Cheerleading club. Master class “Cheerleading in kindergarten. Features of the organization of classes with children of senior preschool age

It is easy to guess that the word cheerleading came to us from the English language. It means dance and acrobatic performances - as a rule, before and during mass sports competitions. Many people know that almost every football, hockey, basketball team has its own cheerleading team - pretty girls performing incendiary dances and inspiring players and spectators.

In sports clubs, sections, studios of our city, both girls and boys can learn cheerleading (cheer-sport) under the guidance of experienced masters of their craft. There is no mistake here: boys are especially needed in this sport, because lightning-fast rebuilding, pyramids, splits and jumps require strong and hardy participants in teams.

In general, cheer-sport allows you to comprehensively improve physical health: classes have a great effect on flexibility, agility and coordination. This is extremely important for those who appreciate a healthy lifestyle and promote it. Participants and participants receive skills in acrobatics, aerobics, stage movement, and their plasticity becomes confident, polished and beautiful!

Cheerleading is an activity that enjoys well-deserved love from many girls. To stay in shape all the time, you need to follow a few simple recommendations. For example, for each workout, you need to take 1-2 bottles of water to replenish the loss of fluid in the body. To improve stretching, you can perform twine - horizontal or vertical. But before that, a warm-up is performed. Also great are exercises that develop the press, jumping, the wheel exercise and swinging the legs. Their number should gradually increase - but in such a way that it is comfortable. You can keep fit not only in the gym, but also outside it, so walking, jogging, visiting the swimming pool will be a great help. Proper and balanced nutrition also plays an important role. To keep your figure slim and beautiful, you need to give up fast food and carbonated drinks.

At what age can children start cheerleading?

Cheerleading is considered one of the brightest and most spectacular sports in which you can move from ordinary group training to team performances. It is perfect for active and mobile children. You can send your child to the preparatory group as early as five years old. However, classes should be conducted not just by an athlete, but by a cheerleading professional. Therefore, when choosing a section, you should first find out everything about the coach. At the initial stage, children get acquainted with the basic elements and basic complexes. And already at the age of seven, pupils of cheerleading sections go to competitions of various levels. Parents who are still thinking about choosing a sport for their child should not hesitate. Cheerleading is a great way to be in great physical shape and always in a good mood. The team nature of cheer sports promotes the development of communication skills. Cheerleading teams always have a friendly and positive atmosphere. Children try to support each other, and the emotions at the competitions are incomparable.

Types and features of numbers in cheerleading

Cheerleading in our country is no longer just a show from American films. This direction is rapidly developing in all cities, federations are working, there are achievements. Consider the types of numbers in cheer-sport. Cheer is a number associated with the work of the team and is not based on dance moves, but on acrobatic and gymnastic elements. Athletes build their program on lifts, rearrangements, pyramids, jumps. Judges evaluate the emotional message of the number and the synchronism of the elements. Chir-mix differs from chir only by the participation of both women and men. In cheer dancing, the emphasis is on dancing, not tricks. This is where the famous cheerleading pom-poms come into play, and chants and acrobatics are considered inappropriate. Individual cheerleading is a team leader performance that combines gymnastic and dance elements. The most striking detail of any cheerleading show is a group stunt, that is, when a team - most often five people - builds a gymnastic pyramid. In a partner stance, a man lifts a woman who performs elements of gymnastics and acrobatics in the upper position.

Cheerleading is a trendy blend of sports and entertainment. Incendiary dance, breathtaking acrobatic stunts, perky chants adorn various entertainment events, all kinds of holidays and sports competitions.

Cheerleading is a sport for children with different levels of physical fitness, available to all age categories. There are few mass, accessible directions for girls in sports. Cheerleading is about aesthetics, great fitness, lifestyle and leadership development.

Cheerleading comes from America, a country where for more than a hundred years not a single competition has been complete without performances by a dancer-gymnast-acrobato-starter.

In English, the word "cheerleading" consists of two halves: cheer - a welcome exclamation (you can even scream) and leader - one who is able to lead (in a word, leader). The way it is. Who controls the mood of the fans, surprising them with truly circus tricks? Cheerleaders! Who with their chants inspires the participants of the competition to sports exploits? Cheerleaders! Who is always in a cheerful mood and good physical shape? Again they! But our grandparents in the middle of the last century also built intricate gymnastic pyramids and performed daring acrobatic jumps against their background. But this tradition has not taken root. Unfortunately. But fortunately, in our century there is a worthy replacement for it.

Everyone can do cheerleading: thin, plump, full of health and weakened, lively and shy. Physical development, communication with peers, a friendly approach help to identify creative inclinations, leadership qualities, overcome complexes and strive for success!

Cheerleading promotes:

Development of leadership skills

Harmonious development

Building a team spirit

mutual understanding

Cheerleaders learn to make changes, wheels, splits, jumps, learn to compose slogans and chants, learn acting and speech production.

Classes include elements of gymnastics, acrobatics, dance movements, general developmental, drill, applied exercises, jumps; exercises for coordination of movements with music, dance movements, elements of rhythmic gymnastics, choreography, various jumps.

The main purpose of cheerleading in the program of educational institutions within the framework of additional education, in children's sections at fitness clubs - this is the familiarization of children, adolescents, boys and girls with examples of physical, spiritual and moral perfection.

Cheerleading is a team sport. You can talk about a good team only when there is a permanent squad. “I accidentally looked into the gym and wanted to join the training process” - that will not work. Here it is important to create a team, to rally the guys, to achieve mutual understanding in work, synchronism in the performance of movements. In addition to the fact that cheerleading acts as an independent sport, cheerleading teams are created on the basis of kindergartens, schools, colleges, universities..

For initial cheerleading lessons, special physical data is not required, so teams can be formed according to the following age categories:

Children: 5-6 years old

Children: 7-11 years old

Juniors: 12-16 years old

Adults: 16+

Benefits of cheerleading.

Firstly, cheerleading contributes to fairly rapid weight loss and the formation of a harmonious figure (and, unlike fitness, it does not lead to the appearance of hypertrophied muscles).

Secondly, it is an excellent prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular system and the musculoskeletal system (for example, by doing this sport you can get rid of scoliosis at the initial stage), improves memory.

Thirdly, it disciplines, expands the circle of contacts, helps to recover from depression, etc.

With the help of cheerleading, you can organize children's leisure time, as well as interestingly hold sports events and holidays.

Features of the organization of classes with children of senior preschool age.

The organization of classes, the choice of forms, means and methods of training, the dosing of the load are due to the peculiarities of the development of the body of young cheerleaders. Training of athletes is carried out strictly in accordance with their age data, which include anatomical, physiological and psychological characteristics.

For children aged 5-6 years (boys and girls), classes are aimed not only at developing children's motivation for physical activity and improving physical performance, but also at developing personality traits necessary for communication in a group: sociability, emotional stability, independence, courage, self-confidence, self-control, adequate self-esteem, as well as the formation of positive norms of behavior and the foundations of a communicative culture.

Tasks:

Improving the health of children

prevention of postural disorders, flat feet, infectious diseases

Development of physical data: strength, endurance.

Cheerleading at this age contributes to the formation of stress resistance and an increase in the motor activity of children, the development of speed, flexibility, dexterity, coordination, as well as the harmonious development of personality. Regular exercise gives a boost of energy and improves mood, which helps to increase the child's performance and help him learn how to move correctly and beautifully.

Children need to be taught conscious motor actions and the right types of movements to be memorized, as well as to form in children the need for physical activity, the development of creative abilities and leadership skills.

Familiarization of novice athletes with the basic elements in cheerleading should be carried out in several stages, which contributes to the formation of a strong interest in cheerleading.

In order to perceive the staging foundations (rebuildings, formations) of the program in training, it is necessary to widely use outdoor games aimed at developing the speed and clarity of movements, orientation on the site, and the ability to interact with partners.

Given that a motor skill is more successfully formed on the basis of sufficient physical fitness, in classes with children aged 5-6 years, up to 50% of the time should be devoted to physical training. Available means from the program material for general and special training are used with a primary focus on the development of speed, agility, flexibility, and endurance.

The development of agility and flexibility creates the basis for the successful mastery of complex, including acrobatic elements.

To develop flexibility, exercises without objects and with light objects are used, performed with a large amplitude, in combination with exercises that strengthen joints and ligaments.

What is cheerleading and who is it for?

Cheerleading is a spectator sport with show elements. Initially, cheerleaders acted as a support group for basketball players, football players and other sports teams, but over time, cheerleading has become an independent sports direction. In Moscow, many studios recruit cheerleading groups for people with different levels of physical fitness.

Features of cheerleading

The historical birthplace of cheerleading is Minnesota, USA. At one of the football matches, players from the bench decided to support the athletes on the field, shouting words of support and doing light acrobatic stunts. Over time, the fair sex showed interest in cheerleading, and for a long period of time, cheerleading groups consisted exclusively of girls. Today, cheerleading is chosen by both men and women, and complex tricks have been added to rhyming chants and dance moves. There are two directions:

  • Cheer (for girls) and Cheer Mixed (mixed teams) are based on acrobatic elements, tricks from gymnastics. A characteristic feature of this type of cheerleading is the construction of pyramids, rebuilding to the rhythm of music and chants.
  • Cheer Dance Freestyle is a technically complex form of cheerleading. Athletes perform spins, lifts, difficult jumps and acrobatic stunts in the air.

Cheerleaders continue to perform at sporting events, and entertainment events in Moscow cannot do without the participation of acrobats. In addition, athletes participate in city, all-Russian and world level competitions.

How is cheerleading going?

In Moscow cheerleading schools, classes are held in closed groups, which are formed depending on the age and level of physical fitness of the athletes. As a rule, several mentors are involved in the lessons at once:

  • choreographer;
  • stretching trainer;
  • acrobatics coach.

Each lesson in the studio begins with a warm-up complex: running or jumping, working out muscles and joints. After the body is warmed up, the main part of the workout begins. In cheerleading lessons for beginners, the emphasis is on performing a cycle of physical exercises and learning dance moves, more experienced athletes practice tricks and performances. Stretching and exercises for certain muscle groups are completed.

No special uniform is required for training, the main thing is that the clothes are comfortable and do not restrict movement. In preparation for performances, costumes are sewn for all athletes in the studio, and at the final runs, the show program is worked out in a stage image.

Which cheerleading studio should you sign up for?

When choosing which cheerleading school to enroll in, you should start from your own goals. If the desire to play sports is professional in nature, you want to participate in competitions and develop, then you should choose a school where an experienced and titled cheerleader, a participant in world-class sports, teaches. And for those who just want to tone their body, periodically act as a support group at football and basketball matches, classes in sections and courses open at cheerleading clubs are suitable.

When choosing a studio for classes, you should pay attention to technical issues: the training room should be large and bright, all sports equipment and exercise equipment should be in good condition. Cheerleading teachers are required to provide appropriate certificates, feedback on the work of coaches will help you decide.
