The training began with the question: “Do you believe in the supernatural?” At first I was a little confused, and when the teacher Alexander began to demonstrate everything that he promised to teach me, I was completely speechless. A 10-ruble bill turned into a 50-ruble bill before my eyes, red foam balls disappeared and appeared in the most unexpected places, and not in the same quantity as they disappeared. In an ordinary deck of cards, all suits have turned into one. Then this deck began to move in the palm of the magician in the direction in which he wanted. All this time I only had time to lift my fallen jaw off the floor.

And when the rose, made from a simple napkin, began to fly in the air, I began to shiver - I am such an impressionable person.
Inwardly, I already believed in everything supernatural at once, but out loud, suppressing nervous laughter, I could only say: “Alexander, how are you doing this?” (which sounded like “Have mercy, otherwise I will go crazy!”).

Magicians and illusionists are also called the foreign word prestidigitator (from "presto" - finger and "digital" - movement). Today, as many years ago, they delight the respectable public with their sleight of hand and their ingenuity. I must warn those who want to learn how to show tricks: be prepared for the fact that in your life there will be a little less magic than in the lives of those lucky ones to whom you will show these tricks. After all, to learn to demonstrate tricks means to learn the secrets of the illusionist, which he uses in his work, and therefore, to lose faith that the rose flies at the wave of the magician's hand. Think carefully if you want to know the truth. If you still want to, you are waiting for the enthusiastic glances of colleagues at a corporate party, relatives at an anniversary and a loved one on a date. In other words, any modest woman who knows how to show tricks can become the soul of the company, as if by magic.

Focus with "lock"

Unfortunately, I can’t tell you in detail about the technology of each trick that I mastered in the training. Modern magic has its own security system, which was developed by Moscow magicians: all novice magicians, participants in the training, sign a paper where they promise not to disclose the secrets they were taught. As a reward for their silence, they receive a set of "magic" items. So now I can go to Uncle Ilya and surprise him with the teleportation of the balloon and the levitation of the rose. And sleight of hand. I will show him how he should fold his palms (three photos above), ask him to bend his arms and touch the shoulder with the lock. He won't be able to do anything. Then I will fold my hands myself (four photos below) - outwardly very similar. And easily and naturally I will complete the task. Let's be surprised!

Trick with rope

The magician puts a string around his neck so that its right end is longer than the left. He takes the right end with his left hand, and the left end with his right hand and makes a loop on the back of the head. It pulls on both ends of the rope, but it does not tighten - the untied rope remains in the magician's hands.

Focus with two rubber bands

We put a red elastic band on two fingers of the right hand - middle and index. In the left hand we take a green gum. We braid each finger of the right hand with it, except for the thumb (see photo), so that between two adjacent fingers we get a “eight”. Then do this: the palm “looks” at the magician, the magician pulls the red rubber band on two fingers, lowers all four into it, opens them - and the elastic band flies to the little finger and ring finger.

Sometimes even the most ordinary props can become just a fantastic object for spectacular and unusual tricks. This is the same with rope. What is unusual about her? A tightly twisted piece of special fabric.

However, real magicians and wizards are able to work miracles with such an ordinary object. In their hands, it ties and unties itself by itself, burns without burning, hardens to a stone state. It binds tightly, but is untied by the power of thought, it passes through parts of the body. All these tricks with a rope always go with a bang and amaze the audience with their seeming unreality.

The famous trick with the restoration of the rope

Also a very effective trick that requires a little more skill and practice. Its essence is as follows: the magician takes a short piece of ordinary rope, you can lace. Then:

• demonstrates its integrity;
• folds in half and cuts one of the parts, elongated in the form of a loop from the hand;
• the props are torn and in the hands of the magician of his part;
• ties the cut ends together into a knot;
• several magical movements along and across;
• a completely whole rope is pulled out of the trickster's fist without any knots or damage.

Out of the box thinking

This focus is more on the ability to think. Its essence is to tie the rope into a knot without taking your hands off the ends. To begin with, you can offer to do this to any person from the audience. No one will cope, because they do not know the main secret. And it is, in fact, very simple.

The secret of the trick: before picking up the props to perform, you should cross your hands with each other. Now, by returning them to their normal position already with the rope, you can easily tie a knot on it.

Rope in a bottle

To perform the trick we need:

• the rope is not too thick;
• ordinary dark glass bottle;
• public.

Effect: The wizard asks those present to check the props to make sure the rope is real and the bottle is empty. Then he takes one end of the rope and lowers it into the bottle. After that, she is turned upside down, and she hangs on a rope. Violating the laws of physics, the bottle does not fall, and the rope does not slip out of it.

The secret of the trick: with a deft and imperceptible movement, before lowering the rope into the bottle, tie a knot on it. It will get stuck in the neck and will not let the props fall.

Obviously it takes practice. After doing it, invite anyone to do the same, they will fail and this will enhance the effect of the focus.

The magician frankly says that his props are completely unusual, prepared in advance, based on internal metal inserts with magnets. That is, only outside the rope has a normal appearance. Tip 1: If you are going to a party and decide to surprise your friends with your sleight of hand, take more than one rubber band or thread. It can break at the most unexpected moment and it will be a shame.

Tip 2: Before showing the rehearsed in public, show them to an outsider - someone from the family or a close friend. They can notice inaccuracies in the performance and help you not goof off in front of real audiences. Tricks with rubber bands on fingers

Focus 1. "Wandering gum"

Tricks with jumping rubber bands impress the audience no less than other spectacular tricks

Props: ordinary stationery gum.

What focus looks like: You show off a whole gum. Extend your arm and wind it around the ring finger and little finger of your left hand in two turns. Then clench your hand into a fist. The elastic band will lie in a double ring on your fingers. Shake your fist and open your hand. Voila! The elastic "jumped" to two other adjacent fingers.

Focus secret: When you clench your hand into a fist, with your other hand you imperceptibly pull the elastic band over your palm and put it on the extreme phalanges of your middle and index fingers.

Focus 2. "Wandering gum for incredulous viewers"

It is performed in the same way as the previous one, but now on top of the first, leading elastic band, you put on another one, which seems to hold the leading one. The second gum "eights" will fasten all four fingers.

Focus secret: In fact, it does not affect the course of the trick in any way, but only distracts the audience.

Tricks with thread on fingers

Focus 1. "Tangled thread"

Tangle the threads right in front of the audience, and then unravel them in one second. The secret is very simple!

Props: Thick thread or cord about 50 cm.

What focus looks like: Tie the ends of the thread together. Then quickly tangle it on the left open hand between the fingers. The main thing is to do it quickly so that no one guesses that every movement is rehearsed. Then you pull on the “random” part of the thread and it completely falls off your hand.

Focus secret: As mentioned earlier, the thread is not entangled in an arbitrary way, but according to a pattern.

Focus 2. "Endless thread"

This one is very easy to make, but the kids love it.

Props: Spool of thread.

What focus looks like: Standing in front of the children, you find a thread sticking out on your clothes. You try to blow it off or shake it off - nothing works for you. You take it with your fingers and start to pull. The thread stretches to infinity - you are surprised, the children laugh.

Meanwhile, the tricks shown to children lie in the chemical and physical components, i.e. easily explained by science. This allows children to slowly but surely learn some of the laws of chemistry and physics that kids will learn in school in a few years.

Many children love magic tricks. Firstly, these are completely simple tricks that do not require any special devices. Secondly, if you teach such tricks to a child, then he will begin to develop spatial thinking.

How to perform tricks with a rope?

In principle, many magicians have a whole arsenal of tricks built on the use of ropes in stock. They can be tied, untied, threaded through planks. Magic tricks can be simple, or they can be quite complex.

Living ropes. For this trick, the magician needs three ropes of different lengths: 20, 30 and 40 cm. You need to show the children and the rest of the audience ropes with different lengths - long, medium and short. After that, they must be placed on your left palm so that their three ends hang from it. Next, you need to clench your left hand into a fist, and trim all three ends of the hanging ropes with your right hand.

Spectators should see that three identical ropes hang from the fist of the left hand. Then, with your right hand, you need to take hold of the ends of the different three ropes, pulling them out of your fist. In this case, all three ropes should become the same! At the end of the trick, they need to be thrown aside, showing the audience empty hands.

The secret of this trick lies in sleight of hand. It is necessary not only to be able to squeeze different ropes in a fist, but also to arrange them so that two ends of a long rope and one end of a medium one hang down. At the same time, two ends of a small rope and the second end of the middle one should protrude above the fist. It is necessary that the smallest and largest ropes interlock with each other in the middle. If everything is done correctly, then all three ropes will appear the same at the moment when the magician begins to trim their ends.

Magic rope. Spectators need to be convinced that the magician has a magic rope on which no knots hold at all. It needs to be shown to the audience. Several loose knots should already be prepared on the ropes. For reliability, you can tie a few knots in front of the audience. Only the nodes should be at a small distance from each other. After that, the rope must be wrapped around the hand with the words “Alabim-Salabim, Akhalai-Mahalai” and grab the end of the wrapped rope with the other hand, unwinding it. There should be no knots on the rope!

The secret of this trick is as follows. When wrapping the rope around the hand, it is necessary to very carefully and secretly drag each of its upper ends through the existing knots. When the magician begins to remove the rope from his hand, it is necessary to grab the very end that has already passed into the knots. You just have to let go of the rope, as the knots will untie themselves!
