Pond or pool on the site which is better. Do-it-yourself pond for swimming in the country. Differences between a do-it-yourself swimming pond and a pool

What are the bathing ponds - types (types)

Two streams with two pumps

The skimmer collects small particles of dirt from the surface of the water in the swimming pool, then, under the action of the pump, the water passes through the filter element with gravel-sand backfill, which traps the remaining dirt particles, after which the plant filter of the regeneration zone by biological method completes the water purification process: a combination of soil substrate, a specially selected community of aquatic plants and microorganisms absorbs substances that are useful for them, but undesirable in bathing water.

A 200 W pump ensures that the surface layer of water is sucked into the skimmer. Small foreign particles that inevitably get into the water (pollen and fallen leaves of plants, insects, motes carried by the wind) are caught and remain in the sump. The same pump also pumps water through a gravel-sand filter, the filling of which consists of particles with a diameter of 2-8 mm, which retain other contaminants.

The second, more economical, 60 W pump provides an optimal flow for water exchange in the regeneration zone, contributing to the full purification of water, and at the same time not eroding the layer of nutrient soil and mineral substrate.

Different plants, different tasks

Aquatic (more precisely, shallow or coastal) plants selected for planting in the regeneration zone should purify water from harmful impurities, carry out gas exchange, maintain the balance of a closed ecosystem and decorate a garden pond made in a natural style. They enrich the water with oxygen, absorbing carbon dioxide and mineral salts dissolved in water, which are necessary for the growth of unicellular blue-green algae, which cause the water to “bloom”, thereby preventing duckweed and mud from overgrowing the pond.

In the ecological community of pond flora, in this case, there are iris, reed, water mint, water lily, marsh flower, highlander amphibian, pondweed, urut, silk grass. All plants are selected strictly taking into account the survival rate and compatibility with each other in the natural and climatic conditions of the geographical zone.

The pleasure of swimming in water purified by a natural method is complemented by the ease of caring for plants in the regeneration zone - it is enough to trim or thin out once a year, at the end of the bathing season. This measure contributes to the long-term and efficient functioning of the vegetable filter.

Do-it-yourself swimming pond - photo

1. This is how the site looked before: a noticeable slope, trees, an ordinary lawn. There is nothing for leisure activities.

3. The contours of the bowl of the future bathing pond are already clearly visible. Its base is a slab of monolithic reinforced concrete.

2. Due to its small size and weight (less than 3 tons), the mini excavator is ideal for working in a limited area.

4. Side walls bowls are laid out from hollow concrete blocks and, after masonry is completed, the voids are filled with liquid concrete ...

5. ... thanks to which the wall becomes monolithic, and then the joints between the blocks are sealed on inner surface and plaster it.

6. Then the bottom and walls of the swimming pool, as well as the adjacent regeneration zone, are lined with a continuous layer of waterproofing.

7. At this stage, underwater lights and bottom nozzles are installed, ensuring tightness at the points of their connection with the film.

8. The swimming pool is separated by a low underwater wall from the zone of regeneration and water purification with a vegetable filter.

9. In the regeneration zone there is also a skimmer that sucks water from the surface layer together with small floating debris.

10. Flat stones are used in the design of the perimeter of the regeneration zone. A gray non-woven fabric protects the waterproofing film.

11. In addition to laying blocks of natural stone, pebble and crushed stone backfill is also used in the design of the sloping slopes of the regeneration zone.

12. View towards the house above: natural stone retaining walls are visible here, following the contours of the swimming pool in plan.

13. Here you can see the demarcation line between the pond and the adjacent garden area, marked by the edge of the waterproofing film.

14. On top of the wall, laid out of concrete blocks, a moisture-resistant decking board with anti-slip corrugation is laid.

15. Teak flooring was also used for the terrace deck adjacent to the pool. The staircase with handrail is also made of wood.

16. At the end of the work, they start planting aquatic plants in the regeneration zone. Its contours are indicated by filling from large rubble.

17. View from the house to the new garden pond. Both its constituent zones and the beautiful framing of the water mirror are clearly visible here.

Note to the master: More convenience

Part of the bathing bowl has a smaller depth than the rest, due to the fact that an artificial shallow has been built here. This contributes to increased comfort both when swimming and when descending into the water, which is also located near this wall.

If you think that the water in the country, intended even for swimming, is more like a swamp, then you are greatly mistaken! You can create amazing clean pond for bathing in the country without adding bleach and other chemicals to it. If you stick to all the recommendations suggested in the article, you can create a unique pond that cleans itself.

Decide on a place!

Yes Yes! No matter how strange it may sound, but taking care of a swimming pond in the country begins with its correct location. Place it in the shade, where trace elements will multiply much more slowly than in the sun. The pond should be under the sun no more than 6 hours a day. But try to place it where there are few trees, otherwise their leaves and branches will always be in the water in the country. Put a pool for swimming near the bath: you can always take a dip in it.

Consider in advance the descent to the pond and the material of the swimming bowl

Think about how to make the most safe descent to the pond for swimming, also equip the shore. Decide right away how you will arrange it, so that later you do not have to redo something. You can create pond decorations yourself, or you can seek help from specialists.

A swimming bowl can be made of concrete - it will last for many years, but you will also have to spend a lot of money on its arrangement. There is another method - a film pond for swimming in the country. The pit is covered with plastic wrap. You can use a ready-made plastic mold - such a structure will not last long, but this method is the cheapest. It is better to cover its bottom with medium-sized pebbles.

Allocate a special place to the regeneration zone

According to many designers and builders, the minimum size of a swimming pool is 50 square meters. Most of the territory should be occupied by the territory for regeneration, and the larger it is, the cleaner the water surface becomes. Often it is created around the perimeter of the entire reservoir. Planting is carried out in bulk soil or in containers, heat-loving specimens are brought onto the veranda during the cold season.

Biopayment

This mini-pond is much smaller than the main pond. It can perform not only a practical, but also a decorative function. It is designed in the form of a stream, a cascade with ponds or fountains. Just pay attention to the fact that in order for the water from the main pond to enter the bioplate and be purified, a pump is needed.

Skimmer

This device is similar to a conventional vacuum cleaner. He collects leaves, branches and debris from the water surface. The main thing is to have time to collect them before it all sinks to the bottom. All these elements fall into a special container, which needs to be cleaned from time to time.

A few months after all the activities are done, you can enjoy swimming in such a pond. If the size of the pond does not allow for a large area for regeneration, then you can use ultraviolet lamps. Water, passing through them, is purified from bacteria, viruses and fungi.

In the newly installed bathing pond in the country, you can pour a product with pond bacteria, they will begin to multiply, destroy harmful microorganisms and help to create an ecological balance earlier. But in this case, you do not need to use ultraviolet lamps.

Whether you love to swim or just relax near the water, relaxing on the shore of a reservoir is one of the great pleasures of summer. But not every summer resident has the opportunity to build a cottage near the water. Therefore, sooner or later, each of us thinks about how difficult it is to make a pond on the site with our own hands. Ideally, we see a pond in the country not only as a decorative element of landscape design, but also as a small body of water in which you can enjoy swimming on a hot day.

However, faced with colorful descriptions of the technical difficulties, costs and nuances of regular care, many of us give up this idea.

Let's start with the basics - what makes a pond fundamentally different from a pool is the self-regulation system.

Bathing pond with their own hands.

We will walk you through the process of creating a pond step by step, and you can make your own garden pond by building a cool oasis in the middle of the heat right on your suburban area where with every light breath of fresh breeze our everyday worries disappear.

A garden pond is a living organism.

The pond in the country house mimics the process that nature uses to keep the lake clean. Everything - from the size and shape of the pond, plant species and water circulation are designed to maintain the pond in a stable natural state.

The problems that the pond owner faces is maintaining the balance between plants and water - the plants either die or take over the entire surface of the pond. Only a pond that is a balanced ecosystem ensures optimal water clarity and quality, and maximum enjoyment of swimming in the pond.

The water in the pond must circulate among the roots of the plants in order to be purified. Plants enrich the water with oxygen, which supports the vital activity of beneficial bacteria that utilize pollution and potentially harmful organisms, and also create a habitat for dragonflies, frogs and other aquatic life. The result is a stable, ecologically diverse system. Nature has revealed its technology to us and we must carefully use it.

How to make your own pond. The principles of the pond.

Water is a living biologically active component and all purification occurs due to the work of plants and beneficial microbes. To do this, the pond provides a bathing area and a filtration area for plants. The filtration zone is actually the swamp part of our water zone, and just like in nature, it is this one that guarantees the purity of the entire reservoir. This zone should occupy at least 50 percent of the total area of the water surface of the pond.
If you have noticed, then in nature there are almost no tiny reservoirs with a consistently clean surface of water - they quickly overgrow or silt. Natural stable biological balance can be achieved in ponds from 100 sq.m. Smaller ponds require more of our attention as they their biological balance is precarious. Therefore, these ponds include a skimmer and UV sterilizer to keep them clean, but still offer a chemical-free bathing area and support aquatic plant growth.

It is useful to add a small waterfall, stream or fountain to the pond for regular enrichment of water with oxygen. Although, for the same purpose, you can use an aerator.

How is pond water purified?

You can see that the process of filtering water in a pond is not complicated:
1. Water from the swimming area flows into the regeneration area.
2. Water circulates back to the bathing area.

Through the drainage pipes under the plant roots in the regeneration area or/and after the skimmer, the water is pumped through the UV sterilizer to the waterfall, stream or to the bottom of the swimming area. The pipe that goes to the bottom of the swimming area is slightly raised above the bottom so that the flow of water prevents the formation of silt at the bottom.

What should be the shape of the pond.

The bowl of the pond looks more like a soup bowl with large rims than a bathtub. The height difference should be about 30 cm for each meter of depth. It is this shape of the pond bowl that ensures the stability of the walls. The figure shows a cross section of a pond with a plant and bathing area:

After compaction of the surface layer of soil in the pit, geotextiles and a hermetic liner are laid on the bottom of the pond. In the plant zone - drainage pipes and gravel. In order to separate the swimming zone from the plant zone, a small hillock is formed - its top is 3 cm lower from the water surface. It can be made from sandbags or gravel. The mound allows water from the swimming area to pass into the plant area, where the water is filtered by the plant roots, and at the same time protects the plants from fluctuations in the water of the swimming area.

This design of the pond will allow you to conveniently clean the swimming area without affecting the plant area. In addition to purifying the water, the shallow water warms up quickly and serves as a habitat for frogs and other invertebrates, you will appreciate their benefits when they start eating mosquito larvae.

In order to mimic the natural contours of a pond, use a combination of different profiles for its shore. If you have plants on pond terraces, it is better to do this in pots so that they can be easily removed when cleaning the pond.

What size pond is suitable for our site?
The optimal size of the pond is 1/10 of the area of your site.

How about mosquitoes?
One of the first questions that arises at the word “pond with your own hands” is mosquitoes? Mosquitoes only breed standing water, the water in the pond will never be static, so mosquitoes will find it unattractive for their habitat. Even if at some point they appear, the frog pond ecosystem will reduce their population to a minimum.

Why make a pond in the country?
People who make a pond with their own hands make this decision because they want to see their pond. beautiful part landscaping and still have a clean, inviting place to swim on a hot day.
Can I keep fish in the swimming pond?
Unfortunately, fish, on the one hand, eats beneficial microflora with pleasure, on the other hand, it is a carrier of pathogenic bacteria, so there should not be fish in the baths.

Is it possible to make a sandy beach on a pond?
The best solution for entering the pond is walkways or stairs. For a beach entrance to the water, you need enough space, because. the angle of entry into the water is small. In addition, the sand quickly silts up - those beaches that we see are often simply trampled down to sand, most of the pond shore is usually densely overgrown with plants.

Should I swim with frogs?
Yes, frogs are full-fledged and important inhabitants of the pond. Additionally, to purify the water in the pond, it is good to have double-winged toothless shells or barley, which filter water up to 40 liters per day. You can also get snails (coils, livebearers) - they eat dead plants and clean the pond well.

Which the best place for the pond?
It is better to place the pond away from the trees, because. falling, the leaves will rot in the pond. Moreover, growing roots can damage the waterproofing film or tilt the finished container. The illumination of the site should be about 5 hours in the morning, and the rest of the time it should be in partial shade. The pond does not need large illumination. leads to increased formation of algae and overheating of water in the reservoir.

What to do with the pond in winter?
In winter, the pond, like natural reservoirs, freezes. You don't need to drain it. For the winter it is necessary to remove all equipment from the pond (pumps, filters, skimmers).

Does the type of soil affect the creation of a pond?
No, the composition of the soil does not affect. There is a misconception that it is good when the groundwater level is high. In fact, groundwater at the freezing level is more of a problem. Freezing, the ice can bulge the bottom of the pond. It is especially problematic if the pond is made on the basis of a rigid finished form.

Do-it-yourself pond from a film.

The main question when creating a pond: how to make it waterproof. There are several types of pond waterproofing - film, clay castle, concrete and rigid installation.

Rigid mold installation is a simple and durable method, but they usually come in small sizes up to 3.5 square meters. meters. Their service life is 10-50 years.

Waterproofing with concrete is the most expensive, in addition, it needs additional treatment with a frost-resistant agent and liquid glass to protect it from frost.

A clay castle is the cheapest in terms of materials, but the most labor-intensive. In order to waterproof the pit with clay, the compacted soil is covered with wood ash or soot. Then a 15 cm layer of clay dough is applied to the walls, compacted. When the layer dries, a second 30 cm is applied. When the layer is almost dry, crushed stone is poured on it, slightly pressing into the layer.

The optimal solution for the construction of ponds with an area of more than 5-6 sq.m. - film waterproofing.

How much film is needed for the pond:
Film length= pond length + 2 pond depth + 50 cm margin for fasteners.
Film width= width of the pond + 2 depth of the pond + 50 cm margin for fasteners.

The film is produced in widths from 2 to 10 m, length 10-50 m. Knowing your needs, you can choose the optimal roll. The film is bought before digging the pit, this will allow you to cover it immediately when the pit is ready, preventing its edges from shedding.
What kind of film to choose for the pond.
PVC film for a pond is cheaper, but eventually destroyed by ultraviolet radiation, its service life is 8-10 years.
Butyl rubber sheeting is more expensive, but has both UV and cold protection. The service life of such a film is 50 years.

Do-it-yourself pond construction photo.

Do-it-yourself pond begins with marking the pit. The curved shape can be marked with a hose. We remove the sod along the coastline and take out the soil on the bayonet - this will be the line of the swamp zone, then the next level of the earth is taken out inside the resulting border, and so on. As a result, our terraces will be 50 cm wide with slopes of 20 cm. When the pond pit is ready, all hard objects that can damage the film: stones, roots, etc. , remove. We level and ram the walls and bottom of the pit.

Before work, the film is laid for several hours in a sunny place so that it warms up and becomes more elastic. Laying the film is done in warm weather. Overlapped geotextile or felt sheets are laid on the compacted pit, they are needed to protect the waterproofing film from protruding roots and stones over time.

A waterproofing film is spread on top of the geotextile with a margin of 50 cm along the edges of the pit. The edges are temporarily fixed with stones. The film is allowed to sag a little, smoothing and leveling it according to the shape of the pit.

The foil inside the swimming area can be protected with dry stacked stones.

Gravel or sand bags can be used instead of stones. But keep in mind that it is more convenient to take care of a pond with film walls. - it is easier to clean it from silt and mud.

In portions, the pit is poured with water, removing air bubbles from under the film.

When the pond is completely filled with water, the ends of the film are securely fixed in a trench, which is made at a distance of 15 cm from the edge of the pit. In a trench 20 cm deep, the edges of the film are wrapped in a roll and covered with stones and pebbles.

We make a pond with our own hands. Shore decoration.

After you have made a pond with your own hands, before you start decorating the shore, you need to pour plenty of water on it and wait 2-3 days, because. shrinkage is possible. In addition, during this time, the water in the pond will settle.
We mask the film on the shore with rubble, stones, snags. We plant plants in shallow water. The pond needs plants that saturate the water with oxygen. There are many suitable plants - reeds, meadowsweet, iris, bathing suit, marigold, arrowhead. Any plant that grows on the shore of a natural pond will work for your pond. Don't forget about algae, like hornwort, which just floats in the water. Deciduous ornamental shrubs are best planted behind marsh grasses, which are planted directly on the shore.

Additional charm is added to the pond backlight.

Floating flower beds look seductive on the surface of the pond.

Pond safety.

If there are very young children in the family, then perhaps the construction of the pond should be postponed until they are older. It is necessary to consider visiting the pond by the elderly and school-age children. Make a convenient ladder for entering the pond, don't forget to clean it so it doesn't get slippery! All other sides of the pond, except for the entrance, are best covered with plants.

Pond care.

The new pond will take on its natural form throughout the year - while it will form its ecosystem. Small world your pond is very vulnerable. The pond may quickly heat up or freeze, the water may evaporate, or the pond may overflow after rain. This puts a strain on aquatic life that cannot instantly transition to a safer, more stable environment.

Therefore, your pond, like any living organism, requires care. On a hot day, you need to add water, collect garbage that floats on the surface with a net, check whether the plants have grown or perhaps something has not taken root and must be annoyed. However, a surprising number of life forms will colonize your new pond, they will quickly explore new waters and stay if conditions suit them.

The quiet splash of water is the most enchanting melody of a hot summer, water bewitches, attracts and seduces us with a playful play of light, transparent depth and life-giving coolness. A handmade pond will give your cottage a special charm.

What do you associate the word "cottage" with? Ringing heat, endless struggle with weeds, tedious work, after which you crawl with relief to a city apartment?

Or is it something else: a soft lawn that pleasantly tickles bare feet, a rich aroma of herbs that breaks the nostrils, a cool water that refreshes the soul and body, flowing like a murmuring stream over the stones between slender plants?

If you dream of receiving not only aesthetic, but also physical satisfaction from a suburban area, then there will be a bathing pond!

What are the benefits of a pool pond?

Unlike plastic pools, which hardly harmoniously fit into the landscape, require an expensive system of purification, water change and removal for the winter, a swimming pond is a great opportunity to have a place for bathing the whole family with beautiful vegetation growing in and around the water.

Such a reservoir can be given any shape, it does not need a complex water purification system: due to the special design of the bath, ecological balance is maintained and self-purification occurs.

From theory...

The classic one consists of three components: a swimming bowl, a regeneration zone and a bioplato (autonomous regeneration reservoir). The connecting elements are conductive lines and electrical equipment.

At the edge of the bath, they build a wooden platform for relaxing and sunbathing, arrange a convenient entrance with steps and railings, and, if necessary, install an awning and deck chairs.

Location selection

A bathing pond is arranged in a place located in partial shade and protected from the wind. A reservoir of 70-100 square meters will not require practically any equipment for water treatment, if half of this area is allocated for a regeneration zone - an area with vegetation around the pool.

If there is not enough space on the site, the bath can be reduced to 30-40 sq.m, while the regeneration zone will take about 10-20 sq.m and filters and pumps will have to be used.

Do not arrange a pond close to trees: fallen leaves falling into the water can lead to water pollution and the formation of algae.

Plants for the pond

In the regeneration zone, aquatic plants are placed in containers or planted in bulk soil (local - umbrella susak, arrowhead, marsh flower, forget-me-not and marsh calla or exotic water lilies). Heat-loving plants (orontium aquatic, pontederia) are cleaned in a cool room in winter.

It is important to plant the bioplateau with plants that are good biofilters. Usually these are plants with tubular stems: broad-leaved cattail or reed. However, they need space and are only suitable for large bodies of water. For small ponds, it is better to use sedge, three-leaf watch or marsh iris.

As coastal aquatic vegetation, plants from local reservoirs are used: loosestrife, loosestrife, marsh spurge, marsh marigold, small cattail, rushes. You can decorate the reservoir with garden plants that love moisture: varieties of host and astilbe, meadowsweet, hybrid bathing suit, buzulnik, primrose, bergenia. A weeping willow is planted at the edge of the pond, at a distance - daylilies, Rogers, Siberian iris, ferns, cuff.

Pond Care

The bathing pond should be regularly cleaned of fallen leaves and other debris, cut off the dry parts of plants, and clean the filter grids. Once every five years, a “major” cleaning of the reservoir is performed. For the winter, the water is not drained, in the summer it is desirable to replenish it manually. It is not recommended to populate fish in the bathing pond.

… to practice

Santolia, a member of the Dom i Dacha forum, got excited about the idea of converting her decorative pond into a bathing pond. The husband donated a piece of beautiful lawn to slightly expand the existing reservoir.

A plot measuring 4x6 m was taken under the bathing pond. Because of the groundwater, the depth came out small - only 1.2 meters, but quite sufficient to refresh in the heat. It was decided to dig a pit for swimming, make steps for decorating the edges, organize shallow water on the side.

We planned to install a pump at medium depth on one side of the swimming area and run a hose along the edge of the creek. The brook had to pass through the plants and flow out into the bathing area. Thus it was supposed to create biopurification of water.

They dug a hole under the pond for three days. The last load of soil had already been taken out, as it began to rain heavily. The downpour washed away all the steps, so the owners had to puzzle over how to save their work.

Santolia did not wait for the resulting swamp to dry up: the pond threatened to grow in size. Together with my husband, they pumped out the water and tried to lay steps from the soil chosen from the pit, placed in punctured plastic bags, which were laid like bricks. However, the venture had to be postponed: the ground was floating, and the structure promised to collapse.

To strengthen the banks, you can use a larch block house by driving pointed stakes along the edges of the bathing bowl. Soil bags are best made from geotextiles, “stitching” them with a construction stapler.

The long-awaited dry weather came, which the owners hurried to take advantage of by digging out the collapsed edges of the pit, lining it with geotextile, laying two layers of PVC film, laying a felt backing on the bottom and laying it with rubble layers. After the foundation pit was filled with water, in parallel, anointing the steps with rubble and filling the seams between the layers with pebbles.

Sand Santolia advises not to use: it gets dirty, and even turbidity rises when you walk along the bottom.

And now the time has come to “beautify” and engage in the “settlement” of the bioplateau.

In the future, Santolia dreams of putting a fountain in the form of a beer barrel, located on a bench, from which a stream of “beer” will flow - a kind of gift to her husband, a lover of this drink.

In the meantime, the final picture seems to invite, together with the owners, to enjoy the peace and freshness that rewarded the workers for the difficult work of creating a bathing pond.

A reservoir, you can make it not only decorative, serving exclusively for enjoyment, but also suitable for swimming. Usually, a swimming pond for a summer residence is made in a landscape style, that is, with a design as close as possible to a natural reservoir. It is better if the swimming pond is zoned into separate sections.

Construction of ponds with a swimming area (with photo)

The swimming pond on the site combines two functions at once - a swimming pool and a landscape pond. Of course, such a reservoir, due to its size and complexity of the device, will require large financial investments and physical strength.

Before you make a swimming pond, you need to resolve all the contradictions associated with the rules for constructing a swimming pool and a natural reservoir.

A do-it-yourself swimming pond should have beautifully designed coastlines, terraces for planting plants, its biobalance should be as close to natural as possible.

For swimming pools, the main conditions are the depth and hygiene of the water, i.e. a cleaning system must be installed.

This is the main contradiction: it is necessary to organize such that it is as close as possible to natural, but at the same time, so that you can safely swim in such water, because it cannot be cleaned with chemicals.

In this case, during the construction of swimming ponds, it is necessary to use forced circulation of water when, passing through the regeneration zone, it will return to the swimming bowl already cleaned, clarified and enriched with oxygen.

It will be possible to swim in such a reservoir even if there are fish and various plants in it.

Maintenance is only necessary to bring water to the regeneration point, where the liquid will be attacked by aquatic plants and "friendly" bacteria.

The regeneration zone is also called a bioplate and is located in shallow water.

Building such a biological filter with your own hands will be the cheapest and most productive way to clean the pond from various pollutants and pesticides.

You can build such a zone outside the pond, nearby, in the form of a small reservoir or stream densely planted with aquatic plants. This is where the circulation of water from the pond will take place.

It is also possible, when constructing a swimming pond in the country house, to build a bioplato zone in the shallow water of the reservoir with your own hands, separating it from the swimming zone with a permeable partition or leaving a message in the upper part.

The bioplateau should occupy at least 15% of the total area of the reservoir, only then the regeneration zone will be able to fully cope with the purification of all water.

In the regeneration zone, it is necessary to plant those coastal plants that have proven themselves well as biocleaners.

It can be both regional and exotic cultures. Most often, reeds, water lilies, cattail, pondweed, susak and reed are used in this capacity.

A landscape swimming pond must have underwater terraces - a shallow area for natural regeneration, a place for planting deep-sea plants (as a decoration of the pond) and the deepest place for fish and human swimming.

Making a swimming pond in the country

As additional funds to enrich the water with oxygen and clean it, you can decorate the reservoir with a small waterfall.

When creating a deep bathing pond, it is also necessary to provide for a convenient entrance to the water. You can make at least one of the descents gentle or make a bottom slope of 45 ° on all banks.

Despite the high cost and complexity of the work, landscaped swimming pools are becoming more and more popular.

Some summer residents and homeowners are already starting to remodel swimming pools into natural reservoirs, the good thing is that there is something to start with, which means that there will be less costs.

Of course, it is more pleasant to have on your site not just, but a beautiful and exquisite pond. It is healthier, because there will be no contact with chemical reagents.

In a "natural" pool, the water warms up better and faster. There is no need to change the water and clean the pond, while it will have a beautiful view throughout the swimming season. Even in winter, this reservoir can be used as a skating rink.

If we talk about its cost, then it is comparable to the construction of a capital pool, but in the future, during the operation, the costs will be insignificant.

Construction of a swimming pond on the site

The construction of the bathing pond on the site includes five stages.

1. First you need to make markings on the ground, highlighting the contour of the future reservoir using a curb plastic tape.

2. Then it is necessary to dig a pit to the entire depth of the swimming bowl and cast a foundation under the sides of the internal cavity of the reservoir.
