The new Olimpiyskiy will be equipped with a multifunctional arena designed for concerts, sports and circus events, a space for exhibitions and conferences, a multiplex cinema, a children's entertainment center, electronic library, a medical diagnostic center, the project also provides for a planetarium. Moving panoramic restaurants will start working on its roof.

After the reconstruction, the Olimpiyskiy will retain its sports function. In the renovated "Olympic" the swimming and jumping pools will again work, indoor ice rink, gymnasiums, as well as a water park, a diving center, tennis courts, spa and fitness areas, etc. In addition, parking will be expanded, which will make visiting the Olimpiyskiy more comfortable.

In the winter season of 2013, a free outdoor skating rink is again open on the territory of the Olimpiyskiy Sports Complex. This became possible thanks to the support of the project by the Department physical culture and sports of the city of Moscow.

The area of ​​the ice rink is 1,460 square meters. It is located on the side of Olympic Avenue. As before, its territory has all the necessary infrastructure: a warm locker room, a wardrobe, a cafe with light snacks and drinks, toilets, rental and sharpening of skates.

For the first time, an open skating rink at the Olimpiysky Sports Complex was launched last year. During winter season children and adults could not only ride, but also attend classes in figure skating also completely free.

This year, visitors to the skating rink are also waiting free classes with experienced instructors, as well as various sports and recreational activities.

There is a warm locker room, hot coffee and snacks, a free toilet. There are no storage cells, but you can return a bag of shoes to the administrator for free (they give you a number).



Skate rental 200 rubles/hour. It is also necessary to pay a deposit for skates - 1500 rubles or leave a driver's license. Passports are not accepted.

We arrived on Sunday around 3:00 pm. There were few visitors. Ice quality is good. It was snowing and the ice quickly covered up. There is no technical break at the rink - the ice is cleared as needed (about 20 minutes). Naturally, everyone is kicked out at this time.


By evening, more people were added, but there was enough space for everyone.
