- Your friend Georgy Milanov rarely appears on the field lately. Have you discussed this topic with him?

As I said, I just didn't fit into the team's new game model.

- Tosic joined the team when you were still playing in it. Tell us how it was received by the club?
- He came rather modest and shy guy. Never looked down on anyone. The guys immediately liked him for his human qualities, first of all. Kind, responsive. I have never heard him yell at teammates for a bad game or anything like that.

As a player, he quickly joined the team. I can say that the requirements for players in CSKA are always high. And from the first days of his stay, he proved that he came to the club for a reason. He quickly established mutual understanding with partners, and there were no problems with adaptation.

- Did you communicate with him most of all?
- Of course. We have one language, he communicated with me more than with anyone. When he came to the team, I helped him in any way I could. But I repeat: he got used to it quickly, and my help was minimal.

- What playing qualities would you single out in him, and what strengths Slutsky seen in Tosic?
- Speed and technique, first. Plus, he alone was able to decide the outcome of the match, which he proved more than once. His kick from the left foot is very powerful: when hitting the target, any goalkeeper had problems with reflection. Slutsky used him to the maximum, and he always justified the hopes of the coach. I can say that there are not so many foreign players in the RFPL.

He was a three-time champion of Russia. With you, I won gold twice. Did Zoran tell you that he would like to try his hand somewhere else?
- Not. There was never any talk about this. On the contrary, he personally admitted to me that he really likes it here. Russia is very close to him mentally, and in CSKA he feels at home.

- In your opinion, is there a worthy replacement for Tosic in CSKA?
- CSKA will work with those who are. Now there are promising young people, and, be that as it may, young players will have a chance to prove themselves. Maybe, Main coach knows how to use these players. You can find a replacement for Tosic. Another thing - will it be effective? The coming season will show. But it seems to me that players like Zoran are difficult to replace. This is very high level. I think management will find a way out of this situation.

- Of course it will. Any team faces a generational change, it is inevitable. I really hope that in CSKA it will not be so painful. The main thing is to have time to find replacements in time. And not just Zoran. There are a lot of older players in the club now. Of course, I hope that they will play as long as possible, but the end of a football career is not far off for many. It is very important for the club to remain in the top three, to be in the European Cup zone. Therefore, I hope that those young players who will replace the veterans will meet the expectations of the coaches.

REPLACE ZORAN WHILE VITINHO CAN...

- It is clear that the army club will strengthen. But who is on this moment able to replace Tosic?
- I think Vitinho. He is able to play on both flanks. Golovin plays more in the center. It all depends on what tactics the head coach will use.

- Do you have an understanding of what kind of football Goncharenko wants to put on the team?
- Of course. it spectacular football, with a lot of attacks. And at the end of the season, despite the problems and injured players, the team showed a good result. Next season, I think he will not deviate from his game plan. True, Tosic and Ionov played in the attack. Now neither one nor the other is on the team. Whom he will use instead of these two is difficult for me to predict.

- You work at the Youth Sports School of CSKA. Can you name two or three players who can strengthen the main team?
- It's hard for me to talk about any specific names. There is no doubt that we have talented young people in our school. I train guys born in 2003. Still, it's too early to talk about players of this age. There is one cool young player born in 2000 - Vitaly Zhironkin. I really like the way he plays. I think that next year he will move to the double team, and then we'll see. I really want him to grow up to the first team. In principle, we have enough such players. I gave just one example.

In the upcoming season, CSKA's competitors have become very strong: Zenit and Spartak. How much harder it will be for the army team to fight for high places in the premier league?

The upcoming season will be tough. In addition to Zenit and Spartak, there are also Krasnodar, Rubin with Berdyev, Semin's Lokomotiv. It will be difficult to fight for the first place, to get into the top three. Plus, this year there are 3 teams in the Champions League zone: two directly, the third is qualifying. It will be a very interesting fight for this trio.

Again, I don't know what happened. And the departure of Zoran, of course, will affect the qualifying games as well. I hope we will be lucky with the draw, because there may be problems if serious teams come across. But I think the coaching staff will find a way out of this situation.

- What would you say to the fans of the army club at the moment?
- I consider our fans to be the best. They always support the team, including in difficult situations. I understand the dissatisfaction of some fans when the team leaders who have done a lot for CSKA leave. This is hard to bear.

But today I will ask you to support the club. Now, more than ever, this is needed. Come to the stadium and fill the stands to the maximum. That's probably what I would ask for.
