Why is figure skating useful? Revelations of a Russian figure skater: everyone sleeps with each other here Why is figure skating so expensive

So, taking on figure skating, you:

1. Speed up

In terms of its miraculous effect, figure skating competes with swimming and jogging in the fresh air. Most of the current famous skaters in the past - sickly children of the era of the 90s, who had a whole bunch of problems, from a weak immune system to diseases of the heart and spine. But, of course, even those who are absolutely healthy should ride. On the ice, not only the skater himself accelerates, but also all the internal processes that take place in the body: the metabolism goes faster and the blood rushes to the heart, the lungs pump more air.

2. Strengthen your legs

Sliding, turning, braking, jumping and landing on the fifth point - there are simply no muscles in the lower body that would be idle during your rest. The greatest load during ordinary skating is experienced by the ankle, calf muscles and knees. There are separate exercises in order to train the hips and buttocks: for example, the “pistol gun”, familiar to everyone from physical education lessons, is only performed at speed and on ice. But this, so to speak, is already for advanced users.

3. Get rid of motion sickness

Figure skating perfectly trains the vestibular apparatus: the better you can stand (and run) on a slippery surface, the easier it will be for you in everyday life. When traveling by car, train or plane, the likelihood of motion sickness will noticeably decrease.

4. Develop an ear for music

For professional skaters, ear for music is generally a matter of life and death: you don’t hear what’s pouring out of the speakers on the ice - it’s free. Screening comes from early age. In children's schools, beginner skaters walk in a circle to the music with a changing tempo and tap out the rhythm with sticks. By the way, you can take this technique into service and test your own strength.

5. Ride everywhere

You don't have to pay for ice if you like to skate. In winter, artificial reservoirs often turn into wild skating rinks: no fees, no ice, but what a scope for creativity! For example, here you can learn to write out various figures and words with skates (by the way, this was exactly what the first figure skaters competitions consisted of). Another option: invite a friend to work out new types of supports that are usually hidden from prying eyes.

6. Find a girl

Acquaintance on the rinks is a matter of technology. If you can jump the axel or at least imitate Michael Jackson's walk on the ice, you will quickly find a partner and move from solo to pair skating. If the set of elements is still limited to uncertain sliding on swinging legs, then your option is a spectacular fall. Particularly brave ones dive right at the object of desire, and then with apologetic intonations they ask to show a couple of tricks. The main thing is to take into account the difference in dimensions so as not to accidentally crush the girl.

Don't skate if you have:

  • Problems of the musculoskeletal system (scoliosis of the second or more degree). Figure skating is on the list of the most traumatic sports, because sometimes the speed of the skater exceeds 60 km / h. Even one bad fall can lead to serious consequences.
  • Myopia of a high degree, as well as any degree of myopia against the background of changes in the fundus. A doctor's recommendation is needed - there is a risk of retinal detachment.
  • Diseases of cardio-vascular system(heart defects and minor anomalies of the heart). Figure skating only looks easy on TV, but in reality it is a serious burden, including on the heart.
  • Severe illnesses nervous system(epilepsy). In this case, you are prohibited from doing any energy-consuming activities. Figure skating, too.
  • Respiratory disease. If a bronchial asthma yours is not seasonal, but permanent, it is best to stay behind the side. In adulthood, it will not work to cure it with figure skating, but it is easy to aggravate it.

Simple moves

AT figure skating there are a lot of great terms: spiral "compass", rotation "pancake", jumping "pendal" and "deer". We do not guarantee that after our express course you will do them with your left hand and immediately win the heart of Tatyana Tarasova, but in any case, your ice show will not turn into an ice disgrace.
Here are three base element to help you stand out from the crowd.

Flashlights

Moving backwards, with countless figure eights written out with the feet. The starting stance is on two legs.

  • Legs straight, toes together, heels apart.
  • Sit down, bend your legs and forcefully spread to a distance of half a meter.
  • The push is performed on the inner edge of the skate. Push off from the spot, straighten your legs, bring them together.
  • After you learn how to hang "flashlights" backwards, do the same forward.

sliding back

The starting stance is on two legs. Legs slightly bent at the knees, toes together, heels apart.

  • Gently push off the ice with the inner edge of the left skate and transfer the center of gravity to the right foot.
  • Continue sliding on the outer edge of the right skate. The left leg is on the ice on the inside edge. After the push, she walks next to the right leg at a distance of 30–40 cm.
  • When the slide ends, you need to move the left foot to the right and transfer the weight of the body to the left foot. The next push will be with the right foot.

Martin

The starting stance is on two legs.

  • For starters, you'll need to get up to speed.
  • Then transfer the weight of the body to the right leg, do not bend the knee, continue to slide in a straight line.
  • Spread your arms out to the sides to help you keep your balance.
  • Then take your left leg back, while turning the sock, and lift it up as much as possible. The trunk should be lowered forward only after left leg pulled back and lifted up to the limit.
  • It is necessary to slide on the back of the skate so as not to catch the teeth on the ice and not fall.

Request stop

In figure skating, there are a dozen different ways to quickly and painlessly stop, and that's not counting our favorite jump into a snowdrift and braking on the side. Here are the three easiest options for you.

T-stop

If you are rushing forward on two half-bent legs, then to stop you need to press on the inner edge of the skate blade, which is located behind. First, this leg must be placed perpendicular to the direction of movement. Spread your hands to the sides.

Stop "plow"

Here's another option for you. Bend your legs, turn your toes inward, press on the inner ribs of the skate, and pray. Joke. You will safely slow down without prayer.

Braking with two feet

Recommended for lucky owners hockey skates. You need to sharply turn both legs perpendicular to the movement, put one foot on the inner edge, the other on the outer edge and douse the audience, amazed by your abilities, with a wave of ice shavings.

How many times have you said to yourself: "I can do it, today I will ride!". Then for some reason they put it off, or maybe they gave up? It takes some persistence to learn how to skate, but you can do it. All you need to do is master some basic skills and you will be ready for the incredible sensations that await you when riding.

Steps

Part 1

Building Skills
  1. Get ready. Before you go out on the ice, you need to put on your skates. Don't worry about buying your own gear right away. You can rent equipment until you are sure you want to skate for a long time.

    • Make sure you rent skates that are right for you. They should fit snugly but should not cause your feet to tingle or hurt.
    • You also need to make sure you lace them up tight enough. You shouldn't be able to twist your ankle.
  2. Learn to fall. The very first thing you have to learn as a skater is to fall. You will fall a lot and it is important to know how to fall without hurting yourself. Practice the fall. If you feel like you're falling, crouch into a falling position so that you land softly back or on your side. Don't land on your hands.

    • You must also learn to get up, or at least get back on your way quickly. You don't want other people to run over you.
  3. Relax your knees. The next thing you should practice as a skater is how to keep your knees properly and loosely. When you are new to riding, you will be unstable on your feet and your muscles will be weak, so you will naturally want your knees to be locked and stiff. However, free knees that can move easily are very important for figure skating, not only allowing you to move around but also keeping your legs from hurting.

    • Practice letting the muscles relax by shaking the legs. You can also free up your knees by crouching slightly.
  4. Learn how to move forward. Now that you can skate comfortably and safely, you can learn how to move forward on your skates. Pointing forward with one foot, push the other foot back and to the side very gently, with the toes at a slight angle to the body. This back leg should push you across the ice. Put your back foot on the ice, and then do the same push, but with the other foot.

    • Although the method of balancing is different, you can try learning this basic move on street skates before learning it on the ice. It's easier and can keep you from hurting yourself.
  5. Learn to stop. Of course, once you start moving forward, you will eventually want to stop. You can't just drive into a wall every time! The most basic stop is done by slightly bending your knees and tilting your body to the side so that both of your blades are tilted away from the direction of travel.

    • You can also do a T-stop, which is done by turning one of the blades perpendicular to the other blade and tilting it away from the direction of travel.
  6. Learn to stroke. This is one of those basic movements that you need to learn. Stroking is when you do the same motion to move forward, but longer and more graceful. Push harder with your leg and hold that leg behind you longer before switching to the other leg.

    • Practice this for a graceful and natural movement. This will be the main move between all the tricks and moves that you will be doing while skating, so you have to do it well.

    Part 2

    Learning basic movements
    1. Learn to move backwards. The very first "trick" you learn as a skater is how to move backwards. This trick leads to many other tricks in figure skating and is an important skill to learn and master. It requires coordination and practice, but be patient: you will learn it.

      • To begin with, if you want to move backward, imagine moving backwards in relation to moving forward. Shift your weight to one foot and move with the other leg as you draw a lemon on ice, pushing yourself back and rounding the "lemon's" curve.
    2. Learn to turn. Making sharp turns or even just a gentle turn on the rink are essential skills for a skater. Another skill you will learn is how to do slightly more difficult turns than simple ways which you have probably learned yourself. There are two main methods for turning, which you will learn at the beginning:

      • Forward crossovers are used for big turns and to create momentum for jumps. Basically, you will be doing the same movements that you do to move forward, but your legs will cross over each other, slowly turning you around. You can also do the same movement in reverse, although you must start with a forward movement.
      • Three turns is another turning method used for sharp turns and direction changes. This is more difficult, but still quite doable for a beginner.
    3. Try learning to spin. There's a lot various kinds spins in figure skating, and some of them are not as difficult as they seem. You will probably be ready to do rotations in about a year, having mastered the other movements.

      • The basic rotation is rotation in a circle in one place.
      • The spiral is done by twisting one leg and upper body parallel to the ice.
    4. Master the sequences. There are some series of moves or tricks that are standard in figure skating. This is called footwork and usually consists of many turns, spins and jumps. Different sequences have different names and you should learn some of the most basic sequences.

      • For example, a mohawk and a waltz turn by three.

Why do adults need skates

I have been skating for five years.

Many are perplexedly asking why in adulthood to engage in figure skating. I don’t even know what to answer: it’s not surprising to anyone that people go to the pool, run marathons or play hockey with friends for the soul.

But with regard to figure skating, for some reason, there is still that you need to do this in childhood, and then it’s pointless, useless and even stupid.

I do not think so.

The benefits of figure skating

If we talk about the results that can be demonstrated to others, then you can learn to confidently and beautifully slide at any age, devoting three hours a week to this for several years (two is enough for someone, five for someone), provided that the skates professional level and at least part of the training takes place with a trainer. You most likely won’t jump in two and even more so in three turns (although there are adult amateurs with confident doubles), but single-turn jumps are available to almost everyone who has the right skates and who has mastered gliding well. And that's enough to look like a star on mass skating, if they allow such things to be done there.

But more important to me inner side: what this sport gives me myself.

Firstly, it unloads the head very well and “grounds”, forcing on precise movements and bodily sensations, and not on domestic or work problems. You can’t be distracted: ice punishes instantly.

Secondly, figure skating is a great fitness, and, for me, even better than running: guaranteed aerobic regime, no shock load on the joints (if you don’t jump), the impossibility of overheating, the work of absolutely all muscles.

I calculated somehow: for an hour on the ice, without noticing it, we do about 700 squats to a right angle on one leg while swinging the second straight up to 90 degrees - forward, backward, to the sides, holding the pose for a few seconds. And on each leg, a weight of one and a half kilograms (skates). Here you have a press, and a strong back, and a good quadriceps, and developed calf muscles, and a strong muscle corset around the spine. Hands are constantly raised to the sides, and this is a trained delta, and not only. The body twists left and right all the time - and the oblique abdominal muscles also thank you.

Thirdly, all this happens at speed and in complex coordination - in any position you need to maintain balance on the centimeter section of the blade, and in flight calculate the moment of landing. And constantly control the edges of the blades, the direction of movement, the steepness of the arc, the inclination to the ice and the general trajectory, not only your own, but also possible strangers on your way. You begin to hear each of your muscles, learn them instantly and strain, each separately, as in yoga. I am in much better control of my body now than I was five years ago.

And finally, it's just beautiful. Posture improves, movements and gestures become wider and smoother, its own special plasticity breaks out of the depths of the subconscious. And at some point, the understanding comes that you can already dance a little on ice.

To heighten the fan, you can participate in amateur competitions, a dozen of them are held in our country alone during the season. I tried it, a very interesting feeling - you need to flood a huge area of 30x60 meters, and this is not solved by the latitude and speed of skiing, even if they are. You need to get out of your mental shell, open up, and this is the most difficult thing.

* * *
But the competition is not the main thing. I just love the feeling of balance on a narrow blade, the feeling of precise control of my body. And the fact that on the ice there is a feeling of flight, even when you just slide.

This is pure zen.

Well, would you like to try? If so, feel free to go to the rink. And remember: to do things that bring deep moral satisfaction (and even benefit in physical plane!) it's never too late. It's great and wonderful.

Price

Figure skating is expensive. Good skates are assembled separately - boots and blades. On average, it costs 30-40 thousand rubles (up to 580 euros). Skates you change once a season at best. In adult athletes who perform triple and quadruple jumps, shoes break more often. In addition, costumes are also expensive.

Each figure skater dress is sheathed with Swarovski stones - 6-7 thousand stones each. This is another 30-35 thousand rubles (505 euros). At least there is enough dress for the whole season, and then it can be sold. I am silent about the silicone that skaters need to keep their boots from chafing, sponges, blade sharpening, laces, hooks on boots that constantly fall off. It seems like a trifle, and then you look back - and herax, 100 thousand are gone.

The most important thing is training. If you are not in the national team, no one pays you anything: neither the coach, nor the choreographer, nor the physical training coach. There are schools Olympic reserve, in which classes are not so expensive - 20-30 thousand per month. This is for training and coaching.

Roll-ups are popular now - individual sessions, tutoring. good coach costs from 1.5 to 3 thousand rubles per hour (20-40 euros). There are stories when the coach forces students to take individual lessons: "So that's it. On Saturday, individual, you come, Vasya, you, Masha, and you, Katya. Don't come - next week you will be without my attention." Yes, this is blackmail.

Nutrition

Sometimes, 200 grams in the black - and that's it, there are no jumps. And it happens that a person recovers by two kilograms - and at least he has something. Skaters eat everything. How not to try chocolates and burgers at foreign competitions, which we don’t have? Some don't eat at all - to keep the weight off.

Someone eats once a day, because every morning there is a weigh-in: without breakfast, you go to training, you were weighed - it passed. Worked out and then you get drunk for lunch, because they won’t weigh more today, and that’s it, this is your only meal. You can’t eat in the evening, because in the morning again weighing.

Naturally, girls who eat and do not gain weight are simply hated. You bring cookies or candy for your birthday, and your parents go, "She brought candy on purpose to make you all get better."

Children also have problems with overweight. And it happens that the coach does not let the girl go to class because she is fat. "You're left without ice, without choreography, without OFP. You'll know how to eat, honey."

Parents

While the children are at the rink, everything is done in the locker room. Parents do everything for their children and gossip about everything: who went where, who was seen with whom, who undeservedly got into the national team, who needs to finish at all. They are not allowed to train because they are too active. They quickly forget that there is a coach at the rink. They think they know everything. They yell at the child how to raise a hand, how to put a foot. So they sit in the locker room.

On one rink there are glass windows in the locker rooms, they were specially painted over, but the parents pick off the paint and peep. And then they come to the locker room and say to some neighboring mother: “Oh, Mash, the coach didn’t pay any attention to your child today.” And then it begins: "Why do you pay more attention to her, but you don't pay any attention to mine?"

locker room

Sometimes athletes fight. "I skated the program today, and you, ***, interfered with me." And herak - in you discs with music. Or: "What are you, blind? Why are you not inferior to me at the rink!".

Athletes who go to the world and European championships are already adults, they have achieved their goal, they have broken into the elite that goes to big competitions. They are no longer up to this trash, which is not even selected for the Russian championship.

They fight for the attention of the coach, for a place on the rink, for a place in the locker room - for everything, and this is some kind of madness. Everyone has 3-4 chairs in the locker room. I had a case. Winter, a lot of outerwear. I put my things down and went to get ballerinas, and my bag, apparently, ended up in someone else's territory. I come: she is lying on the floor, of course, she was opened before that, so that everything fell out. I was shocked. Therefore, skates carry everything with them. My friend was given a needle that went into her thumb- right under the nail. Naturally, she did not skate for several weeks.

Upbringing

In the figure, children are stretched in the same way as in gymnastics. It all depends on the choreographer: for example, I was never torn, pulled calmly. But 80 percent of kids vomit because they need to stretch. Instead of the stick that Chinese gymnastics coaches have, we have a plastic sheath for the blade. The trainer holds this case in his hands and slaps him on his knees, on his hands. And it is not perceived as something terrible. This is already normal.

By the way, parents bludgeon even more than coaches. After training, the child enters the locker room, and there the tin begins: parents bludgeon the children in front of everyone, they saw everything through the crack.

"Why didn't you work, why didn't you raise your hands?" - and 15 people around start talking about it. Hitting a child on the head is fine. Pushing your head against the wall is also normal.

And the coaches… I don’t know how brutal it is to make a little girl a ponytail on top of her head and lift her by her hair while jumping. This is training process, otherwise not teach. Older skaters have a so-called fishing rod - the athlete puts on a vest, a long stick clings to it. The coach rides behind you and lifts you up during the jumps - such a mini-insurance so that you learn triple jumps. It is not considered wild.

Alcohol

In figure skating, they thump, but not everyone. And if they thump - then so that the whole hotel is then carried. Much depends on the organizers. After the competition, everyone is gathered at a banquet: everyone is civilly dressed, in dresses and high heels, the bosses come.

If the organizers rented a club for skaters and arranged a disco there, everything ends well. Everyone got drunk in the club and returned to the hotel. If this is not the case, everyone falls into someone's room. Nothing happens without the participation of Russians and Japanese. How the Japanese drink - I have not yet seen from anyone else.

The hotel administration does not like it at all when something extraordinary happens in their rooms: and then the manager comes, followed by the administrator, followed by the director. Sometimes the police came, she managed to calm down. Somehow, the party moved to the hotel pool, and the disgruntled administrator ended up in the water.

binges

One very talented girl lost her season because she went on a drinking binge. I lost the selection for the European Championship, I decided, apparently, that figured life was over. I just swelled - and actively laid out everything in social media: how cute it is with her in an embrace with a bottle and a glass, different friends. But she got out. Now this is a cool Russian figure skater.

One figure skater (she was not noted for anything in sports) was devastating the mini-bar in other people's rooms. Then people left and they were presented with a bill, and they did not even know about it.

Another girl said that without drinking, she could not go on the ice. I didn't get drunk, of course. She was just wildly nervous, drank a little - and everything is ok. She was 16 or 17 at the time. There are also those who thump at the training camp at 12. And why not, in fact? When everyone is drunk, why don't you drink too.

Psyche

There was a girl, at the age of 12-13 she won the stages of the Grand Prix, at the junior world championships she was in the top, she jumped unique jumps - such as a triple flip and a triple rittberger, which no one jumped then. She constantly had psychological problems: fighting for medals is always incredibly stressful. She began to lose. She was 14-15 years old. At some point, it just disappeared. She was treated in a psychiatric clinic, and everything became fine with her, but she did not continue to ride.

Money

You can earn money only if you participate in commercial shows. Now there are a lot of them. If you are a world champion, you receive an average of 10 thousand dollars for a show - you need to go to demonstration performances wave to everyone and leave. They, of course, jump: whoever takes risks, the audience likes him, and he is called again.

But there are no obligatory elements in the show - you can jump what you are best at: wake up the skater, he will put on shoes on his bare feet and still jump a triple sheepskin coat - and the audience will be: "Ahh, he is a god, how he jumped."

At competitions - if you are top, if you take 1-2-3 places at the Grand Prix - you also earn money. For the first place at the European Championships, single skaters receive about 20 thousand dollars, at the World Championships it was 50 thousand: 20 percent of them you give to the Federation, 30 percent to the coach.

Plushenko

Of the Russian figure skaters, he is the richest, because he is the most titled and travels to shows the most. By status, he is generally from another planet - this is evidenced at least by the fact that he was allowed to speak at the Olympics.

Of course, Zhenya is a unique skater. Speak for so long high level maybe few people. He deserved this status. At all competitions, he lived in luxury rooms. I don't see it as some sort of snobbery. And in behavior he is completely different from everyone else. At competitions, he does not travel with everyone by bus, but by car. But he greets, smiles.

Nobody discusses his marriage with Rudkovskaya in figure skating - he got married and got married. For some reason, everyone thinks that not a day goes by without discussing Plushenko. This is not true. Everyone has already forgotten him. Maybe that's why he periodically gives interviews and says he's coming back.

Sex

In figure skating, everyone sleeps with each other. Like actors - a very narrow circle, except for these people you do not see anyone in life. Therefore, everyone met each other, recaptured suitors, wives, husbands from each other, give birth to children from each other. Like in a circus.

There are also rumors that figure skaters are messing with hockey players. But this is not true: all hockey players have models in their wives. This is rude, but they are not up to *** (tortured) by figure skating girls. They need a model that is free at any moment and can go anywhere with them, fly anywhere with them. And the figure skater will simply send the hockey player: "I'm sorry, I have my own world championship."

One figure skater disappeared in Sochi after the team championship. The coach was looking for her all evening and night, and then she was seen leaving the house of the Russian hockey team. Not very sober. But be that as it may, she won a medal.

This same girl lived with her coach. Yes, they slept, met. Her then coach was generally a fan of sleeping with his wards. But he is beautiful: great shape like all skaters. He looks very good, always neat, combed, dressed to the nines. There is nothing strange in the fact that his students fall in love with him and give themselves up.

Sex between partners

Maybe it ruins everything. And maybe it helps. Because there must be a connection between partners, they often roll love stories. 70 percent are love stories. Of course, it helps if they live together, love and feel each other, sleep. They don't waste energy playing love.

Often couples break up when love ends. How did Averbukh leave Anisina? He fell in love with Ira Lobacheva and began to ride with her, and Anisina went to France to look for a partner. Volosozhar met with her partner Morozov, then he finished, began to train her, put her in a pair with Trankov - now they have announced their engagement. Trankov himself skated with Mukhortova, and Mukhortova lived with a coach. And often they drove on Maxim. And in the end, he left, and for Mukhortova it came as a surprise: "He went to some kind of Tanya Volosozhar." I don't know where Masha is now, but we know where Maxim is.

There are a lot of gay people in figure skating, it's true. Almost all Americans are gay. Johnny Weir married twice - I don't know for sure. And he does not hide it. I'm okay with gays. I rode with Johnny and felt great because he is friendly, he is like the sun. You come to practice for several days in a row - and here is Johnny, who is lucky to ride. He is absolutely earthly - despite the merits and completely wild popularity. He never got angry or scolded. He is unique.

They say Yuzuru Hanyu Olympic champion also gay. They also talk about Daisuke Takasahi. This is not advertised by them in any way, but it can be seen in the manner of skating. In figure skating, no one asks this question.

Maxim Trankov is friends with Stéphane Lambiel. I think Swiss is gay. They are friends, perform together in the show. There is no such thing in figure skating: you are gay, then you are an outcast, get out of here. I don't know about gays in Russian figure skating. But I don't think we have. Because we have a very homophobic society.

Women's standings in Sochi

Not to let Russia win its first women's Olympic medal would be a sin. Do you think it was a scam? Well, what a lie. Technically Sotnikova was stronger than Kim Yong A. The Korean skates divinely, but emotionally Adeline performed better. It was the skating of the winner: when at the end of the program she was in tears, and everyone had goosebumps. This is the pride of the country, it does not matter how others roll back. Well, they pulled it up a little bit, can't it, or what?

Everyone was waiting for Lipnitskaya's victory. In the world of figure skating, they said this: who skates cleanly, she will become Olympic champion. Regardless of the rivals - we have a home Olympics, we decide who wins. Both of them were worthy, we have never had such a thing. They have the most complicated programs, they make cool jumps and spins. Adeline's problem is instability. She had never skated purely two programs in a row in her life: either she flunked the short program or the free program. And so the stars agreed that for the first time in her life this did not happen to her at the Olympics.

Sotnikova

She, like Lipnitskaya, has no young man. She at all good girl, very decent. At some point, she did not believe that she could win. She jumped super-complex cascades, but said that she skated very badly. This is not Lipnitskaya, who walks around and says: "I am a star."

Adelina won the Russian championship at the age of 12, and she acted like she took the last place. The rudest thing they can say about her is: "She's so good that I hate her. But damn, she's so good."

Lipnitskaya

It's no secret that she swears like a shoemaker. This is a 15-year-old child whose words make the ears curl up and fall off. They have this form of communication with the coach: they send each other three letters, sparks fly in training. This was also said by those who went to them for interviews. No one wrote about it, but everyone knows about it and is silent. Yes, Lipnitskaya is very important. It must be hard to endure so much attention at the age of 15. Why is that? Maybe her mother raised her like this: behold, you are a star.

Julia does not give her phone number to anyone, to anyone at all: even those who ride with her do not have it. She lives such a closed life, but at the same time she is open to suggestions: shoot for a cover or something like that. Nothing is known about her father.

Skaters often have divorced parents. All coaches love the poor, the unfortunate, with whom you can do whatever you want. They love that the child is completely given to you. And when a full-fledged family - the child has family holidays and it already belongs to the parents.

Mom takes Lipnitskaya to the skating rink, watches her for 24 hours, goes to competitions, because, they say, Yulia can gain 3 kilograms over the weekend, get drunk. They talk a lot about her. For example, that she took out the brain of the Federation with her demands: she allegedly went to Sochi in an armored car. Like, "I'm so screwed up." Someone said that she recently said to Averbukh: "What kind of program did you put me crappy?". What? Who are you?

After all these stories, I cannot say that I was disappointed in figure skating. If relatives ask whether to give the child to figure skating or not, I will say yes. No matter what. It's tempering.
