Tatyana Tarasova: “Only after my fifth victorious Olympics did my father say: “Hello, colleague.” Tatyana Tarasova: “Without a profession, I am like a fish without water Tarasova Tatyana

The first reason is you, and the second is all your dreams...

Without a doubt, the departure of Evgenia Medvedeva with the scandal was beneficial to many. Let's start, of course, with Elena Vaitsekhovskaya, who did not fail to immediately burst into scandalous articles and throw another mantra at Eteri Georgievna about puberty, one-day trips, jumps, a real woman, a junior coach who does not understand adult athletes, not like Orser. As Orser understands them, we all saw yesterday. The whole country saw.

It was also thrown that Tutberidze was not a warm-hearted coach, did not understand the subtle mental organization of athletes. And that she put on a bad program for Evgenia. Although, as experience with Orser has shown, she simply physically cannot roll out more complex content. Cannot do all jumps in 2nd half. It just can't. She is a human being, not a robot.

Sowing on the fertile soil of the wounded ego of Evgenia and the restrained ambitions of her mother, gave simply magnificent fruits.

The transition was also beneficial for Tatyana Tarasova. What is the benefit of Tatyana Anatolyevna? Of course, in order to look better against the background of Eteri. We all remember her interview after the start of the scandal that athletes NEVER left Tarasova. Of course, Tatyana Anatolyevna always preferred to take an already high-quality someone else's product and refine it, rather than grow her own spruces for 11 years. Although there are many interesting revelations about Tatyana Anatolyevna and her methods from her former students. The same Irina Rodnina, Oksana Grischuk.

Evgenia was supported by some athletes who competed with her. Why not. They also benefit if its results fall.

The third is all your words. I hardly believed them...

We all also remember the words of Tatyana Anatolyevna that Zhenya will be happy at Orser's.

“He is an amazing person, he is the best coach now, he has fantastic people who are ahead of the times for many years. If Zhenya is healthy, she will be happy there, ”Tarasova said on Channel One.

But it turned out that the promised happiness is not particularly there. Orser does not express any words of support in Kik, he does not put on a jacket as carefully as Eteri. He says to his athlete: "Well, don't worry about me." Takes an hour a day. And then sends an invoice at the end of the week. And when Zhenya wanted to talk, he did a great favor, said, well, talk, I'll listen. No soulfulness for you, no interest in you, what you live for, what is in your head now. Eteri had it all. Anytime. And you didn't have to ask. "One family that will always understand and support you," Alina says in an interview. And Zhenya does not know that this is true.

Her family was there. Where the coach would not allow himself to be ridiculed with such programs, ridiculous dresses. Where the coach, pressing her to him at the Olympics in front of the cameras, did not allow them to shout all their emotions and claims and even hatred towards the coach. Where the coach did not let you drive into depression immediately after the defeat. We all remember about "they are both golden, both are worthy." Does Evgenia have such a family in Canada?

The fourth reason is lies. Who is right, who is wrong, you can't tell.

Why is Zhenya so disliked, dear Tatyana Anatolyevna? Not for moving. And not for care. For lies. People don't like to feel cheated. When they tell him in March that the coach and I continue to work. And then it turns out that they started knocking on Orser's door back in February. The decision was made the night after the free skate. On Eteri's birthday, which is symbolic. Why assure everyone that we are with the coach forever? You can keep silent.

They do not like and for ingratitude. Because many have already lived their lives and experienced for themselves how painful it is when you are like this. Like with a thing.

And now we hear from respected athletes and no less respected well-deserved coaches that it turns out that these are people who do not support Zhenya, they are to blame. Of course they are. They dressed her up in ridiculous dresses. They chose this music for her, and could not explain to her every gesture as Eteri did. People put a sign to Zhenya from the shoulder of Kathleen Osmond. They came up with the idea of jumping a cascade, which they had never tried in competitions. When such a task did not exist. And it was only necessary to simply skate cleanly your usual content and go to the final. It was they who spoiled all Zhenya's rotations, developed over the years.

The fifth reason is pain: from the fact that love has died.

Everyone understands everything. That it is no longer possible to restore Evgenia's reputation, no matter how many athletes you ask, who will tell about angry fans. And there will be no relationship like before with Eteri, if you don’t reconcile them in front of the cameras. You will not return back. Zhenya herself throws firewood on this fire with her regular interviews after leaving, where pebbles slip into the former garden. Most of her is simply sorry for how the girl ruined her life, with the light hand of such well-wishers. Probably, at many and hatred has passed or has taken place.

But the most interesting thing is that Tatyana Anatolyevna, and Maxim Trankov, and Tatyana Volosozhar, and Evgeni Plushenko, and Alexei Urmanov understand this. Yes, everyone understands this.

Of course, Zhenya brewed it all herself. But the one who set it on fire is now trying to shift his mistakes onto the people. Instead of being honest with her. What you are doing now is bad. These are not programs, this is not a mood, these are not skates. That's not you. And ask the coach what kind of answer about your athlete I don’t know. What for? It’s easier to write off Zhenya with someone else’s hands. And then say: "Well, what can you do? The people are inadequate. We wanted the best. They sent them to Canada for an internship."

It is not necessary to expose Medvedev as a victim of human dislike and anger people even more in her direction. She made her own decisions. I have already paid for them myself. Let him just keep working with his new coach.

The main thing is to draw the right conclusions. Do not poison the one who prepares good athletes, do not lure them into other groups, do not tell them how bad it is here, do not hang medals around their necks ahead of time, do not inflate their faith in their own genius to the sky.

The sports community is seething - everyone is discussing another round of a long-standing conflict between coach Tatyana Tarasova and figure skater Irina Rodnina. The three-time Olympic champion made an unflattering statement about her mentor.

ON THIS TOPIC

“From time to time I watch what is happening in figure skating. Broadcasts are accompanied by a bunch of different comments that I’m not interested in listening to. Tatyana Anatolyevna at the microphone all the time remembers: who she trained and who she didn’t train, whom she treated well, and to whom - bad. And this is not a commentator's work, it's called stories, "says Rodnina.

“I understand that there is a need to fill in pauses with some interesting stories, a professional analysis of why the judges gave this or that mark should also be present in the work of a TV commentator,” the Business Online newspaper quotes the figure skater.

Tarasova did not remain silent and also spoke about Rodnina in the deputy chair. She is sure that "millions of people write and thank" her for the way she comments on figure skating. Regarding Rodnina, the Honored Trainer of the USSR, in an interview with the Moskva Speaks radio station, noted: “I think that people working in the State Duma have a lot of questions that they must answer to the Russian people. And I will answer for my comments.”

Recall that it is Tarasova who we owe the appearance of many famous skaters. Including Irina Rodnina. She began working with Tatyana Anatolyevna in 1974, already being the winner of the Olympics and a multiple world champion. Tarasova, who was then starting coaching at Rodnina, is said to have honed her skills.

As a result, Rodnina's skating acquired, according to the fans, more artistic expressiveness and imagery. For example, in the free program of the 1977-1978 world championships, Tarasova included two supports with a change of hand, a butterfly jump performed by partners holding hands, a rollover descent from support, and other original elements. It was an unorthodox approach!

At the same time, Rodnina herself, as they say, always considered coach Stanislav Zhuk to be her teacher and mentor. And for some reason, her relationship with Tarasova did not work out. “I don’t know why,” the website says Tatyana Anatolyevna. “I don’t waste time on these thoughts. It’s a long story. But why the relationship deteriorated, I don’t have an answer. I know: in the main thing, in the profession, I didn’t let Ira down. became an Olympic champion. She was before me once, but with me she became three times. I was pleased with her and with myself. "

“Life separated us. Everyone has their own friends, preferences. I think Ira is not a person of my circle,” Tarasova said in an interview. At the same time, Rodnina, in her autobiographical book “A Tear of a Champion”, published by the Vremya publishing house, wrote about Tatyana Anatolyevna this way: “I made this conclusion for myself: I don’t want to swear or be friends with Tarasova. Because swearing is indecent and unworthy. After all, we have lived side by side for so many years. It is simply impossible to be friends. And friendship is mutual respect, acceptance in the person with whom you are friends, not only his strengths, but also his weaknesses. For many years, Tatyana Anatolyevna had the motto "Let's talk compliments to each other. "And I don’t know how to compliment at all, and, naturally, our relationship was purely business."

Today is this great woman's birthday. Dozens of smart, proud and bright guests will gather at her dacha in the village of Buzaevo, among whom there will be not a single stranger. “I don’t invite the right people,” she cuts with her trademark intonation, familiar to the whole country. “Everyone is loved. And if the bosses are also loved.” Worst of all in life, both her father and she herself knew how to please the authorities - so I believe in it unconditionally.

The guests will not be allowed to forget about themselves by the six-year-old poodle Shura, trained by Tatyana Anatolyevna to an absolutely unimaginable degree. "He's a circus," - explains, but at the same time, Tarasova is slightly modest. With me, Shura, contrary to the laws of physiology, galloped on his hind legs in an effort to get candy from the hostess through the entire living room, easily making 360-degree turns. If a poodle had screwed itself into the air and jumped a triple sheepskin coat - really, I wouldn't be surprised. This is Tarasova's dog.

Five days ago, Tatyana Anatolyevna and I did not know each other. Moreover, it could not have occurred to me that one day there would be an opportunity to communicate with her. And that she would cease to be for me only a person from the TV, to listen to which I ran through the whole apartment at the first sound of her unique voice (“Now people in the market recognize me by my voice, look around!” she laughs).

He ran because he knew: interesting, individual, burning her every phrase. And the possibility of dating could not come to mind due to the fact that I did both of my interviews about figure skating exactly 20 years ago. And the first thing I confessed to Tatyana Anatolyevna when I got through was that I don’t understand anything in her sport. All the same, after all, I would have figured it out in the first minute.

The day before, the editor-in-chief gave an idea: they say, you and Tarasova were born on the same day, God himself ordered to try! At first, she, exhausted in recent days by continuous interviews, did not flare up with enthusiasm. But when it came to hockey, and on my part the magic word "father" sounded, the consent was suddenly received instantly. This is how she relates to her family and her roots.

And the very next day, we talked for more than two hours in a stately living room, surrounded by hundreds of photographs on the walls, each of which is historical. Tarasova was worried: "Aren't you cold? It's cool here, like on a skating rink." Lord, even if we were talking on an open rink, I would stop noticing the temperature in the first minute.

And then Tatyana Anatolyevna fed the journalist lunch, at the same time sternly answering calls from TV channels with a request to talk about Evgenia Medvedeva: "We'll talk, but remember - not a "turn", but a "turn"! I was lucky - for more than two hours Tarasova never got angry at me. It was already an achievement - with my "knowledge" of the subject. But after all, not only and not so much about figure skating, I wanted to talk to her, really...

The most subtle and difficult thing in a conversation with her is her pauses. No - Pause. At such moments you understand what Stanislavsky had in mind. Sometimes they could go on for half a minute. And you never knew if this was the end of an answer or, on the contrary, a turn (not a turn!) of thought before entering something even more important. And he had to feel at what exact moment you have the right to open your mouth. In one of the moments he nevertheless hurried, knocked her out of her thoughts. And even the lack of a well-deserved reprimand does not justify me.

A day and a half later, I watched a film about Tarasova on Channel One. And I realized (however, I had no doubts) about how much I had not yet asked. However, should I complain? The very fact of such a conversation for a journalist is happiness. And the best birthday present imaginable. Not to her, of course, - here I do not flatter myself. To me...

DAD WRITTEN IN THE NEWSPAPER "PRAVDA" THAT I SHOULD BE FIRED

- Did your father ever say that he was proud of you? - I ask Tarasova.

No. What is there to be proud of? In our family, there was a setting - everyone does what they can. At the maximum. It's just right - so what to be proud of? Only after my fifth victorious Olympiad did he say to me: "Hello, colleague."

And my mother didn't appreciate it. We didn't accept it. This does not mean that my sister and I are unloved. Just the opposite. But there was only one praise from my mother's side. Here, at the cottage. She sat in silence and suddenly said: "Tanya, what a fine fellow you are. You built with your own hands such a dacha where we all feel good." It was still alive. And I remembered. And if they were often praised, it would not have stuck in memory.

- Did your father send you to the coaching path? After you have received a serious injury that is incompatible with further skating.

Yes. I was all in sadness, from which dad shook me out. Didn't let it be there for long. I wanted to dance, studied, acted - both in "Birch" and in the Moiseev ensemble. But my hand was like a rag. And the father said: "Go to the rink, help your friends. There are no coaches. Take the children - and if you work well, you will be happy all your life." And so it turned out.

I don’t know how parents let their children go with me. I was 20 years old, the same Moiseeva with Minenkov - 12-13. I was in little white socks, little white slippers "Friendship", in a short dress with polka dots made of chintz. I don’t know where I got such impudence from, but even then I was absolutely sure that they would be world champions. Despite the fact that we only skated on an open rink, they still didn’t let us into the closed ones.

And most importantly, I had a sense of responsibility. I remember the gathering near Rostov-on-Don. There were 36 children, including Vova Kovaleva (future two-time world champion, silver medalist at the Innsbruck Olympics. - Note. I.R.), for which it was necessary to dangle throughout the forest so that it would not disappear anywhere. The food was bad there. And then I went to the building opposite, in the city committee of the party. And along the red carpet she easily ran through the stairs to the main office. They told me: "Girl, where are you going?" - "Where you need to go." And from that day on, they fed well.

The kids around you see it. And something comes to them. They can't give a damn about your fanaticism, your concern for them. And in the end, it’s better for them if they don’t drink draft wine from the age of 14. Because I will be standing near this barrel.

- It seems that you wanted to become an actress, but your father forbade you to do it?

Not an actress. I wanted to enter GITIS as a choreographer. But my father told my mother: "Nina, there were no artists in our house and there will not be." The question was closed. As a result, I comprehended this science in the course of my life. My husband Vladimir Krainev (an outstanding pianist and music teacher. - Note. I.R.) said that I can hear music well. She watched many ballet performances, was admitted to Igor Moiseev for rehearsals. I sat on all the steps in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, watched everything a thousand times, as in the Bolshoi. Something got into me, transformed - in general, I bet a lot. It was and still is my passion. And most of all I miss the fact that I do not put.

I saw the underside of my father's glory. How it works, how it delivers. And how he suffers. Therefore, from the very beginning I understood that this profession is not sugar. But it was so interesting, so exciting! In the same Rostov, my friend Ira Lyulyakova and I opened a skating rink - there was neither a pourer nor a car. And there were only two hoses. And so we cleaned it, poured ice, then rode on it. And so - four times a day. It took an hour to fill one. But we know how hands get cold.

But it was still a very happy life. And there is. If not for the illness and death of my loved ones. This is the hardest moment. But, probably, it happens to everyone, and you need to somehow survive it. I survived. Because I'm alive...

- Really, when you started, all these classic stereotypes like "Nature rests on the children of geniuses", "Clearly, dad helped her in everything" did not cause a temptation to choose another profession?

And I didn't feel it. I just went to the place where from the first day I became needed and happy. Despite the fact that dad wrote in the Pravda newspaper that the figure skating federation, apparently, was stunned that they entrusted the young girl to work in the USSR national team. And it just so happened that I took a couple, which immediately got into the national team.

- Wait, Tatyana Anatolyevna. Dad? About you?

Yes Yes. In Pravda. That I should be fired.

“And you didn’t say anything to him at home?”

What could I tell him? It was his opinion! It wasn't enough for me to say anything to him. He knows better. And what's more, it was probably right. I was a 20-year-old girl who, sorry, didn’t have an ear or a snout in dancing.

IF I DID NOT KNOW WHERE MY ATHLETES WOULD BE COVERED

- I talked the other day with Mikhail Grushevsky, and he compared the complexity of your career with such a great father with Konstantin Raikin.

I didn't want to embarrass my father. It was kind of indecent - to work where dad is. Therefore, I have never been to CSKA. When she skated - in Dynamo, when she worked - in trade unions.

- Dad didn't mind?

There was no mention of this.

- I have always been very interested in the theme of great heredity in sports. Is it from nature? Is the ability to manage people transmitted at the genetic level?

I think that a lot, of course, from nature. Blood is not water. Misha Zhvanetsky wrote to his son: "Son, have a conscience, and then do whatever you want." Because conscience does not allow you to do anything. And the same responsibility that I have from a young age - it didn’t come out of thin air. And from mom and dad. Mom was no weaker than dad. She communicated well with people, everyone adored her. And she did a lot of work with the wives of hockey players, who loved her very much. And how many people she cured of various nightmarish diseases! I didn't feel sorry for myself. Like father and sister Galya. Our whole family is prone to self-sacrifice.

It is not easy. But without this it is impossible. You can't answer for anything. Now is a slightly different time. Other coaches, even almost leading ones, may not know where their athletes are treated, where they spend time between workouts or after them, on the weekends. With me it was impossible. I would go crazy. Though they are abroad, even in the forest - I must know where they are and with whom. I was interested in this not for the sake of interest, but for the sake of the process that is in my head. We were doing the same thing, so I had to know where the person was. Of course it was hard for them. They didn't always want to talk. But they saw that I go crazy if I don't know. And they took pity on me.

- You? Sorry?

Yes. They regretted that I would be covered with scabs and allergies. Because I am responsible for them. And because of this attitude, they are ashamed to work half-heartedly. Still.

- Yes, I was struck by the words of Alexei Yagudin. You came to a performance with his participation, and then he said to you: "For God's sake, do not come to us often. I am not able to give all my best every time to such an extent that it is impossible to get out of bed in the morning." And this is years after the end of his sports career.

They just have a conscience. And they understand: I know what it is to work at 120 percent, and what it is at 30. Although, in principle, they work for Ilyusha (Averbukh. - Note. I.R.) one hundred percent every day. But then I arrived, and Lesha jumped eight triples, and generally led his line from start to finish. I enjoyed it. And they know that if I don’t get it and I see something bad, I’ll tell them. And they don't want to hear it. Better try.

I say: everyone should do everything he can. One person to ride. The other is to teach. The third is to scribble. The fourth is to build a house. And if you put all this together, you get a country.

- About "try". One of the main ideas of the film "Legend No. 17" is that a person always thinks that he can do less than he actually does.

Certainly. The same Natasha Bestemyanova said that she absolutely believed me, that's why she won. The main thing is to believe. And then the person will do more.

Once I brought my husband from the hospital after a major operation. He had a rib cut out, and the recovery process was excruciating. He somehow settled down, closed his eyes - among the pillows on the sofa in his office, where there were two pianos and such energy flew in which all the flowers died. Somehow, maybe for the first time since the day of the operation, he passed out. The mother-in-law entered. She was 85 years old. And then something happened that I remembered for the rest of my life.

She looked at him and said: "Well, son, are you lazy?" Here even I could not stand it: "Ilya Moiseevna, what are you talking about? You see that he is in so much pain, he is all white!" "You," he says, "go to the kitchen, the cutlets are burning." And to him: "Son, can you raise your hand?" - "No I can not". - "And you go to the piano. And today touch it five times. And tomorrow - ten. And the day after tomorrow - fifteen. So, son, your pain will go away in a week." She was a military surgeon. Went through the whole war. At the age of 90, she laid such tables! And he and my dad adored each other. In my opinion, it is not accidental.

- Is it true that every day your father kicked you out a little to exercise even in severe frost? And how much did these executions give you as a future coach?

Truth. And this is not an execution. Dad was ahead of his time. And I knew that I was capable. I saw how I run, jump, how fast my legs are - not like now. And I did what he thought. Of course, what child will first do it with pleasure?

- Did you cry?

No. We weren't supposed to cry. Even when they could hit, it’s impossible now, but it’s okay, it’s supposed to hit for lying. No, not dad. Mother. And with charging - it has become a habit. You run, you are cold, and dad looks from the balcony and says: "We must run faster - and it will be warmer." Even on New Year's Eve, even on a birthday. For me, then on December 31, finishing training at 22.30 was no problem.

- Did you celebrate birthdays?

Always and stormy. It was accepted in the family. Friends were sure to come. First there were grandmothers, grandfathers - now great-nephews ... There is a photograph - Mila Pakhomova and I. We have been very good friends since childhood. And we always celebrated holidays together.

First, they set the table for us. Then - Galya and I to dad and mom. And then - again to us ... Then Gali, mother, died. But I still bring my mother's old friends to my birthday. So it will be. Last year, 70 people came to me here.

DAD WERE EXECUTED BECAUSE HE DID NOT SUPPLY THE GAME TO THE CZECH IN SAPPORO

- Talked to Scotty Bowman once. He called himself a student of Tarasov.

Yes Yes. He even glued his father's gloves - or rather, the remnants of them - to his hands when he went to training. What a documentary the Americans made about dad last year! He won all the awards there.

Overseas, people understand and appreciate everything about him. It's happy, but sad. I remember Galya and her father went to Boston, I had already worked in America. There was a gathering of professional trainers, 500-600 people. And dad was invited there. He limped a lot and walked with a crutch. But he decided that he would go on stage without a crutch. We were very worried. The door opened and he went. Like an air cushion. The whole room stood up. And stood for forty minutes. Galka and I cried like never before in our lives. Dad was wearing a white sleeveless shirt so that his stomach was not visible. And here he is - and all these outstanding Canadian coaches applaud him. Then he quietly, quietly seated them.

That was the attitude. And we have terrible envy. Damn those leaders. For the fact that they turned off dad from the Super Series-72. I have photographs where he negotiated with Khrushchev long before that about games with Canadian professionals. It was the meaning of his life. Brezhnev brought his father to Khrushchev, and dad said: "We can no longer just train. Believe that we will win."

And then he was suspended from work at the age of 54. And it was a ban on the profession. He never worked as a coach again. It doesn't fit in my head at all. We then had an apartment - like this room, and my mother and sister felt sorry for him so much ... Creatures. They killed him.

- Who exactly?

Party and government leaders. They have already intervened in the sport - and walked there, telling who to train and how. They considered themselves stars. And years and centuries are not measured by them.

- A fatal role for Tarasov, albeit not immediately, was played by that match with Spartak in 1969, when he took CSKA off the ice under Brezhnev?

No. Then only the deserved one was removed. I have seen him cry twice in my life. One time when we crashed in a car with him. I had a traumatic brain injury and my head has been hurting ever since. I was seven years old. And the second time - when the well-deserved was removed from him. He fell straight onto the bed and cried. Never ever.

- Even when he left after the Olympics in Sapporo?

Yes. Everything happened there. I heard that they, these leaders, asked him to hand over the last match to the Czechs, when we won the tournament two rounds before the end, and we no longer needed anything. And the comrades-in-arms in the socialist camp had to be helped to get ahead of the Americans and take the silver. They refused with Chernyshev, the team won, the USA became the second, Czechoslovakia - the third. And then there was the massacre. I just started in Sapporo, I arrived there with my couple. And dad, it turned out, he finished there.

- Did he show how hard it was for him to be out of work?

He told me: "Don't look back, daughter, you have to look ahead." But we are still on the same thread. They loved each other so much that it is impossible to even speak. Yes, sometimes they got angry at him. But it normal. And everyone understood, and everyone felt.

Our press did not understand the significance of his figure. Or didn't want to understand. He himself wrote a lot and to the point. He has written more than 40 books - and hundreds of articles. And it seems to me that journalists and commentators felt a sense of jealousy towards him. When I started commenting now, I feel it too. Whom he warmly treated was Uncle Bora Fedosov, who organized the Izvestia Prize. There is my favorite thing hanging on the wall. A friendly caricature in which my father is a conductor, and around all the famous hockey players. Uncle Borya gave this.

When my dad and I entered the Sports Palace (and at that time it was not shown on TV at all), the hall, which consisted of different people - army, Dynamo, Spartak - got up. The fans understood everything. Journalists don't. They all wanted to teach him.

- Why did the tandem Chernyshev - Tarasov achieve the highest results in the national team?

Am I a professional at this? Dad is a practitioner. And he was mainly engaged in training work. Not only the army team, but also the Dynamo and Spartak players were brought up on it anyway. Arkady Ivanovich had other functions. But dad and Kadik found a common language.

Kadik?

Yes, that's what he called it. Chernyshev's wife's name was Velta. And they had a very good relationship with dad, no matter what anyone said. Families met, drank and ate. They drank wine from glasses. Yes, from glasses! And Arkady Ivanovich treated me like a native. I'm a dynamo. And his sons are like family to me. We are children of the same generation. Tarasov and Chernyshev have graves nearby.

- In Lillehammer-94 your father arrived in a wheelchair a year before his death.

Yes, I've been there. Torvill and Dean asked me to come to Lillehammer with them. I looked at my father with Galka ... Yes, he would still live and live if our doctors had not introduced a fatal infection to him. Purulent sepsis. And his suitcase was packed to go to the World Cup. They killed him. At 76 years old.

Tatyana TARASOVA. Photo by Alexander FEDOROV, "SE"

SAID MENSHIKOV "THANK YOU". HE UNDERSTOOD WHAT THE PAD IS FOR A PERSON

- A couple of years ago, I talked with one of the scriptwriters of "Legend No. 17" Mikhail Mestetsky. And he said: “Tarasova was at the premiere. And she said to the director Nikolai Lebedev: “Don’t be offended, but if I don’t like it, then I’ll get up and leave right in the middle of the show.” Was there an urge at least once?

No. You know, so many absolutely ugly films were made about my father ... In one, my mother drinks without eating. Dad always acts like some kind of beast. And I really said it. That day I got a call from Nina Zarkhi (film critic, head of the foreign film department of the Art of Cinema magazine. - Note. I.R.) - and she generally said: "I will not go." And she said: "My friend was in the morning at a journalistic show. You can go. Go quietly."

And Misha Kusnirovich said: "I do not insist on anything. I only ask you to come to GUM with me." And I listen to him. Because he is the person with whom communication can be considered a great happiness. And smart, and talent, and kindness. By the way, as a sign of love for Kusnirovich, I decided to celebrate my birthday in his Olympic uniform. And now we do not understand at all in whose hands it is given. We all loved his uniform, it was our sign. For many years the most beautiful and brightest went. We always start to change something from the very best. Would recommend them to do something else. As Zhvanetsky said, something is wrong at the conservatory.

- In the end, you still went.

Yes. I didn't even wear special clothes, I came as is. And I am very grateful that I experienced ... this. Strange feeling. At the end I was afraid to even look at the screen. I felt like my dad was here. This is called the great power of art. Honestly. I even had it twice. The second - when we went to Sochi, where the Russian junior team watched the film before the World Cup, and Putin came there. And again, this state returned to me for a few seconds. I couldn't sleep at all. I had such a connection with my father.

I'm sorry they didn't contact me. I knew that they were filming about my father - and I found a lot of photos. I think that it was possible to make it absolutely similar. After all, Oleg Menshikov has in his face what his father had in his youth. I have one photo where there is just a very big resemblance. But they called when they were almost done and invited me to the set. She asked: "Why? Everything is done for you. I won't go."

But it is not important. Because in the end I told him (director Lebedev. - Note. I.R.) called and thanked. And Menshikov too. Apparently, he just realized what kind of person dad is. But by and large, no one has ever been interested in this. Each of his cells was sent to serve the flag. And for him, this is the Fatherland, and this was not invented. This is how we lived.

We tiptoed around the house. Because dad was in state business. We felt and knew it. Mom told us about this, although dad himself never did. He wrote, wrote, wrote all the time. And we couldn't disturb his silence.

- Despite the fact that, according to your old words, "although our father is famous for his tough temper, we are not afraid of him."

And so it was. He didn't put any pressure on us. Only if you come to the dacha, he immediately - a shovel and in his hands. "Dig!"

- Did you communicate with him on professional matters?

For our part, no. Who talks about work at home? But he had some rationalization proposals, and he went - to Galka, to me. Infused into our lives. He came to birthdays - with his pickles, jams, boiled pork. Everyone adored him. And he adored Vova Krainev, his company. Everyone sat around him - and Vovin's friends, and mine, and athletes.

He spared nothing for us. I didn't go to the shops, though. Didn't quite know what they were. I could buy two boots for one foot. He gave his daily allowance to hockey players, he said when he dismissed them: "Tanka - red, Pebble - blue, Ninke - white." Then he brought, without even looking: "This is for you." The details didn't interest him. All the scarves were the same, mohair. As if they made one uniform for everyone! ( laughs) But we were well off. We had shoes.

I always tried to bring him something. He said: "Daughter, why are you spending money? Although ... very comfortable." He had a jacket, a happy coat - such a short one. He put it on for all matches, like me - a fur coat. And the shirts are white. And usually something - in training. We were always dressed in CHS - pure wool. Even in winter, even in summer. They lived without frills. But we had everything.

- Have you ever been struck by something?

Once brought four suitcases. Galya and I are generally out of whack. We think - now we will dress up from head to toe! Especially since we had serious plans for the weekend. We open. And then there are white mushrooms. Picked up in Finland. Four suitcases. Mushrooms must be cooked. Two days without bending. Cleaned, boiled, marinated, salted, twisted...

We took pity on him, spoiled him, of course. He was an unpretentious person. But, of course, the fact that they were excommunicated from work ... I also came from America, spent ten years there, prepared three - ours, mind you - Olympic gold medals. And I was 58 years old. But they didn't hire me either. They didn’t give a skating rink, they didn’t make a school. No, I don't compare myself to my dad. Because dad is the whole planet. But it seems to me that even in relation to me it was irrational.

She was born on February 13, 1947 in Moscow. Father - Tarasov Anatoly Vladimirovich (1918-1995), an outstanding strategist of the Soviet school of hockey, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Honored Coach of the USSR, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. Mother - Tarasova Nina Grigorievna, teacher of physical education. Spouse - Krainev Vladimir Vsevolodovich, People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of the State Prize of the USSR and international competitions, professor at the Hannover Conservatory.

Tatyana Tarasova's father - Anatoly Vladimirovich Tarasov - made an invaluable contribution to the development, formation and gaining international recognition of domestic hockey. Starting from the first hockey seasons and ending in the mid-1970s, for almost 30 years, he was at the helm of Soviet and army hockey and was the undisputed leader among hockey coaches.

A.V. himself Tarasov played for the teams: Air Force MVO (1946-1947), CDKA, CDSA (1947-1953). As a player, he was the champion of the USSR three times (1948-1950), spent 100 matches in which he scored 106 goals.

He began his coaching career back in 1946, during the season leading the team of the MVO Air Force. From 1947 to 1975, he was the head coach of the Central House of Culture and Sports, Central Sports Academy, CSK MO, CSKA - USSR Champion 1948-1950, 1955-1956, 1958-1960, 1963-1966, 1968, 1970-1973, 1975, winner of the USSR Cup 1954- 1956, 1966-1969, 1973.

In 1958-1960 and 1962-1972 A.V. Tarasov is the head coach of the USSR national team. It was under the leadership of A.V. Tarasova and A. I. Chernyshev, the USSR national team won nine world championships in a row (1963-1971) and three Olympics (1964, 1968, 1972), eleven times became the strongest in Europe (1958-1960, 1963-1970).

Tarasov was not an ordinary coach. No wonder his school was studied and is still being studied both in Europe and overseas. Definitely a personality. Enormous energy, creative search, outstanding flair for the players and the ability to squeeze everything out of them in the game to the maximum. He chose the best unmistakably. And just as unmistakably, he created links in which each, complementing a comrade, became a star.

Those who saw him during the competition will surely remember his fiery gestures to his players, his tiger-like pacing along the bench.

“In sports, you should never stop,” Anatoly Vladimirovich said. “When the rivals are equal, the result may turn out to be random. You have to be a cut above. Only then can you suppress, defeat, destroy any opponent. I love my guys very much. demanded of them what no one else could ever do."

According to the observations of another outstanding Soviet coach Alexander Yakovlevich Gomelsky, A.V. Tarasov was a very difficult, tough coach: "He broke people, but with this breaking, in fact, he was able to create unique characters."

In 1977, in Artek, during the children's "Starts of Hopes", Anatoly Vladimirovich constantly spoke to the pioneers, and one of these performances involuntarily turned into a training session: right on the pavement, skinning his knees and elbows to blood, the children, together with the hockey luminary, were spinning somersaults, she ran with a barbell, jumped over the benches, and if at that moment Tarasov said that he had to jump into the sea and swim to Turkey, everyone would swim, including counselors, and just spectators ...

Today his daughter Tatyana Tarasova She is almost as famous as her father. She is called a person obsessed with the profession. She has trained 11 Olympic champions, her students have won a total of 38 gold, 15 silver and 5 bronze medals in the highest class competitions, including 6 Olympic gold medals. Among her students were Irina Rodnina and Alexander Zaitsev, Irina Moiseeva and Andrey Minenkov, Natalya Bestemyanova and Andrey Bukin, Marina Klimova and Sergey Ponomarenko, Pasha (Oksana) Grischuk and Evgeny Platov, Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergey Grinkov, Ilya Kulik, Alexei Yagudin.. .

She fell in love with sports since childhood, went to her father’s training, and when his students won hockey championships, she rushed to the TV screen and kissed everyone. At the age of 5, her father brought her to figure skating: "If she was born a girl, then at least she will learn to stand on skates." He raised her harshly, like a boy. “I will never forget how at one time our sweet and gentle mother, on the orders of her father, every day at seven in the morning and in any weather drove me and my sister Galya out into the street to do exercises,” she once said Tarasova. “In my opinion, dad could not understand for a long time that he had two daughters, and not two sons.”

Ride Tatyana I started with Lyudmila Pakhomova, later a famous figure skater, the owner of all conceivable titles in figure skating. We studied at the Stadium of Young Pioneers. Then they were considered not very capable skaters, but excellent actresses. However, the father was categorical - there were no actresses in the family and never will be. At his insistence Tatyana went to the Institute of Physical Education (1964-1969), although she dreamed of studying at GITIS as a choreographer.

Paired with Georgy Proskurin Tatyana Tarasova won the World Universiade, but on the threshold of 19 years, due to a serious injury, she was forced to leave the ice. Then, perhaps, for the first time she realized that without figure skating it would be very difficult for her. One fine day, she informed her father that she decided to become a coach, and began to work.

The girl bravely undertook to train masters of a rather high class. In her first group, Elena Zharkova and Gennady Karponosov were engaged, Tatyana Voytyuk and Vyacheslav Zhigalin, Sergey Volgushev, as well as beginners Irina Moiseeva and Andrey Minenkov. Father never praised Tatyana. This was not accepted in the family. And then he chuckled incredulously, and publicly, in print: first, she would have to tinker with newcomers, gain experience. But Tatyana proved that this responsible work is within her power: at twenty-five she became the Honored Coach of Russia, and at twenty-eight - the Honored Coach of the USSR, the youngest in the country. The only assessment of his daughter’s work came from the lips of Anatoly Vladimirovich only after the victory of Klimova and Ponomarenko at the 92 Olympics in Albertville, when, turning to his daughter, he said: “Colleague” ... And for Tarasova, this was already the sixth Olympics (!) And third Olympic gold medal!

Of course, her father always helped her with advice. He liked to give his daughter beautiful thick notebooks and demanded that she keep scrupulous records of her plans, draw invented sports exercises. However, these notebooks were mostly empty, because his daughter's talent, bright and generous, has a special property: it has an impulse, not logic. She is looking for the beauty of spiritual impulse in figure skating. And it is from here that her selfless courage and disregard for dogmas and canons stem.

The complete absence of pragmatism gives her courage and audacity where another could be satisfied with considerations of cautious common sense. When Rodnina and Zaitsev asked her to be their coach, she was both very touched and very alarmed. Her position was also difficult because they came from such a major specialist as Stanislav Zhuk.

The world is used to the fact that Rodnina and Zaitsev are fireworks on ice, pace, complexity, storm and onslaught. In all countries, dozens and hundreds of duets are prepared in their likeness. It would be logical to work with them to develop the already found images. Logical and calm. The experiment, the search for something new, was a risk, the consequences of which are immeasurable - which of the audience, in love with this glorious duet, would forgive Tarasova for his failure?

But she understood that the athletes did not come to her to repeat the past. She knew that they, the exacting artists, who entered the time of their sporting maturity, longed in their hearts to reveal themselves, their spiritual world even more deeply. And for this we need new techniques and colors.

Among other things, Tarasova I wouldn’t be Tarasova if I didn’t dare to take risks. She immediately proposed to these two a new solution for the short program, based not only on lifts, jumps and spins, but on the fact that each step and gesture fell on a note and sang along with the music. The program to the melody, specially written by the composer Alexei Mazhukov, caused a lot of dissatisfaction and bewilderment: what, they say, is ballet here? Rodnina later admitted that they simply did not cope with what she wanted from them. Tarasova...

“The most difficult thing in figure skating,” admits Tatyana Anatolievna- selection of music, these four minutes of music, which should shock everyone, torture the soul of you and your student. Because the music is primary, and the program to be skated is secondary."

Another quality inherent in Tarasova. She cannot refuse any of the pupils because, for example, she does not see his sports prospects. All of them are not just athletes for her, they are people close to her, and she generously spends her broad nature on them, taking care of everyone, worrying about everyone, fighting for everyone. She had downturns, there were dazzling ups, and all because her work is driven by passion for the idea and admiration for the personalities of the performers.

Tatyana Tarasova twice left the big sport, and both times it was returned "to the side" by the athletes themselves. They found, called, asked ... For some reason, already established masters, misunderstood or rejected, but still dreaming of big victories, went to her for help. So it was in 1976 with Irina Rodnina and Alexander Zaitsev, in 1992 with Marina Klimova and Sergey Ponomarenko, in 1996 with Ilya Kulik, in 1997 with Pasha Grischuk and Evgeny Platov.

When asked if she was afraid to take "disgraced" athletes, Tatyana Anatolievna once said: “No. I know how to train champions. There are many things that most coaches don’t even know about, and most importantly, there are no trifles in such training. Everything is important: how and where to train, select music, what to go to the start and even what words to say to the athlete at one time or another. But the most important condition is absolute faith in each other."

On the face of Tatyana Tarasova, you can always see how her students ride: she either burns with delight and tenderness, or with unbearable suffering, on him either alertness or bliss.

Only a few coaches in the world have Olympic champions with enviable consistency. Among the favorites are Tamara Moskvina, Stanislav Zhuk, Elena Chaikovskaya, Alexei Mishin and, of course, Tatyana Tarasova. She took part in the Olympics eight times and brought her wards to the highest level six times: twice - Irina Rodnina and Alexander Zaitsev (Innsbruck, 1976; Lake Placid, 1980), Natalia Bestemyanova and Andrey Bukin (Calgary, 1988), Marina Klimova and Sergey Ponomarenko (Alberville, 1992). In Nagano (1998), her pupils got victories in two of the four types of the program: Ilya Kulik became the champion in single skating, Pasha Grischuk and Evgeny Platov - in dancing.

T.A. Tarasova set a record not only for the number of awards collected by her students, she was able to create her own direction in such a conservative sport as figure skating (there are only seven elements in dancing). And almost all the dancers of the planet are now following this path.

In the mid 1980s Tatyana Tarasova Together with Elena Tchaikovskaya, they created the All Stars Ice Theater, whose troupe included many famous and beloved figure skaters. The idea of creating a theater was suggested to Tarasova by her husband Vladimir Krainev. The theater lasted 14 years. Tarasova she performed in it in several capacities at once: she was both a coach, and a choreographer, and a director. During this time, the artists traveled almost the whole world, held hundreds of concerts in London, Washington, Melbourne, performed under the roof of Madison Square Garden.

There are dozens of ice shows, ballets, ensembles in the world, but "All Stars" differed from them in that only here real classical ballet performances were created: "Night on Bald Mountain", "Sleeping Beauty", "Cinderella", "Scarlet Flower" . The repertoire also included the Russians on Broadway series staged by Tarasova, famous Broadway performances: West Side Story, Phantom at the Opera, Cabaret, Chorus Line, Cats, etc.

Now Tatyana Tarasova works on two continents at once - in Europe and in America (unfortunately, in Russia they could not create decent conditions for the professional work of the Master), and she always has two training sessions a day. The first half of the season, from September to December, takes place in the USA. The second - takes place invariably in Moscow. A whole team works with her: athleticism coach Nikolai Morozov, costume designer Natella Abdulaeva, Elena Danilova, who embodies her ideas. Tatyana Anatolievna works today with foreign couples. Among them are Barbara Fusar-Poli and Maurizio Margallo (Italy), Shae-Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz (Canada), Galit Chait and Sergey Sakhnovsky (Israel), Nakako Tsuzuki and Rinat Farkhutdinov (Japan), Alyssa di Carbonnel and Alexander Malkov ( Belarus).

"I will never give up my coaching job, because the happiness that you experience when you work with students cannot be expressed in words."

T.A. Tarasova- Honored Coach of the USSR (1975), Honored Coach of the RSFSR (1972). She was awarded two orders of the Red Banner of Labor, the Order of Friendship of Peoples (1984) and the Badge of Honor (1976).

Her hobbies include cooking.
