The best ski track according to the KP rating in the parks of the capital. Go skiing in Izmailovsky Park Ski rental in Izmailovsky Park

Journalists of the Kyrgyz Republic have prepared a small guide to the best places for skiing in the capital. There is not much time left, so you need to choose proven routes.

As it turned out, there are not many official ski routes in the city. They are in 37 parks, but the total length is no more than 120 kilometers (this is about more than three kilometers per park). Each ski track can be driven from end to end in 25 minutes.

Sokolniki

For visitors, there are four rentals at once: in the parterre part on the 5th Luchevoi Prosek, the Main Alley, at the intersection of Pesochnaya Alley and Mitkovsky Proyezd, on the Bolshoi Putyaevsky Pond.

It is warm inside, there is a map of the park with traced routes. There is also a left-luggage office for visitors, where you can hand over ordinary shoes for the duration of skiing.

A track for laser biathlon has opened on the Golden Pond, which differs from the classic one by a shorter distance and the use of laser rifles. In one race, the participant passes five laps (1250 m) and four firing lines.

Pros: There is an all-weather ski track laid by a snowcat, which is used to train professional ski slopes. Its length: 2 km, the total length of the park's routes: 45 km.

Minuses: It is impossible to ride here - tourists use all the ski tracks as paths. Only the all-weather track was fenced with a net from people. I didn’t like the inventory: the boots are attached crookedly, the heel barely hits the ski.

Opening hours: 9.00 - 21.00 (at 19.00 they stop giving skis).

Price: plastic - 150 rubles for 2 hours, semi-plastic - 80 rubles for 2 hours. A session of laser biathlon costs 500 rubles.

"Kuzminki"

The official ski track is quite short: only 3-4 kilometers. But homemade tracks stretch for tens of kilometers!

Several rental points: not far from the main entrance, near the Vlakhernskoye estate, on Zarechye street.

Starting this year, there are biathlon laser rifles for rent to feel like an Olympian, and bicycles with special winter tires.

Encounters with husky dogs are one of the most unusual entertainments of the season. You can get acquainted with them, take pictures, and children can ride on husky-drawn cheesecakes.

pros: there are always the right sizes of boots and skis. You can skate along the paths. There are hills near the ponds! Pleased with the number of additional services.

Minuses: The classic track is completely trampled. There is no backlight.

Opening hours: 9.00 - 20.00 (at 17.00 they stop giving skis).

Price: plastic skis - 200 rubles per hour. Biathlon equipment - 250 rubles per hour. Husky ride - 500 rubles per 15 minutes.

"Sparrow Hills"

Vorobyovy Gory now belongs to Gorky Park. But officially you can ski here only near the observation deck.

The official route stretches for only 3.8 kilometers. There is one rental. To get to him, you will have to pay 300 - 500 rubles (depending on the time and day of the week). The rental point is located in the fenced area of the sports complex.

Pros: What elevation changes! You go from hill to hill. Trails with lighting. There are many amateur tracks - MSU students ride on them on weekdays.

Minuses: The place is clearly not for amateurs, you must be able to turn at speed. There is little space on the official track.

Opening hours: on Mondays from 20.00 to 22.00, from Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 to 15.00 and from 20.00 to 22.00, on Saturdays from 15.00 to 22.00 and on Sundays from 10.00 to 22.00.

Price: plastic skis - 100 rubles for 1 hour + entrance fee from 300 rubles.

Art. m. "Sparrow Hills".

"Izmailovo"

16 kilometers of ski tracks, three rental points. Skating - only along park paths.

Pros: There are long routes: 3, 5 and 8 kilometers.

Minuses: The ski track often crosses walking paths. In this place, there is bare asphalt - you either have to take off your skis or slowly cross the obstacle. Frequent pauses spoil the pleasure.

Opening hours: 12.00 - 20.00 (at 19.00 they stop giving skis) on weekdays and from 10.00 to 22.00 on weekends.

Price: plastic skis - 200 rubles for 1 hour. Security deposit: document or 3000 rubles.

Art. m. "Izmailovskaya", "Partisanskaya".

"Fili"

9.5 km of ski tracks, two rentals.

Pros: The park has three official ski tracks for 1, 3 and 5 kilometers. All of them are of decent quality - regional competitions of skiers are regularly held here. The route goes through picturesque places through the forest.

Minuses: There is no lighting. Due to the fact that the route is laid through the trees, it quickly starts to get dark here.

Opening hours: 9.00 - 20.00 (at 19.00 they stop giving skis).

Price: plastic skis - 150 rubles for 1 hour.

Art. m. "Filyevsky park", "Pioneer".

Bitsevsky forest

The total length of the slopes: 24.5 km, there is a large ski base.

pros: there is a good equipment rental, comfortable changing cabins and lockers for storing things.

Minuses: expensive rental

Opening hours: from 9.00 to 18.00 (at 17.00 they stop giving skis).

Price: plastic skis - 300-500 rubles for 1 hour.

When renting skis, a cup of tea and a wardrobe for things are free of charge.

Krasnogorsk

The track in Krasnogorsk is one of the oldest in the Moscow region. Here, for many years, selections for the World Championships and the Olympics were held. Unfortunately, now the track is not being prepared at the top level, but it’s good for an amateur here. By the way, 12-time world champion Ivan Utrobin rolls her out with snowstorms. By mid-November, the condition of the loops in the forest is satisfactory, there are mounds and branches, leaves. There is no classic track. The lap in and around the stadium is in better condition than the laps in the woods, but decent "Olympic terrain" isn't for every beginner. Unfortunately, there are no ski tracks here either. Therefore, you can only skate. There are paid locker rooms that usually open with the official start of the season, not in November. On the 1.5 kilometer circle, lighting is on until about 19:00. Address: Krasnogorsk, Zorkiy ski stadium, Rechnaya street, 37.

And such loops in the forest

Bitza

A favorite place for Moscow skiers, including because of the location - the track is the most "Moscow". In recent years, she has been threatened by a large construction site, but activists are collecting petitions, which we are talking about. While in good condition circle 2.3 kilometers, which is located outside the Moscow Ring Road. Address: Moscow, YuZAO, 36th km of the Moscow Ring Road.

Romashkovo

A well-known place for skiing right next to the Moscow Ring Road. The abundance of circles (from 2 kilometers to 17) and their great length, interesting and moderate terrain. The stadium has warm changing rooms. There is no lighting on the track. Address: Romashkovsky forest, 58 km of the Moscow Ring Road.

They are located in the forest part of the park. Check-in from the side of the stadium "Avangard". There are no lights or dressing rooms.

Sokolniki

Here the situation is approximately the same as with Izmailovsky Park. There are ski tracks for active rest in more crowded places and more serious trails in the depths of the park, near the cascade of Putyaevsky ponds. This year, Moscow Mayor S. Sobyanin promised to make the track the best for skiing within Moscow. Will hope! In the meantime, they have made the so-called "all-weather ski track" by the park itself. Its length is almost two kilometers. In the evening, the track is illuminated by lanterns. In order for the snow cover to remain in a normal state, the path was fenced off on both sides with a mesh fence. Ski track in the park Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo Another place on the Muscovite's ski map is the park around the old Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo estate and surrounding areas. They say this year they started replacing heating pipes and dug up part of the route, cutting off a couple of loops. But for people who live nearby, the track is still convenient.

Big Lawn of Moscow State University One five-kilometer circle near the main building of Moscow State University. When a lot of snow is prepared by a retractor, the height difference here is used to the maximum, albeit a small one - there is a small drag along Kosygin Street on the track.

Moose Island A giant forest park within the city and even more gigantic outside the Moscow Ring Road. Nothing is specially prepared, but hundreds of skiers walk here and therefore the ski track is quite comfortable and long. There are really remote places, you can see moose and other living creatures. You can drive in from the Golyanovo district, from the Yaroslavl highway and through the Sokolniki park.

Living in Moscow, I never cease to wonder at the paradoxes of the weather. If last year it was not really possible to go skiing due to the lack of snow, then this year it was due to the low temperature of -20-25? Only on the last weekend, January pleased us with good days, which we decided to take advantage of.
Of all the places where you can ski in Moscow, we stopped at Izmailovsky Park, which is the closest to our area. There are no mountains in Izmailovsky pair, so you can only go cross-country skiing. If you want to ski from the mountains, then you need to go somewhere to Uzkoye, Kolomenskoye, etc. There are many such places in Moscow, no less than those intended for ordinary skiing.

Ski rental hours in Izmailovsky Park on weekends: from 12:00 to 22:00, and on weekdays from 14:00 to 22:00. Having reached the Partizanskaya metro station from the only exit, you need to go right across the road. Izmailovsky Park itself will already be there. At the very entrance there is a plan of the entire park, where the objects located here are marked. Number 3 was the “Inventory rental point” (in the photo below, the red dot marks the actual location of the rental).

Logically assuming that there is a ski rental there, glad that it was not far, we moved there. But, having reached the indicated place, there was no ski base there, and there were no skiers in the area either. After walking about 5 minutes ahead, wandering around, we finally saw people skiing. And soon the ski rental itself was discovered. Ski base is located not far from the pond, which is marked on the plan as the Round Pond, we once rode catamarans here in the summer.

The ski rental in Izmailovsky Park turned out to be a small one-story building, in front of which, in a small shed, my grandmother gave out skis. The process of obtaining skis was not so simple. As usual, I paid money to the cashier, took skis with boots and drove off. In the Izmailovsky box office, this process, in my opinion, was somehow complicated.

First you need to go through the main building, where there are dressing rooms and the issuance of ski boots, exit through the opposite door to the ticket office. Here we pay for ski rental, at a rate of 100 rubles per hour, plus a deposit for one pair of skis - 1000 rubles. Passport and other documents as collateral are not accepted.

After payment, with the tickets received from the cashier, go to the main building, where you get ski boots. Well, you get - this is ideally, but in real life my size (42) was not. Before the issuance, people crowd, some, like us, to receive, someone is already handing over shoes, and someone else has not even paid and, out of ignorance, is standing in line. We, as people, have logic, if there is a queue, then you must definitely take a place in it, just in case, and only then find out what and how.

After waiting for 15 minutes and, in the end, lying in wait for the man who handed over my size, we received the long-awaited ski boots. My friend was lucky, she has a size 37, there were no problems with the boots. Having handed over our everyday shoes to the cloakroom, having paid 10 rubles for this, we went out to get skis. Here we were lucky again - we took the last two pairs. Those who were behind us had to wait another 5 minutes until someone handed over their skis.

The area of Izmailovsky Park is 1621 hectares, so there is a place to go skiing here. True, we did not go deep into the forest, we rode around the pond. I didn’t ski for a whole year, I had to remember how it’s done at all, skating and so on. Once even fell on level ground. But skiing is like swimming, once you learn it, you will never forget it again. Muscles, of course, will quickly get tired out of habit, but you will go.

In Izmailovsky Park winter entertainment In addition to skiing, there is also an ice rink and skate rental. They are issued in the same building as the ski boots, the prices in the photo are higher. You can also ride a sled here. We wanted to, but the horse's work day ended right before our arrival.

Izmailovsky park - a good place, where you can have plenty of rest (actively relax), you can even say more - relax your soul. I liked how we spent this weekend. Sometimes you need to get out of the stone jungle, drive yourself, it’s not all the same to sit at the computer at home.

Friends, the weather, which was abnormally warm for January, has finally ended and frosts have come, and with them we are waiting for snow, a lot of snow !!

And lovers of active sports recreation it will be interesting to find out where in Kuzminsky Park there are ski rentals and other winter equipment! Several rentals.

1) The rental point closest to the metro station "Kuzminki" is located at the entrance to the park from the side of the street. Young Leninists and cinema "Vysota".
