well suited for beginners.

Lure Mounting

At the end of most leashes for pike fishing is located carbine or clockwork ring for mounting.

Thanks to them, you can quickly change the bait, but they, like any other additional elements, increase the visibility of the equipment and reduce its reliability.

In the case of a string leash, you need to separate the turns of the twist, thread the bait into the loop and reassemble the twist.

From micro baits we move on to large baits. One of these are jerkbaits. Read all about jerk fishing in the lesson material.

Lesson 21

You learned about trolling as a way of fishing from the article of the first stage. In the second stage, we will analyze in detail the tackle for this direction of fishing. This lesson will go over rod selection and recommend five of the best models.

Lesson 22

For fishing with large baits, all elements of the tackle must correspond to it, and the reel is no exception. An article about her correct choice completes the training at the second stage.

Results of the second stage

Let's sum up the results of training at the second stage by passing a simple test exam.

Third stage: all about baits

The third stage of training at the Faculty of Spinning is the longest. And this is not surprising, because it is dedicated to baits, of which a large number are used in this direction of fishing. Some of the spinningists use all their types, someone prefers to move in one direction.

Lesson 21

Let's start the study of spinning lures with the oldest of them - spinners. What they are, how to use them in fishing will tell the article of this lesson.

Lesson 22

About the features of some spinners and other lures to pass through underwater obstacles without catching them. will tell the article of the next lesson.

Lesson 23

One of the varieties of spinners is an interesting bait - a cicada. What it is and how to catch this bait with spinning and more, read the material of this lesson.

Lesson 24

By combining the lure with silicone or a fly, we get a spinnerbait, a rather catchy bait, which, moreover, rarely clings to underwater obstacles. How this is implemented in practice, will tell the article of this lesson.

Lesson 25

The popularity of silicone baits is very high. The article in this lesson provides a detailed classification, indicates their advantages and disadvantages, and describes the scope.

Lesson 26

The most popular silicone lure is the twister. The story about what kind of bait it is and how to catch it is presented in this article.

Lesson 27

We want to continue the conversation about silicone baits with an article about vibrohost. From it you will learn about what these silicones are like, how best to catch and what gear.

Lesson 28

Recently, silicone baits with attractants, the so-called "edible rubber", have become increasingly popular. What are the advantages of this type of bait, and whether they have disadvantages, the article for the lesson will tell.

Lesson 29

Unfortunately, silicone is a very fragile material, so you often have to repair it or even make baits with your own hands. This lesson will help you.

Lesson 30.

In addition to silicone baits, artificial fish are also used in jig fishing from other materials, in particular, from foam rubber. You will find everything about fishing with baits from this material in this article.

Lesson 31

In continuation of the foam theme, we will tell you how to make lures with your own hands and equip hooks and jigheads with them. Details in the lesson material.

Lesson 32

Another jig bait is the mandula. It is used mainly for catching zander, but pike are sometimes not indifferent to this "yummy". To learn how to make a mandala and how to catch it, read this article.

Lesson 33

Currently, fishing with wobblers is the leader among the directions of spinning fishing. Artificial fish made of wood and plastic imitate the movements of a wounded fish so accurately that the predator is easily deceived and provoked to bite. The classification of wobblers is in the lesson material.

Lesson 34

Most spinning players are caught on minnow-type wobblers. What kind of bait is this and what are its features, as well as how to catch it correctly, read the article.

Lesson 35

This lure has several features. The main one is a gurgling sound, because of which the wobbler got its name. What else is interesting in the popper and how to catch predatory fish on it will tell the article of the lesson.

Lesson 36.

Separately, you need to talk about wobblers for trolling. This is what we will try to do in the next article, from which you will learn not only about the choice of the best models, but also about the technique of catching them.

Lesson 37

The use of articulated joints in the design of the wobbler made it possible to obtain additional degrees of freedom for the artificial fish. From the lesson material, you will learn what this achieves in practice and how to implement it correctly.

Lesson 38

How jerks differ from other artificial lures, what differences they have and how they are classified, this article will tell you. In addition, from it you will learn all the secrets of jack fishing.

Results of the third stage

As always, at the end of the next stage of training, we offer to pass a simple test.

Fourth stage: all about spinning rigs

In spinning fishing, not only the correct selection of spinning rod and reel for it, not only the optimal choice of catchy bait, but also how these elements are combined into a single whole plays an important role. Speech in the lessons of this stage will focus on the numerous spinning equipment. Most of them are used mainly in jig fishing, but the game of a spinner or a wobbler also changes from the way the rod is equipped. Good luck in studying the materials of the fourth semester!

Lesson 43.

The study of the materials of the fourth stage will begin with the choice of braided fishing line. Modern spinning is impossible to imagine without a braid, you will learn from the article how to choose the best one.

Lesson 44.

Ultralight fishing stands a little apart from ordinary spinning fishing. Therefore, in some cases, anglers prefer to equip the rod with monofilament fishing line, and in others, braided line. Aspects of the right choice are described in the article for the lesson.

Lesson 45.

We are finishing the conversation about materials for equipping with an article about offset hooks. The material describes their design and varieties, as well as recommendations for their use in spinning installations.

Lesson 46.

All jig installations are divided into simple and spaced. This article will describe various rigging methods in which the bait is located directly next to the load.

Lesson 47.

One of the options for combined equipment is a jig rig. What is such a montage, where it is used and how to do it, you will learn by reading the article of this lesson.

Lesson 48.

A large number of modern spinning equipment belongs to the spaced category. The peculiarity of such installations is that a piece of fishing line is inserted in one way or another between the bait and the load. The most popular spreads are described in this article.

Lesson 49.

Installation that allows you to animate the lure without making rotational movements of the reel and winding the line. After casting, the bait is at one point, and the tip of the spinning rod gives it rhythmic dance movements. You will learn more about the drop shot by reading the material of the lesson.

Lesson 50.

The most popular spaced rig is the retractable leash. The article for this lesson will tell you how to make such a montage and where to apply it.

Lesson 51.

Lesson 52.

The next two rigs came to us about fishermen from the Americas. Let's start studying them with an article about Texas montage.

Lesson 53.

Similar to the Texas and the second American equipment - Carolina. Read about the features of its installation and application in the attached material.

Lesson 54

Unlike the previous pair of rigs in a split shot, the sinker does not move along the line, but is fixed motionless. This can be achieved in two ways, details in the article.

Lesson 55.

It happens that a light bait needs to be cast over a long distance, and the use of heavy sinkers coarsens the tackle and scares the fish away. An article about a bombard, a float for long-range casting will tell you how to get out of this situation.

Results of the fourth stage

We have finished studying spinning equipment. Let's test the acquired knowledge by passing simple test tasks.
