Big quarry in Krylatsky. Fishing and sports club sabaneevo On the territory of the beaches where you can swim

SUP surfing in Moscow is already quite popular, but many people have a question, where can I try to ride or where can I ride my own board.

This question is by no means idle, there seems to be plenty of water in Moscow, this is the Moscow River, a diversion canal, backwaters, Yauza, Klyazma, a rowing canal, ponds, lakes. However, everyone knows that it is forbidden to ride on most of these reservoirs. But on which and in what places of the reservoir, few people really know. Even GIMS employees often do not know exactly the laws governing the movement of small boats within the city.

Here, by the way, one more moment. The fact is that SUP is not included in the list of sports of the Russian Federation, and therefore, what is a SUP board, each GIMS inspector interprets as he wants. One will regard the SUP board as an inflatable rowing boat, and the other as an air mattress. Accordingly, the rider will be subject to one or another law. Our club is trying to solve this problem.

Therefore, in this article we will tell you where they ride in fact, i.e. where it is beautiful, clean and inspectors do not touch. And it can take a long time to argue about whether it is legal to ride there or not, given the conflicts of the current legislation and its interpretations. In any case, riding a SAP in Moscow, you need to be prepared to pay a fine of 1000 rubles. for riding in the wrong place.

Let's start with the fact that if you don't have your own board, then there are several rental points in Moscow:

  • River Club, "Scarlet Sails" (our rental, SUP-club) + free test drive
  • In Strogino

There is an hourly rental of boards and training with an instructor.

There are points where you can rent a board for a day and ride wherever you want:

  • SUP club (SUP walks and tours)
  • Serebryany Bor (SUP walks)
  • Nimble Sup (daily rental)
  • Royal SUP (SUP tours)

On the beaches where you can swim

In 2017, 9 beaches were equipped in Moscow in areas allowed for swimming, namely:

  • White Lake in Reutovo
  • Serebryany Bor-3 and 4 beaches, Bora Bora beach (M. Belorusskaya, Begovaya, Polezhaevskaya, Serebryany Bor)
  • Left bank (st. M. Rechnoy vokzal)
  • "Royal bar" (st. M. Water stadium)
  • Meshcherskoye Lake (st. M. Slavyansky Boulevard)
  • Troparevsky pond (st. M. Teply Stan)
  • Large garden pond (metro station Timiryazevskaya)
  • Black Lake in Zelenograd
  • School lake in Zelenograd

Black Lake in Zelenograd is very small, there is simply nowhere to ride here. And in good weather there are a lot of swimmers. You won’t be able to ride on the Left Bank Beach either. At 500 meters from it, the navigable part of the canal named after. Moscow and post GIMS. As soon as a rider catches the eye of the inspector, he rushes on a boat to drive away. No exhortations that there is another kilometer to the fairway does not work.

Our SUP club station is located in Scarlet Sails. Come, it's comfortable here: a restaurant, parking, changing rooms, toilets, showers.

Details about the routes can be obtained from the managers of the SUP club by phone or in social networks.

Our SUP club initiated an initiative for the Department of Nature Management to create a SUP rider card, which would indicate the places allowed for skiing. We look forward to the inclusion of the department in the work on this map.

Report of the tournament on the Rowing Canal

Hi all! I want to tell you a little about the first past tournament from Kaida Fish.

It was decided to meet at 8:00 to start at 9:00.

I arrive at a stop near the Ice Palace at 7:20. Literally after 10 minutes, Maxim and his wife pull up. After some time, Ilya joins us, also with his wife.

Having phoned Dmitry, who was gathering people at the metro, we begin to move towards Gchild canal. Having made his way through a hole in the fence, Gthe canal in all its glory.Surprised by the number of fishermen sitting on the shore.

We had to walk to find a place for our group. We got almost to the very end. After a little familiarization with the rules of the participants, we give 20 minutes to assemble gear and arrange the place. At 9:05 it was decided to start. The weather is gorgeous: the sun is peeping through the clouds, there is almost no wind.Literally in 10 minutes Maxim catches a small bull. Without thinking at all, he lets him go back to his native element. But in vain! After all, it was he who could play a big role in the distribution of seats!

Nikolai gets the first decent fish. We will talk about him separately. A small scoundrel. Participants continue to fish. The bite subsides a bit. A frank struggle of fishing skills begins between Nikolai and Vladimir, who do not allow each other to get ahead. Other participants began to suspect Nicholas of witchcraft. After all, it cannot be that only he bites, and the rest did not even have a bite.

Slaps of massive balls are periodically heard, which should attract fish. Slowly, the wind begins to rise, which, however, does not greatly interfere with the continuation of fishing.

The last hour and a half had been almost fruitless. Nikolay had a hook and he asked the rower to give him, thereby capsizing the rower into the water. This lifted everyone's spirits for the rest of the time.

Time is coming to an end! Almost 13:00. We are already preparing to disperse on different sides of the distance to announce the end of the tournament. Nikolai was in first place in terms of the number of fish: 3 scavengers. Vladimir was behind by 1 fish.

I already raised my hand and was preparing to shout about the end, when I suddenly see Vladimir fighting with another fish. People immediately gathered around him. Having successfully pulled out the fish that falls into, we consider. 3 - 3 for fish! The tournament is over.

Participants begin to collect gear. After the training camp, we all get together to sum up the results. We give everyone a bag for fish. Scales show on Nikolai's package 575 grams. We take the second package and show... also 575 grams!!! What to do?

We decide to pour as much water out of the bags as possible. Re-weighing in front of other participants. Nikolai's catch turned out to be 5 grams more! And he rightly takes 1 place of honor! It's time for the prizes. We're going in a circle. Nikolai gets for 1st place, as well as for the largest fish, which also did not go far in weight from Vladimir's scavenger.

Vladimir received. And since the 3rd place, unfortunately, did not work out (yes, yes, that simple little, released goby), we decided to present the prize to the only girl-fisherwoman in the competition. For the rest of the participants, it was a surprise that small prizes were also prepared for them.

Everyone was happy. Had a great time. Thanks to everyone who was present on Sunday at the Rowing Canal in Krylatskoye!

In Soviet Moscow, there were many places for water sports, on the banks of the Moskva River and the Khimki Reservoir, rowing clubs with boathouses for storing boats bred. The ice had not completely melted yet, and the rowers had already started training. But in order to hold major international competitions, it was necessary to create a modern infrastructure. And by August 1973, for the European Rowing Championship, the Rowing Canal was built in Krylatskoye (architect Kuzmin, engineer Vasiliev).

The Olympic training and sports center "Krylatskoye" is, first of all, the rowing canal itself, 2340 meters long, 125 meters wide and 3.5 meters deep at the start and 3 meters at the finish. Its creators were the architects of workshop No. 7 of the Mosproekt-2 Department. During construction, for the first time in international practice, two channels were made. In the main channel, athletes compete in speed, nestling in their kayaks and canoes, along the second they go from boathouses to the starting point. In principle, both the main and return channels can be used for relay races and marathons.

This story uses illustrations from the portal of old photos https://pastvu.com/. Using the links under the retrophotos, you can go to the site, see the place on the map, read the comments of local historians.

The farthest starting positions were in the vicinity of the then village of Tatarovo, and the athletes finished near the village of Krylatskoye. A grandstand for 3,400 spectators, a sports building with a swimming pool, a hotel for athletes, gyms and a museum of rowing sports were built here. For storage of boats there is a boathouse with nineteen boxes.

When earthworks began in the 1960s to lay the canal, local residents began to prepare to move to other areas. The first wave of demolitions took place in 1972, and during the preparations for the Olympics (1978-1979), the village of Krylatskoye disappeared completely. The consent of the residents to move was not particularly asked, someone ended up in Setun, and someone in Chertanovo.

Krylatsky hills with modern buildings

Garden Association "Rechnik" was established in 1956 on the banks of the Moscow River in the Krylatskoye district opposite the picturesque Serebryany Bor. In the early 1960s, permission was obtained for the construction of outbuildings and houses for temporary residence. Subsequently, country houses became the subject of a conflict: gardeners did not issue permits for capital development. Since 1998, this territory has been included in the protected area of the Moskvoretsky Park, in 2006 the rivermen were warned that their land was not registered as property, followed by checks on the legality of the construction of capital buildings. In January 2010, the demolition of the village began, which caused a public outcry: the owners protested against the liquidation of the village.

Over four decades, over 16,000 sports competitions and holidays have been held on the rowing canal and its territory. The most significant are the 1980 Olympic Games, the Goodwill Games, the annual Great Moscow Regatta.

During the Olympics-80 in Krylatskoye, not only rowers competed, but also cyclists, for whom an indoor cycle track was built, and a cycle path was laid along the hills. Between the canal and the cycle track, archery fields were equipped, now this space is planted with young trees. For the duration of the Olympic Games, several sections of temporary stands were assembled at the finish line of the rowing canal, and the stationary one was renovated and tinted. In 1978 boathouses and a hotel for athletes appeared, a large electronic scoreboard was installed on the island.

Rowing and canoeing

Only a pillar with pictograms - hand-drawn symbols of sports - reminds of the Olympic Games. Such structures were then installed near all sports facilities. Over time, new ones were added to the original pictograms - bowling and badminton.

Not so long ago, wooden benches for spectators remained in the stands, old referee towers along the riverbed, and a scoreboard from the Olympics on the island.

In this form, the Rowing Canal existed until 2011, before the start of its large-scale reconstruction. I do not exclude that Dmitry Medvedev, who was fond of rowing and, already being the President of Russia, had a hand in the transformation of Krylatsky, attended international competitions on the rowing canal as a guest of honor. On June 22, 2014, he watched the kayaking and canoeing "President's Cup" competition.

On August 6-10, 2014, Moscow will host the World Championship in kayaking and canoeing. The stands have already been modernized for this event, a new finish tower has been built, a modern electronic scoreboard has been installed on the island, boathouses are being reconstructed and a hotel is being built. Since the rowing canal is located on the territory of the Moskvoretsky park, the transformations should not disturb the existing natural landscape.

In addition to the actual rowing starts, in different years the USSR championships in water-skiing, the World Championship and the Russian championships in fishing, competitions in ship modeling, aquabike and wakeboarding, mass starts of swimmers were held here (there is such a discipline - swimming in open water). In winter, the surroundings of the canal are used for ski competitions, a skating rink is flooded, and "Winter Games" in table tennis, checkers and chess are held in the halls. The infrastructure of the rowing canal can be used for motor racing.

For Russia, Dragon boat races are an exotic spectacle

Extreme Sports Festival - Adrenaline Games

Rally drivers occupied the Krylatskiye hills many years ago, when they were really extreme races in difficult conditions. Now racers start at the stands of the rowing canal and set off along the turns of the asphalt cycling track, laid for the Olympic starts.

Among the long-term plans is the construction of a canupolo stadium on the island. In Russia, this sport began to be practiced in 1998, although its history began much earlier. English engravings from 1880-1885 show people on boats playing ball with oars. In 1926, the rules for a game called "canupolo" were published in Germany. Then they played in an area comparable in size to a football field, the game time was two halves of 45 minutes, there were eleven players in the team (as in football). Later, the rules were improved, their versions of the game arose in France and Australia.

The presentation of canupolo in Krylatskoye could be seen at the June President's Cup, the game turned out to be quite spectacular and I wanted to learn more about this curiosity. Modern canupolo is played by two teams of five kayaking in a fenced area of calm water measuring 35 meters by 23 meters. The team that scores more balls into the goal suspended at a height of two meters wins. The ball is waterproof, weighing 400-450 grams, these are used in water polo. Game time - two halves of 10 minutes. You can throw the ball with your hands or with an oar, you can attack the player who owns the ball, try to turn his kayak over. From the outside, all this looks quite dangerous, so the athlete’s mandatory equipment includes a protective helmet with a visor and a life jacket. The current version of the rules was published by the International Canoe Federation (IFC, ICF) in 1990.

The match starts with a swim of two sprinters who strive to be the first to take possession of the ball. And then a ten-minute action begins with swinging the oars, passing, throws on goal (which you want to call a basket in basketball). Getting into the goal is not at all easy, the defending side raises the oars, blocking the path of the ball flying at the target. In a power struggle, kayaks can roll over, but the player sits tightly in the boat, and the boat immediately returns to the surface position. By the way, canupolo boats are made using Kevlar, carbon fiber, polyethylene, the bow and stern are rounded and equipped with soft bumpers.

A hundred meters from the return channel of the canal in 2006, a silver "flying saucer" landed. The Dynamo Sports Palace with stands for 5,000 spectators is designed for training and competition in team sports. This is the home ground for Dynamo women's and men's basketball teams, the Dynamo futsal team. The arena can be transformed for tournaments in other sports, for example, for boxing fights.

The recreational fishing and sports center Sabaneevo is located right in Moscow on the Rowing Canal in Krylatskoye. This is a rather convenient place for many Muscovites, since they do not need to travel far from the city, but you can stop by Sabaneevo and fish for a couple of hours, and there is almost always the opportunity to leave the reservoir with a catch.

The Sabaneevo Fishing and Sports Club organizes fishing right on the Rowing Canal in Krylatskoye. The fishing area is divided into Standard, Premium and Master zones, which differ in the size and number of fish, as well as fishing conditions. Separate fishing conditions are provided to club members - they have the right to catch on the “Catch and Release” principle on one bait with a barbless hook, while the rest of the visitors do not have the right to release the fish - all of it is taken and paid at a price of 260 rubles per kilogram.

The recreational fishing and sports center Sabaneevo organizes paid fishing, primarily for trout. Therefore, the reservoir is stocked with a large number of this fish, the size of which is also very impressive. Anglers catch it mainly on spinning rods, as well as on match rods. For spinning, small oscillating baubles are often used, as well as miniature turntables and microsilicone. In winter, trout fishing is also organized here, but at this time it is mainly caught on shrimp or on special trout paste, which are put on a single hook of a winter float or nod fishing rod.

In addition to trout, the reservoir is also stocked with carp, pike and crucian carp, which can also be caught with permitted gear. Basically, carp with crucian carp are caught here on a feeder or float gear, and pike is caught when catching trout on a spinning rod - it is rarely caught here purposefully.

The cost of a permit for fishing on the reservoir of the recreational fishing and sports center Sabaneevo is 1500 rubles per person for the whole day of fishing. However, anglers have the opportunity to take a ticket for a few hours, which is especially convenient on a weekday after work. The cost of such an incomplete voucher is 500 rubles and fishing is allowed for 6 hours.

And now the time has come. Freed from assignments and work. Got out on the Rowing Canal.

Got up early in the morning, took as usual 100 gr. fast acting drug. Went outside and breathed fresh air. Pumped the wheels of a two-wheeled horse (bicycle). And drove along the roads, streets, intersections. Class. Haven't been chosen like that for a long time. I drove up to the Rowing Canal, everything is closed. I was thinking what to do, how to get there, when suddenly the guard says: “Are you fishing?” YES. Missed. Thanks good people. Arrived at the place. And I see that there is a lot of grass, the water is drained.

It didn't stop me. Settled down and started fishing. Two throws. Bite. Scoundrel. One more throw. The bite was until 10 am. All that I managed to catch before 10 is all yours and the fish is good - white (bream, roach, crucian). After 10 o'clock it's something, Perch. He is all the time. That do not quit everything sits down and sits down. There is no other fish besides him. Like I bought a bait for him. Solid perch. Tried everything. Couldn't scare away. So until 13 o'clock I still dragged him and got tired.
